I apparently never posted the Labyrinth AU? Maybe? If I did I can’t find it. Oops

I doubt I’ll ever turn this into a fic but there’s a story summary bellow. It was kind of collectively came up with on discord. So this is not only my story anyone is welcome to do whatever they want with it.

Hux Is a theater major and his baby brother Techie is obsessed with fairytales. Hux doesn’t believe in it of course. I mean who would? but he loves his brother so every night he reads him his favorite story. The story about the goblin king. Their father Brendol thinks this is stupid. His sons shouldn’t be engaging in such foolish girly things. And after an argument in which Techie began to cry he asked the goblin king to take him away. He had no idea of course that the goblin king was real and had fallen madly in love with his eldest son Hux. when the king took Techie away Hux was furious, but his father would do nothing, not even believing the goblins were real and not caring that his youngest son was missing. So Hux set off of brave the labyrinth.

Of course Goblin King Kylo had no intention of harming the child. Techie was having fun with the King’s goblin knights. But he wanted to meet Hux and convince him to be his queen.

Hux faced many trials along the way and met many interesting characters, Like Babu Frik a worm who lived in the labyrinth. He hated the goblin king for taking his brother from him but upon meeting him in a dream like ball- he himself adorned in a magical ball gown- he could not deny the feelings he had for the strange man.

In the end he saw how happy Techie was and he decided to stay and become the Goblin queen. They would later rescue many other children from their awful parents and raise them in the goblin realm.

And whatever happened to Hux and Techie’s father? Well you see, he was tossed in the bog of eternal stench. A fate far worse than death.

The Labyrinth, the movie with David Bowie, and the novelization, do exactly that.

Once again, I went digging around and found waay too many women who thought Jerith had genuine feelings for Sarah, a 15-year-old girl.

(The actress who played Sarah in the movie was a literal teenager as well during filming)

Just.. I dunno. I guess its like that Bojack Horseman quote

Desperate to save his son and fix the family he let fall apart, Mr. Steel faces the Labyrinth and all the horrors it holds, with only his wit, his sewing shears and a fathers determination to save his child and make amends.

Ever the creative polymath, David Bowie had a fascinating acting career that ran parallel to his music career. His roles were legion: The Man Who Fell to Earth’s Thomas Jerome Newton, an alien who went looking for water for his home planet and found sex, booze, and a chambermaid instead; Nikola Tesla in The Prestige; and even Lord Royal Highness in SpongeBob — because why not? He even parodied his own untouchable coolness in Extras and Zoolander. But perhaps his most notable role came in 1986 when he slipped into Jareth the Goblin King’s oversized hair and ultra-tight pants for Labyrinth.

I was messing around with what my Icarus character's wings would look like/ what the harness would look like and here's what I came up with! I wanted them to look as natural as possible while still being as light as possible so I thought a bamboo frame would work best, I also wanted to add in some sun iconography too so I put a couple instances of that in the design as well ^.^

I have seen people do this before but I wanted to try doing it my way too soo..

Little shots of sketches for the character design

It’s pretty much the same as the movie but with some roles added or changed

Basically the girl (haven’t named yet) watched welcome home when she was younger and like the movie the labrynth and the goblin king were based on what she likes

Soo all the roles from the movie are filled by the welcome home charectors and chaos ensues

I’m planning on making small videos or comics similar to other aus I’ve seen :))
