What’s Kyle forever?
Tw death, opioids.
Kyle Pavone was the lead singer (cleans) of We Came As Romans. He passed away in August 2018, at 28 years old from an accidental overdose.
He was a beloved, talented artist, a funny and passionate guy. I had the chance to interview back in the days and i credit this interview to my love of the band.
After his death, his bandmates and family created the Kyle Pavone foundation to educate on opioids and the how to react in cases of overdoses.
‘Kyle forever’ became sort a rallying cry for fans and the band🖤

it’s summer, i’ve got my hat on backwards, and it’s time to fuckin party [thwack!]
now that i’ve introduced you to the vine that sums up my energy, down to the accent, i can introduce you to myself. my name’s andy and i act stupid and jump around with some other dudes you probably saw on your tumblr in like 2012 in this band called we came as romans and occasionally make heavier shit for our side project, cruicible. i also have a side gig where i sell art that people put on shirts or posters or whatever they want, which is a fancier way of saying ~*graphic design is my passion*~. i’m pretty much always drawing (i even made that little logo up there), looking for a party, or when i’m home you can find me doing yoga and building things from scratch. i also am a part of a really special organization that you’ll probably hear more about in the near future, the kyle pavone foundation. this foundation acts to help musicians and the music community find mental health care and provide crisis services to those who may need them. it’s real near and dear to my heart and i’m happy to get to share this with all of you. 💛
i answer to fromthefirstnote on gh and am looking to trade dog pics.

Up to $2,000 will be awarded per applicant until scholarship funds are exhausted. Kyle’s family has released a statement: "In honor of our son Kyle Pavone, we wanted to do something that would help musicians during this time of great need," said Vince and Caroline Pavone, parents of Kyle Pavone. "Even under normal circumstances, the life of a musician can be a lot to handle, and the current situation we're living in only amplifies that struggle. We thought the best thing we could do, what Kyle would want us to do, is to help musicians who are facing difficult times because of circumstances that are beyond their control." We Came as Romans Release Statement
We Came As Romans have released a statement about the future of the band. You can read that below. The last few weeks Kyle’s friends, family, fans and the five of us have been experiencing a very wide range of emotions. And for us it’s been the most difficult time of our lives. Through this we’ve been trying to be very honest with each other and open about how we’re feeling and grieving. So through all of that we’ve decided that the best course of action for the band is to do the Bullet For My Valentine tour. We feel like this honours Kyle, and we can talk about his foundation- the Kyle Pavone Foundation- and carry on doing what he would have wanted us to do. Which is us being on stage together, playing music together with our fans. We will not be replacing Kyle- we will be continuing on, the five of us, and honouring his life for the next few weeks on tour. --- Please consider supporting us so we can keep bringing you stories like this one. ◎ https://chorus.fm/news/we-came-as-romans-release-statement/
