You can tell I've been listening a lot of The Killers' music lately when I go as far as saying that Spaceman and Spaceship Adventure, the song created for an episode of Yo Gabba Gabba of all things, are connected in some way.

Diana Wynne Jones wins big once again for understanding that the funniest way to write an isekai/portal fantasy is from the point of view of the people living in the fantasy world who look at the character who got isekai’d from our world and are like ‘WHAT is that guy’s deal???’

Howl/Howell stumbling back into his moving castle drunk after a night with his rugby bros is like the second funniest scene in that book, closely followed by poor Sophie getting reverse isekai’d and taking a day trip to Wales and suffering the terrible ordeal of a ride in a car.

Finally finished my most ambitious Hatchetfield project yet. Every box in the border represents a different Nightmare Time, as well as Hey Melissa, Trail to Oregon, Workin’ Boys, the BBQ monologues and Peanuts the Hatchetfield Pocket Squirrel. The three large boxes at the bottom represent the three main musicals. It’s 18x24” and made with sharpie :]

Silly lil' bit of The Killers trivia: a film based off of the band's "murder trilogy" songs (which includes "Leave the Bourbon on the Shelf", "Midnight Show", & "Jenny Was a Friend of Mine", which are all bangers if you ask me, especially "Midnight Show") was planned way back whenever but the film never actually came into fruition.

Where am I going with this? Welp, I kind of have an idea. I'm a decent writer so I've been thinking... what if I wrote a bunch of stories based off of the murder trilogy? It could happen... I just gotta find the time to actually write everything and think of a decent storyline...
