I double checked this submission just to be sure. I’d like to submit Apollonia Vitelli Corleone from The Godfather. Apparently, she was 17 in the movie according to the Godfather wiki. I could’ve sworn she was older lmao, but that’s what the wiki and trivia says.
Tribute Name: Apollonia Vitelli-Corleone
Age: 17
Restrictions: None
If you would like to see a character aged 12-18 enter the Hunger Games, please submit them through my asks. 19+ aged character submissions are currently closed.
Please also look at my pinned post for submission rules as well as a list of previously submitted characters prior to submitting your character.

It would have been great if we got that scene of Tom and Kay at the end of The Godfather. It’s such a GOOD. SCENE. It adds so much complexity to Tom and Kay’s relationship. Also the whole “You and the children are the only people on this earth he couldn’t harm.” Agh 😖 And then Kay making that decision to go back to Michael with the kids even after Tom confirmed what her husband is. Kay loves Michael. Prays for his soul like Mama Corleone did for Vito. I just

When Tom calls Carlo after Sonny's death.
"Hagen gave it to him straight. “They killed Sonny tonight. Don’t say anything. Connie called him while you were asleep and he was on his way over there, but I don’t want her to know that, even if she guesses it, I don’t want her to know it for sure. She’ll start thinking it’s all her fault. Now I want you to stay with her tonight and not tell her anything. I want you to make up with her. I want you to be the perfect loving husband. And I want you to stay that way until she has her baby at least. Tomorrow morning somebody, maybe you, maybe the Don, maybe her mother, will tell Connie that her brother got
killed. And I want you by her side. Do me this favor and I’ll take care of you in the times to come. You got that?”
"Carlo’s voice was a little shaky. “Sure, Tom, sure. Listen, me and you always got along. I’m grateful. Understand?”
“Yeah,” Hagen said. “Nobody will blame your fight with Connie for causing this, don’t worry about that. I’ll take care of that.” He paused and softly, encouragingly, “Go ahead now, take care of Connie.” He broke the connection."
He had learned never to make a threat, the Don had taught him that, but Carlo had gotten the message all right: he was a hair away from death.
From The Godfather novel by Mario Puzo.
(Is Tom threatening to have him killed here?)

Throwback Thursday - Favorite Books from High School Years - Month of June - 1st of 5 books #throwbackthursday #favoritebooks
For #ThrowbackThursday during the month of June, I will share my favorite books from my high school years. I’m not including books that were ‘typical’ high school required reading.…

I could go on for hours and hours about Tom and Michael’s relationship. Also Tom and Vito’s relationship. How they contrast and differ from each other. I just have a lot of feelings about Tom Hagen.

Umm, that's not how it works. For my non-catholic friends: your parents pick your godparents when you are baptized not when you're confirmed. You have a sponsor when you are confirmed to make sure you know everything you need/want to before you fully accept the Catholic faith. I appreciate that in the movie it's a baptism making it make sense.
Tldr: Mario Puzo made a mistake writing The Godfather and they fixed it in the movie.
