you tried to do elf on the shelf for toddler yuuji, thinking it would be a a fun christmas tradition, but every time sukuna would walk by the doll he would turn to yuuji and threaten to touch the elf if yuuji wasn’t a good boy (meaning it will lose its power). you find out quickly what happens after seeing the child basically guard the doll from sukuna, completely petrified. you had to be creative in your excuse as to why the elf would never be actually harmed by sukuna

also one day you were feeling too tired to change the position of the doll, so sukuna offered to move him (which was your fault for agreeing). you wake up the next day to a high pitched scream followed by yuuji bursting into your door exclaiming that the elf was murdered. you find out that sukuna spent hours last night building a horrific crime scene with an abundance amount of red dyed water that looked, to the toddler, like blood. the small knife placed meticulously on the cotton chest didn’t help your case.

yuuji forgets about it the second new year comes around, but the elf never returned for another christmas
