Me begrudgingly tossing $10 in towards my boss’s birthday present so as not to arouse suspicion while immediately thinking “God as soon as they check I don’t have a criminal record I am OUT of here! I hate you! I hate you!”

That’s why when I was at my Iowa show back in 2022 and me and @lululawrence were in the pit waving our rainbow flags the entire show, Louis made sure to stay on our side of the stage, pointing at us and staring the entire time. And then gave a big ass speech WHILE STARING RIGHT AT US about how we’ve (the fans) given him the courage to be his true self! Because he’s not proud to be gay 🙄 Jesus fucking Christ where is this sentiment coming from?

i miss my friends. i'm the one who hasn't been replying.

#WELL i'm officially moved and i just gotta make it through til xmas so i can. have christmas day off #then go back to work on boxing day. like a freak #LISTEN i get that working boxing day is a necessity for some jobs etc #but when i signed up for this job it was ALL public holidays off AND 3 weeks off over xmas #and since work went to hell this year and we've now had 4 different owners in a six month period #and we're now contracted to open 364 days a year with extended hours #its like. well thats NOT what i signed up for. and i'm gonna be mad about it.#first time this cafes opened in boxing day in 40 years since we opened 🙄#this is what happens when a big sydney cooperation buys a small family business okay they ruin everyones will to live

I got so mad at my christmas schedule my form of resistance has been wearing crocs to work as my job at the front desk of a hotel for the past 4 days

#government just announced it might order us back to work and label any continuing strike action by my union as illegal #worst of all worlds cause it means the exisiting contract gets extended AGAIN #thus removing any possibility of even the small gains the corp was willing to concede on #while also destroying any motivation for them to ever offer similiar concessions in the future #i was counting on that raise too my rent is abt to go up by 300 #i also FINALLY got to see a laser tech but it's so expensive on top of everything else already happening #it (along with my meds) would've been covered by insurance if we'd signed a new contract but fuck me i guess #anyways love to go back to work with a month long backlog the week before christmas. fuck all life

Got special permission to work good Friday and Easter Monday and honestly it's been fucking lovely being able to do my job and not have to be interrupted by my colleagues. Like I love them all dearly, we're a very close group but I've been so unbelievably productive and I also get the holiday days I save by not being forced to take these days off added onto my general leave so I can take them when I want.

#jumblr #ive been so productive #like ive done almost a week of work #its been incredible #also i hate being forced to take christmas and easter off. i have to use up 12 holiday days over them #out of the 17 i get on my current contract #i also had to use up 4 for a dufferent job so i basically had a 7/8 month contract with 1 day of holiday of my choice #and now i get three back for working easter bank holidays and also an extra day over xmas #this is great
