Okay but i really like this season, the rookies are much more refreshing and less cringy. I love nurys(loved her since ayto) and i found myself LOVING Olivia and Horacio. The only annoying thing is kaycee and nany tbh.

they did not do the timing on these seasons justice. the fuck, i don't want to see an upcoming elimination on 38 on the second episode on aus. so fucking stupid.

My opinion on the Nany-Turbo fight. Yes turbo overreacted (like he always does) and he deserves to be thrown into elimination based on how's he's been acting this entire season but I can't figure out why Nany even asked him if he wanted to go into elimination in the first place? Like there are no skulls/money from elimination this season. I cant find a reason why someone would want to go into elimination. So why even ask? I've come up with two reasons.

1.) Nany thought that because Turbo has been arguing with everyone that he would want the chance to fight them in elimination.

2.) Nany wanted Turbo to ask her to save her so she could claim he owed her a favor later in the game .

Both of these reasons are kinda bs to me. I get why turbo is mad. If he and Nany are friends, then why should he ask to be safe? If he wanted to go in he would tell her but he should assume he is safe. Nany even asking is viewed as a betrayal.

-> * ok ok ok! for favorite tv show i picked The Tribe bc i've been obsessed with the show since my early teens BUT... why have so many ppl never heard of that show? v.v it's literally so good, it's basically the first time i experienced media abt post-apocalypse/dystopia and it became my comfort tv-show to watch. °-° rant over.

40 Day Anime Challenge 2023 Edition - Day 38: Anime you wish had a few more seasons

Noragami & Kamisama Kiss

Both of these series are FANTASTIC and perfect for their genres and stories, but both suffer from the classic manga-adaptation-syndrome: THERE'S SO MUCH MORE IN THE SOURCE MATERIAL!!!

Standalone, the Noragami anime is the stronger of the two, and could ALMOST pass for a perfect, well-rounded series.... if it wasn't for the infamous post-credits cliffhanger scene in season 2.

The Kamisama Kiss anime is a bit more rushed, but to its credit, it does have the Time Travel OVAs, but that still only covers around the halfway point of the manga!

Basically, both anime are fantastic adaptations and could ALMOST pass for perfection.... if it wasn't for the fact that there's SO MUCH MORE!!!

The reason this wasn't my main choice is because it honestly deserves a REBOOT at this point cuz it's been more than a decade and has one of the WORST "read the manga!" cliffhanger endings EVER!
