Ben Solo did not consider himself to be a patron of the arts. He had managed to fail art class his freshman year of highschool, flunked the beginners music class his sophomore year, and hated the introductory photography class so much he switched classes in the first week. This theater class is his last hope to get the art credit that he needed to graduate highschool. 

So far in the semester, the class hadn’t been too bad. There was memorization and acting exercises, but all in all the class was pretty fun. Ben was excited to finish off his highschool career. 

One thing he did not expect was his massive crush on the British exchange student, Armitage Hux.

In the beginning, Ben thought Armitage was there for the same reason he was, just to get the stupid art credit. But, he soon realized that Armie actually liked acting. He put his heart into every small performance that he did, every monologue and improv game.

“You really like acting, don’t you?” Ben asked as he looked over the short script. It was for their final in the class, to put on a short 10 minute play. Armie and him were in a group with one other senior, one that has decided that they don’t need to practice, so it was just the two of them in Ben’s house. His parents were out of town, which is why he suggested they practice there.

“I find this class to be more agreeable than other art classes.” Armie answered, writing something down in his notebook.

“But you put a lot more effort into this class than anybody else.”

“I put this much effort into everything I do.”

“Yeah, but you smile when you do work for this class and seem to actually enjoy it.”

Armitage gave him an unimpressed look, then a gentle shove. Ben laughed and shoved back. That turned to a playful wrestling match, the two boys laughing as they fought each other. In the end, Armie came out on top, literally pinning Ben to the ground and sat on his waist. Ben panted and found himself staring at Armies lips. For the longest time, Ben dreamed about those soft looking lips on his. 

“Uh? Ben?” The words broke Ben out of his trance and he sheepishly pushed Armie off of him.

They went back to studying their lines innocently. Ben wanted to do well because he wanted Armie to be proud of him. 

“Do you want to practice together now?” Armitage asked after a few minutes.

“Kinda hard to do without Rose.”

“Well, we still need to make sure our performances and timing is great. I’ll read Rose’s parts.”

“Alright. Start from the beginning?”

“Of course.”

Armie cleared his throat and began to read off his lines. The play they chose was a comedy called The Wedding Story. Ben was the groom, Rose was the Bride, and Armie played the Storyteller. 

“ The bride at the tender age of 24-” Ben laughs, as directed. “WHAT? WHAT’S SO FUNNY?”

“She’s not even close to 24!” Ben said, putting emphasis in a way that would make their teacher proud.

“Now just wait a minute here, Buster Brown, whose story is this?”

“OURS!” The two yelled.

Then they broke down laughing. It was meant to be an absurd comedy, but probably not the best for the actors to burst out laughing.

Ben slowly quieted down, while Armitage kept laughing for a little longer. He was smiling so beautifully, and Ben couldn’t stop himself from closing the gap. Their mouths collided and the other boy was shocked still. It took a moment for Ben’s brain to catch up, and when it did, he panicked and pulled away quickly.

“I’m so sorry!” He buried his head in his hands, cheeks red with his embarrassment. 

Armie was silent. Ben mentally prepared himself to fail this final because of his own stupidity. But, then the other boy reached out and pried his hands away from his face. Ben looked into his pretty blue eyes and was prepared to face the worst rejection in his life. However, it never came because Armitage gave him a peck on the lips. He pulled away with a smile.

“Will you do me the honor of going on a date with me?” He asked.

Ben nodded enthusiastically before tackling Armie to the ground with a laugh.

You want to know about...  my oc lore? Oh boy, never had anyone ask about them before ngl I'm a little nervous now (also, I'm doing great thanks for asking 💕)

Okay, alright! Let's start with some little facts about the two main characters shall we? 

Iola (it's an "i" btw), our beautiful female lead, was once your average 19 yo girl who worked at a small bakery on the outskirts of the city to support herself back when she was still on earth. She was an orphan, had a few good friends, and absolutely loved reading romance in her free time! 

One of her favorite romance novels/ webcomic actually was one about a poor noble lady who her mother insisted that she goes to the royal hall to have some fun since she never went before and and also because it was the crown prince's birthday! a big event really. And after the prince saw her at the ball, he fell in love with her and now is doing everything to be with her. A cliche story I know but Iola kept reading it because, well, the art style nice! and um... She may or may not had little crush on one of the supporting characters (that would be our guy Leonhard!).

She's not sure how it started... I mean he was handsome yes, but so was everybody else really. He also didn't have that big of a role in the story aside from protection the young lady like he prince has ordered him, but she thought it was cute how attentive and caring he was when taking care of her.

Fast-forward after a few more chapters, Iola was devastated to find out that her favorite character got killed trying protect the prince and his soon-to-be bride. So much so that she didn't notice when she accidentally turned on the kitchen stove which led to her dying in her sleep due the the leaking gas.

... Or did she? Because next thing she knows she's waking up in a completely different place surrounded by all these strange people who were sobbing and cheering about how happy they were to have her back after she's been in a coma so long.

Confused (rightfully so), she tries to ask them who are they and what's going on. But her current body is so week that she can't move a muscle or speak. Fortunately, and after some time, she slowly regained her health as well the memories of the body that she now possess.

At first, she didn't realize that she got transferred into the novel that she was reading. So she spent most of her time trying to get used her new home and the fact that she has someone to call family now (it felt so weird to her to call a strange man 'father' the first couple of times, but she got used to it... eventually).

She actually realized she was inside the novel after her father introduced her to the captain of the royal knights one day when they went out to see the horses (apparently, and her new dad was a very important nobleman who owns most of the animal farms and stables in the country).

After realizing that,  she made it her main mission to get closer to him but to also try and prevent him from dying like he did in the original novel.

Now for Leonhard! As I previously mentioned he is the captain of the royal knights, he's 23 years old, and even though he's a person of a higher rank, most people avoid interacting with him because they find him to be intimidating and scary looking because of his scars. That's why he doesn't have any real friends or any other kind of relationship with anyone (aside from the queen and the crown prince)

He used to have a family before, but his poor mother died of the plague when he was little and his father sold him to a slave master for like 3 silver coins because he didn't want to take care of him anymore.

After that Leonhard was forced to become an underground ring fighter at a very young age to survive, that went on for almost 7 years until the queen and her knights came to arrest the slave master and everyone that was involved in that incident. Recognizing his strength (and feeling sorry for the pitiful boy), the queen took him in under her care and encouraged him to become a knight to work for her.

Feeling forever in debit for the queen, he accepted her offer and did just that. training day after day none stop until he became an official knight at 15, as well as the youngest royal captain the country has ever seen at 18, and also receiving the title of fearless hero at 22 after winning a war in only 3 years.

So you could imagine his surprise and confusion when the famous ill daughter of a well known noble man suddenly appears in his life demanding to be his friend, because why would she want that? He can't understand her reasoning at all. Not to mention all the bizarre things that she does and say all the time, and yet... He can't help but feel drawn to everything about her...

Hcjskxjslkk okay I should stop now or else I'll never shut up about them hehe

But yeah! This is roughly the lore of these two! I hope that it was a little interesting and that I didn't bore you too much talking about them XD oh also! The original title for my story was going to be "let me love him!" But idk I might change it later on.

Monty's a himbo (💚)- unlike Roxy, his confidence isn't a front to cover for his insecurities, he just... goes into situations headfirst, no planning, no thoughts, head empty.

So he knows he's gonna propose, he has one of the P&S weld a ring (engraved steel with a gems from a bracelet he found in lost and found), he picks a good day, but as it gets closer, he actually finds himself getting nervous for the first time in a long while. What if you don't like the ring? Could he do more to make the proposal better? What if you say no?

The day of the proposal comes, and it's so sweet and thoughtful- and a lot. He spends the day pampering you, bringing you little gifts and sweets, nuzzling, hugging, and gently headbutting you every chance he gets. Poor boy is anxious af.

Stuttering slightly, he asks you to go to Gator Golf with him later, after hours ofc, and you ask him if everything's okay- he's usually either relaxed, not a worry in the world, or getting into silly arguments with the others, you never really see him this soft- when he gets down on one knee and the ring box floats down the river to the two of you. (You don't see but Chica is doing the Hiccup thumbs up meme at him before disappearing)

You say yes, and he's overjoyed, immediately picking you up and twirling you around, laughing boisterously.

He always boasts about you, lots of sweet stuff about being the world's best power couple, but he says it now with twice as much delight in his voice.

The wedding is held in Gator Golf- there's actually a wedding package you can buy (ofc), so the Glamrocks borrowed one of the officiant STAFF bots- with the other animatronics and any trusted human friends/family present. The officiant bot doesn't get more than halfway through the "You may now kiss the bride/groom/nearlywed" before Monty's picking you up and kissing you all over, his tail thumping in joy.

Bonnie's got a laid-back, chill exterior, but like any bunny he's a big ol' bundle of nerves. He has obvious nervous giveaways- foot tapping, ear flicking, leg jogging. If his nose could twitch, it would. The others have to give subtle cues to him from across the room to let him know when he's doing it, so he doesn't give away that he's planning something five minutes into meeting up with you.

There used to be bowling championships held at the Plex, but most of the trophies and rings have been stashed away. It's not hard to find a nice ring, though of course he has it personalized (Chica helps him bedazzle it)

He's always a big softie, especially around you, but he's basically heart eyes the whole day. He has a little ukulele he found in Lost and Found and he sings you songs all day.

I feel like he's a goofy dude (I dunno, something about his face on the Bonnie Bowl sign I think lmao), so ofc when he finally pops the question, he starts it off with some pun or joke ("you bowled your way right into my heart" , "your beauty struck me harder than any bowling ball" etc)

You say yes and all of a sudden you're wrapped up in a big bunny hug (he drops the ring by accident)

Bonnie waits until the officiant bot is done talking, but isn't really listening, too focused on gazing at you, and messes up his lines a bit or has to be prompted again. It's very cute and Monty teases him about it later

For those from Afterglow Savannah it can be different but for the most part it’s joyous, lots of food, dancing, and a lot of people for the most part, can change between beastkin species if they’re a more solitary animal like a cheetah or honey badger or a big pack animal like Hyenas or wild dogs

From those from the land of Hot Sands, it’s a party 100% like a lot of food, dancing, people, and gifts

From those from the Rose Queendom, I feel it would be fairly simple or the opposite and it has a thousand and one rules to follow

For the merfolk of the Coral Sea, it has two different types cause of the more “common” merfolk and the more “uncommon”(like the tweels and Azul)

For the common type its just a party and so many decorations and the to be married ones are covered in colourful clothing or have their tails painted in matching colour patterns and lots of music and food and their version of dancing and its bright and out there

For the less common, I feel like it’s a little less of wild colours and more of the safer colours in the water and the to be married ones would wear shell jewellery and do their best to look beautiful but deadly and there is a party with lots of food and music and its a bit calmer

•You both had been together for quite some time and the king of dogs felts as though he could trust you enough to make that final, big step. The only thing that stood in his way was the jarring question of how? How was he going to propose to you? He knew that he couldn’t do what he had done when he confessed to you and outright ask you in the bluntest way

•Truth be told, that was his plan. But Karaka had immediately shot the idea down and told Yama that he needed to make a proposal special - especially if it’s for someone he loves. So, with that out of the question, the slayer found himself between a rock and a hard place. He wasn’t good at all this romance stuff, it was even a wonder that he fell in love in the first place

•There are times he decides against it, to just continue this dating phase for as long as he can. Yet, he almost felt bad for doing so. He loved you, didn’t he? He was convinced that this was the next chapter in your relationship with him. . . and there was no way in hell that he was going to back down after he had set his mind to such a notation

•So, with great difficult Yama began to conduct a plan. After asking around a bit [ and getting teased beyond measure when White had found out ] he had finally put together a plan of action that he was certain would not fail. People love the cliche stuff, don’t they? Even if it was embarrassing for him to even bring himself to think about, it was something he was willing to do for you.

•He was reminded time and time again by Karaka to not make this the way his confession had gone and instead speak from the heart. Not flat out blunt, but decently.

•Yama decided against taking you out anywhere and making it extravagant - mostly because he thought such concepts were overrated. Instead, he took some time off and spent the entire day with you. Doing whatever you wished, getting someone to cook your favourite food [ Karaka, who’s the real wingman ] and all-in-all spoiling you in a way he hasn’t had the chance of doing in awhile

•When you had glanced away from the game of cards you had requested to play, that is when he took his chance. Yama slips his hand into his pocket to ensure that the box is still there before getting down on one knee - awaiting you to notice

•And sure enough, you did. Yama wasn’t good at expressing his emotions verbally but the words of Karaka replayed in his head like a broken record. Speak from the heart. Which is exactly what he went on to do; “Y/N. We’ve known each other for some time and I -” he falls silent, mind racing as he quickly tries to regain his train of thoughts. Don’t be blunt, don’t be blunt.

•“Shit, I’m not good at these things.” He groans, scratching the back of his neck. Screw it, he’ll be blunt. “I’m in love with you, Y/N,’’ no going back now. “and I want to spend the rest of our lives together. Be my bride.’’

•It certainly was blunt but it wasn’t from a place of malice or uncaringness. In fact, you could see clearly in his eyes that you were indeed the one who held his heart. Which is what prompted you to immediately answer with an excited ‘yes!’ and throw yourself into his arms before he could even slip the ring onto your finger

•Yama was relieved. Now that this once jarring proposal was out of the way, you could now finally be his

She was in trouble. She knew that - she had screwed up badly and now she had to pay for it. Being on the road for weeks now, trying to get as far away from home as possible wasn't easy. But she had to. There was this dancing gig in Los Angeles that she had wanted to go to, trying out as a dancer. When she finally came to L.A. they'd had enough people and basically told her to fuck off. After that she spent a couple more days on the road, running out of food, water and money before she was even close to entering Santa Carla.

She'd been starving when she got here, and she felt troubled to ask people for money. When she'd found some guy - a surfer, black hair with some Bride of Frankenstein like white stripe in it- harassing a girl, she decided shed try and get his wallet. He clearly was a bad person so she wouldn't be to troubled by it. Star surprised herself when she managed to snatch the wallet without him noticing. She walked away quickly, pocketing it in her jacket.

She kept walking, making sure she was no longer around the place where she'd snatched it. She slipped into an alley, opening it, and smiling triumphantly. There were to fifty dollar bills in there. It would last her about a month if she bought cheap food and wouldn't spend it on a roof over her head. She smiled. Maybe Santa Carla would be a good place for her.

"You see that, Paul?" Star looked up to see two guys, who could've easily been in a rockband walk into the ally. "Seems like we got a little thief on our hands."

Star swallowed the lump in her throat. Had they seen her? She realised there was no way out of the alley- she would have to run past them, but she would never be quick enough. She looked up nervously when she saw the tallest of them two towering over her.

"She's about to piss herself man," Paul laughed as he looked at Dwayne.

"She better doesn't. It ruins a good meal."

"Not that we decide whether or not she is one."

Star became scared - what were they talking about? Why would she be a meal?

"Are- are you cannibals?"

Both guys burst out in laughter. "She speaks!" Paul grinned.

"You're lucky you did, girl. You might have just saved your life."

"Who- who are you? Are you - eh- with the guy I got this from?"

"I'm Dwayne. Idiot over there's Paul."

"I'm Star."

She was quiet, not looking at either of them. Even though Dwayne had taken a few steps back, she still had no way to go.

"See you two found a new friend," another two guys walked into the alley, two blonds, one dressed in black and one with a bright coloured jacket.

"Little Star over here thinks were cannibals," Dwayne chuckled.

"Stole some money and is scared we're gonna eat her." Paul grinned, sending a teasing wink her way.

"Well, should we?" The one in all black asked, his voice cold as his eyes rested in Star.

"I- I rather have you didn't..." she said quietly, which caused the boys to snicker.

"You heard the lady, boys. Star, was it? How about you join us, hm? Come with us, and all is forgotten. You won't have to steal, you got a place to sleep, a family that cares-" he stopped talking when he saw her look up. "Sounds good, doesn't it?"
