In the movie The Blues Brothers, there are two ways Frank Oz is homaged in life.

One is the fact that he makes a cameo at the beggining of the movie.

The other is that when the protagonists enter a mall with their car trying to escape the police, we see the interior of a toy shop where a man holds a doll of Grover and asks if there is also a doll of Miss Piggy, wich are two Muppet characters that Frank Oz performed at the time (in Sesame Street and the Muppet Show, respectivelly).

“Rooster Teeth had a lot of issues as evidenced by the allegations past employees have come forward with” and “Warner Bros is fucking evil for axing an entire company and letting some of its employees find out via tweet” are statements that can and should coexist.

Like. It’s not some gotcha that RT is shutting down. It’s not some vindictive justice that this Big Bad Company is gone now. Projects are now canceled. People will be fired from their jobs. And because it’s Warner Bros. it’s only a matter of time before all those animation projects (RvB, RWBY, Camp Camp, every single episode of anything they made) is scrubbed off of the internet.

It’s gonna be the same thing that happened with HBO Max. It’s gonna be the same thing with the Coyote vs. Acme movie and Batgirl.

RT going down is not the thing you should be lording over people. RT going down should not be some ammo for your “RWBY is mid” takes. RT going down is not some “I always knew it was cringe” meme. Real people are gonna be effected by this. People will lose this jobs and will lose all the passion projects they worked on.

This is horrifying for the people involved in these projects and the state of animation itself. Warner Bros. only owned Rooster Teeth for 2 years. They bought them in 2022. Not even 2 full years. They didn’t even get a chance and they axed THE ENTIRE COMPANY. NOT JUST ONE SHOW. THE ENTIRE FUCKING COMPANY AND ALL ITS IPS. HOLY FUCKING SHIT. THIS IS NOT THR TIME FOR A FAN WAR.

"Are you Jason Peter Todd?!" demanded a deep and commanding tone from the strange glowing being in front of them.

All the Bats stiffened and tensed, no doubt gearing up for a fight against the being that somehow knew Red Hood's full name.

Jason, Red Hood, decided to put on a brave front despite no doubt cursing in his head and wondering how the heck did this thing know his full freaking name.

"Whose asking." he snarled out, his hands twitching for his gun when the huge glowing knight with purple flames coming out of his helmet and cape, who was riding on a nightmare looking horse while they all had been in the cave going over tonight's patrol.

The Knight didn't seemed bothered by his response nor did he even seem to care or flinch when Batman made his own demand on 'Why was he there and who was he' or when Damian unsheathed his sword and pointed it towards him. Instead the strange glowing Knight reached to it side and pulled out... A glowing scroll? Huh. (Also he completely unnerved everyone in the room when the Knight didn't even react when Batman had tossed a Baterang when he reached for his side)

The Knight opened the scroll and spoke clearly with purpose.

"Jason Peter Todd,

You are hereby invited as a special guest of honor to the crowning of our future King of the Infinite Realms.

Daniel Phantom, once Daniel Jackson Fenton, and once Daniel Austen Todd.

Prince of the Infinite Realms, the Keeper of Balance, The Peacekeeping Halfa, the Defeater of the Tyrant King Pariah Dark, The Great One, Youngest of the Ancients, Ancient of Space, The Bridge between Life and Death.

Spade Pirates’ First Mate Sabo AU

Except Sabo and Ace both don’t realize it’s each other because Sabo still has amnesia and Ace can’t recognize Sabo after 7 years because of the mask

This came from the writing prompt someone gave me of Sabo and Deuce interaction and once I got thinking about them I was like. There’s too many parallels. And couldn’t stop thinking about it

In this AU Sabo doesn’t get saved by Dragon, washes up onshore on Goa before he dies, and survives to set sail again a week or so later, but still has amnesia. Realizing that sailing alone as a ten year old is pretty unfeasible though, he stops sailing after the first few islands and lives as a feral forest child on his own for the next seven years until he feels ready and strong enough to try again.

He chooses his own name, Tage (pronounced taj), based on the assumption that Sabo is his last name and his belongings are too ruined to read his given name :) credit to whery for the name pun idea it’s absolutely genius

I might do some short comics for this if I ever get around to it but for now it’s just a loose collection of ideas!

Sae Itoshi never strays from his morning routine.

From opening the window to his morning kombucha, it’s always the same. That is, until you came around.

Golden sunlight filters through the curtains as Sae shifts awake. His body clock wakes him up relatively early, so he’s not surprised to find you still fast asleep, nestled gently in his arms.

He takes in your slumbering form—the way your chest rises and falls softly, your hair messy, and your arm resting ever so lightly holding his own. You’re perfect, he thinks to himself. His beautiful lover, lost in the land of dreams, all for his eyes to take in.

Although he doesn’t allow himself to linger any longer. The grasp you once held on his arm slowly loosens as he wriggles out of your hold, gently to not disturb you.

It pains him to see you cling aimlessly to the air instead of him, but he has a busy day ahead of him and can’t afford to waste time.

That is, until he hears a faint whimper from across the room. To his dismay, he instantly recognises the sound. Putting his clothes down and turning around only to find your slumbering figure writhing slightly, letting out small sounds of discontent.

He curses himself inwardly. Putting you in such a painful situation makes his heart clench. Is he really that heartless? Not for you. He vowed to never make you sad, awake, or asleep.

“Mierda, amor,” he murmurs, slipping off the clothes he’d just put on before quietly sliding back into his spot beside you. Pulling your restless body into a warm embrace, one that assures him that he made the right decision.

“I’m sorry, angel. Didn’t know you’d be that restless without me.” He whispers, tracing soft patterns on your arm. “I’ll stay as long as you need me here.” He places a soft kiss on the back of your head, allowing himself to fall back into slumber for the first time he can remember.

All because of you.
