#The Arkham Knight's Militia

Hi there!

I found your work on Ao3 a few years back in Volume one of Cigarette Smoke and Snark and I just wanted to say that I absolutely loved it. Your writing and writing style is magnificent and was actually a huge inspiration for me beginning my own writing specifically for Jason and Red Hood/Arkham Knight. That said, I had a quick question for you; when I recently got back into DC I found the other volumes of Cigarette Smoke and Snark along with the other works that are in that collection.

Some of my absolute favorites of the whole collection are the Militia fics so I was wondering if you had a separate published volume with just the Militia works in them? As much as I love all your works, sometimes I am just wanting to read the Militia ones and I was wondering if you had a centralized collection of them. I did see that in volume one, the Militia fics where all tagged by chapters on if they where a Militia fic or not, but I know some of the later volumes don’t have the same differentiation.

If not, no worries, just figured I’d at least give it a shot and ask!

Unfortunately, no. I gave up tagging the things as this, like my spider plant, grew out of my control. HOWEVER!

-The Garage Tapes one-shots have character tags attached (Elseworld, but the characterizations haven't really changed)

-7/10 chapters of Volume 3 are Militia-related: only 5, 7, & 8 are not

(Bonus: I'm hoping to get a new one in there by the end of the week, but we'll see if life lets me.)

-The Ghost Hunting arc in Volume 2 is Militia-based, AND it has a soundtrack

(Ghost Hunting also has a bonus alternate ending over in Why Do They Kick Me?: it's "You Need to Get Out of Here!")

You're on your own for anything else. Like they happily say in-game, before Batman starts really being a dick, 'he is one man, we are thousands'. There may not be thousands yet, but I'm not eighty! I got time!

Something that really amuses me is that who want GoodDad!Bruce reconciling with jason really just want arkham batman.

So I was playing Batman Arkham Knight a few nights ago and I heard a militia soldier say hashtag city of fear, everyone post your pictures! I swear Jason hired the most funniest soldiers in his militia! I wish I got it on video.

The bright side of the suit is that your men think you're a robot and don't pay any mind to you out of it cuz they either think youre a local kid that you let stay at the base for various side or a strangely young consultant

The down side is that they think you're a robot and will talk to your empty suit like you are wearing it
