I'm from St. Louis. It cracked me up when I first read The Lightening Thief and the bit where Percy jumps out of the Arch. He ended up in the Mississippi River. Except, anyone who has been to the Arch knows that if you jump out of it, you will go splat on pavement. There will be no water. So it always made me wonder how Percy fell into the water. They fixed it in the graphic novel and had Grover pull Percy just far enough away from the Arch to were he falls in the river. I wonder how they'll handle it in the TV series. IDK why, but it's always been an irk of mine about the book.
