♦️ To cope with their more stressful visions, they paint them onto canvas 🎨🖌 (this way, it tangibly exists instead of being just in their head... unfortunately the paintings always end up very 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵; other demons struggle to comprehend what's being depicted)

♦️ 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒆𝒖𝒔 has always been an anxious person & the whole 𝑨𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒏 “incident” certainly didn't help (they've got the nerves of a cheetah 🙀)

♦️ While in their demonic form, they appear as beautiful “𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦-𝘯𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘥” raven 🐦‍⬛ (courtesy of their naturally white hair affecting the colour of their feathers)

♦️ 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒆𝒖𝒔 is quite embarrassed about how quickly they've become attached to 𝑨𝒛𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒔 (despite barely knowing each other, his very presence is a balm to them 🥺... but getting close to someone again is a frightening prospect)

♦️ Due to the puppeteering ability of their demonic form, they do their best to avoid direct eye-contact with others 👁👁 (even when they're in their humanoid form)

♦️ 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒆𝒖𝒔 has always been fascinated by the 𝐴𝑏𝑦𝑠𝑠𝑎𝑙 𝑃𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒 (despite the unnerving feeling that always follows them while they're there) 🏰

♦️ After being abandoned, by those who apparently “cared” about them, their self-worth was completely destroyed ☹️ (they've become a nervous wreck; terrified of being thrown away & it being all THEIR fault again)

♦️ 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒆𝒖𝒔 has a habit of chewing on their lower lip whenever they're nervous/overwhelmed 🫦

♦️ At the ball, they told their ex-friends that they'd be the one forgetting THEM this time (having those type of people in their life will do nothing but hurt everyone involved 😒)

♦️ 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒆𝒖𝒔 apologized to 𝑨𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒏 when they “met” him in CHP𝟺 😓 (they knew he'd NEVER except it, but at least they can somewhat put all of this behind them now)

♦️ They agreed to try sparring with 𝐎𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧... they don't expect to be very good, but maybe they can learn something from him 🗡🛡

♦️ 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒆𝒖𝒔' cooking skills are nonexistent, they won't poison anybody, but it's best to keep them OUT of the kitchen 🤢 (they stick to eating out, or making SIMPLE meals, whenever they're hungry)

You’ve been wandering in the darkness, but now the light is here, and it blinds you. Your vision clears, and you see it. You see the trap closing right above your head, leaving you with no way to escape.

The situation with Vezriel’s sibling becomes troublesome. Because of your abilities, you learn more than you should know. But it gives you a chance to see Vezriel from a side they show to few demons.

A strange vision promises you misery, though you don’t know why or how. Is it connected to Os? You can only guess, though you don’t have much time for it as Os pulls you back into the high society and shows you how they deal with some matters.

Perhaps Laz would’ve preferred to keep you at a safe distance, but when trouble knocks on the door of their home, Laz can’t refuse your help with an important matter. If you want your payment in honesty, you might just get it this time.

You and Ashmedai both walk closer to something you would rather not remember. For you, it is a painful reminder; for them, it’s another stone added to the weight of their guilt. They’re not prepared to give their last, most painful ‘secret’ to your judgment, but they must.

Az seems so simple, but the more you learn about them, the less you understand them. They’ve opened their home for you—which you never expected to happen—and have shown you unprecedented trust, but you still can’t stop wondering about what they’re hiding from you.

A new hidden stat. It is an obvious one, so I’ll let you find it in the chapter. It’s not here to make or ruin your playthrough, so don’t fret about it and choose what is suitable for your Oracle! :) It’ll mostly give you additional flavor text depending on the other choices you make in the future.

There are lots of variables and branches at work, and I couldn’t go through all of them. So if you see something wanky, or a bug, or a double space line, or typos, or anything that sounds like it shouldn’t be in your specific playthrough/etc., please let me know! I’ve been waiting for this chapter (this and the next one) for so long. When I was coming up with ideas for this story, the last scene of this chapter was among the first things I wrote down. At last you can guess where I’m leading the Oracle and what their journey will look like. Their journey and their growth... or downfall. And you’ll be the one to decide what it is and what the Oracle thinks of it :)

♡ there's a streetlight in front of magnolia's best bakery. you're the one who suggests it as a meeting spot, not knowing of laxus' love for sweets. you tease him to no end but still slam down your hard-earned jewels to pay before he can. you're surprised he offered at all; the lightning dragon slayer isn't known for being chivalrous. he certainly doesn't act like a gentleman when he tells you not to interact with him in the guild hall.

I need you right now, once I leave you I'm strung out if I get you, I'm slowly breaking down

♡ after almost breaking your bed, he cleans you up and throws the blanket over both of you. you fall asleep in his arms, but you always wake up alone. you don't know why he insists on staying in the evening when you both know he'll abandon you before dawn, but when his arms wrap around you and the darkness fades away, you let yourself succumb to it. just one more time, then I'll definitely kick him out first, you convince yourself.

all this time I'm thinking, I'm strong enough to sink it oh, no, I don't need you, but I miss you, come here

♡ you never officially break it off with laxus. there's no yelling, no shouting, no argument that's become so characteristic of your conversations. only tense silence, until you turn your back on the man, walking back to the guild hall. going somewhere he can't follow. laxus doesn't see the tears spilling down your cheeks, but he notices your clenched fists and the way your shoulders shake as you march away.

♡ you replay all your conversations over a mug of ale in the guild hall. gentle glances when he thought you weren't looking; sharp glares when you arm wrestled with natsu and gray. soft touches along your spine in the dead of night; harsh words when you fight over something trivial. you wonder if it was worth it, if the ache in your chest will ever subside, but then you look at your guild mark and realize you know the answer. you let the alcohol burn your throat, pushing your feelings down, down, down.

well, it's safe to say now you can tell I miss you the most I'll step away now it'll make it harder to know

♡ laxus travels as far as he can, trying to get to a place so distant that there isn't even a whisper of fairy tail. he wants to forget everything, but the trinkets he picks up during his travel say otherwise. it gets to the point where they're weighing him down, and he jingles like that damned celestial wizard and her keys. the dragon slayer finally bites the bullet and enters a post office, hoping you haven't moved out of your shitty apartment.

we know how to push each other 'til we go insane so, we probably shouldn't do this

♡ you stare at your kitchen table, covered in random shit from the package that was at your doorstep. you dig through the bits and bobs, trying to figure out which idiot decided to send you their trash. but you notice that the objects aren't all that random, and you glare at the box as you pick it up, trying to find a return address. there isn't one, but you recognize the handwriting. you toss the shitty box and its shitty trinkets into a corner, but you don't throw it out.

but I know if I'm not with you then I might miss you, yeah, yeah

♡ the fact that laxus' new job has him trailing grimoire heart all the way to tenrou island has nerves pooling in his stomach. the thought of seeing everyone again (seeing you again) scares him. is there a chance he can come back?

all this time I'm thinking we could never be a pair oh, no, I don't need you, but I miss you, come here

♡ the s-class trials bring bittersweet memories to your mind, but you stomp them down, because you have a job to do as an s-class mage. if natsu and gray think it's easier to take you down than to defeat erza, they've got a storm coming. they certainly would've lost if a certain someone hadn't interrupted your fight. you wave them off, focused on the cloaked figure approaching you.

you're gonna say that you're sorry at the end of the night wake up in the morning, everything's alright

♡ you don't think you've ever heard laxus apologize. hell, you thought it was impossible. but here he is on his knees, looking up at you with a pained gaze and more emotion on his face than you've ever seen before. before you can think about it, you start yelling, finally letting out everything you hadn't been able to say when you'd last seen him. still, you're dropping to your knees and falling into his embrace, sobbing softly. maybe you can try again.

at the end of the story, you're holdin' me tight I don't need to worry, am I out of my mind?

Something something Transmigration Crossover AU something something Luo Binghe (Bingge) becomes consumed with the idea of looking through all parallel worlds and dimensions for a Shizun that can love him and take care of him but each world's Shizun either rejects him or is already with some other self that he deems far worse than himself. It gets to the point where he is so far gone that the "Forces Above" have to step in or else he might lead many worlds to the brink of destruction. He has become too overpowered, too insane that the only way to stop this madness is to regress his soul and nurture that it with care so that it doesnt go back to its past state. And in order to make this plan work, the "Forces Above" send out the professionals among professionals (really not but they are the only hope for binghe now) to deal with this son of a virus!

They have dark brown skin, long curly black hair, and black eyes with pale white flecks. Tall and of strong build, Vezriel cuts a robust but elegant figure, usually dressed in beautiful robes.

Vezriel’s only child and heir, O is their Chief Counselor, and they have a consistently good reputation. Their character reminds of their parent, though O is much more cold and reticent. Nothing seems to touch or shake their emotions, despite the known long list of ex-lovers. You don’t need their attention, but the circumstances have put you right under it. What will you make of this opportunity?

They have warm brown skin, long wavy black hair, and silver, almost white eyes. O is tall and strong, their expression impassive most of the time, which makes them rather intimidating and unapproachable to some demons.

L rose from the bottom of the ladder and made a name for themselves, though judging by old rumors, their clean background wasn’t always so clean. They’re charismatic and popular but keep others at a distance—everyone except their friends… and you. L treats you especially well, but you’re not foolish enough to blindly play their game. What do they want from you?

They have beige skin, short/medium-length wavy blond hair, and golden eyes. Many small and big scars can be seen on their hands. L is tall and has a strong build. Despite their high station, they seem friendly and laid-back.

✨ Ashmedai, the Royal Healer (f / m)

Ashmedai was sent to observe your condition after the incident and to help you with mind stability if needed. They performed their duties without showing any displeasure or impatience no matter how you behaved. Ash is secretive and reserved, and you guess their restrained temper is connected to the dark rumors surrounding them. Will they open up to you?

They have pale skin, long straight black hair, and bright red eyes. A large scar runs on the left side of their face, from their forehead along their eye and to their chin. Ash is tall and slender.

✨ Azarias / Azaria, the Royal Musician (m / f)

Ash’s younger sibling, Az somewhat resembles them in appearance, but their characters couldn’t be more different. Az is bold, humorous, and fickle. They know everyone—and everything about everyone—and enjoy a special favor from the Sovereign, which has allowed them to retain their place in the royal palace for many years. You’re concerned about their peculiar attention to you because there’s no reason for it—you two have never met before. Or… is there a reason after all?

They have pale skin, long white hair, and black eyes with narrow silver pupils. A tattoo of a snake with flowers curves around their neck. Az is tall and lean.

First Anniversary & New Free Stories

TAS is one year old! Wow!

This has been a wonderful year. I want to thank everyone for reading my story, commenting, and sharing it with others. I can't even describe how much I appreciate your interest and support. Before I published TAS, I couldn't imagine having so many amazing readers. There are already 2K followers here alone, which is a terrific number I can't comprehend.

Creating something I love, being able to share it with you, and meeting such a kind reception is like a blessing. Sometimes I just can't believe I've reached this point; it was so far away before, unreachable, unreal. You truly bring joy into my life and motivate me to continue writing. So thank you from the bottom of my heart 💛

This is also a personal achievement for me. Writing so much, so consistently. Knowing there are people who are waiting for new chapters definitely helps with that. Here's to an even more productive year! 🥂
