I woke up today all excited to write but by the time I got there it was so dang difficult. Spend maybe four hours only getting 2/3 of a BC post written and I'm not sure I like it. I worry that since I'm writing the dialogue for a bunch of interactions and like eating lunch chats it'll end up sounding like I'm writing 30 of the same characters *sighs* hopefully not, hopefully it'll just sound like my writing style. I think I'm still just recovering from the hectic week tbh, it was not good for my chronic fatigue.

rewatching with elsie and – something i noticed is that on this particular rewatch, my two least favorite episodes actually turned out ... kind of being my favorites! in terms of drama and how disturbing they were to me. ep three having the u.s. marshal's slow death is just really painful to watch. and jack not putting him out of his misery is just cruel. and in episode eight, sayid torturing the shit out of sawyer, everyone blaming him when they didn't even bother to truly ask about the inhaler? makes me so upset on his behalf!! and sawyer's antagonized and self-destructive so ofc he's going to play this role everyone's pushed on to him. idk, i just think these two specific incidents were so boring to me before but watching them in a new light with someone else really changed the way i view them. which is why i love watching this show with another person, bc i get to see other opinions and possibly even change some of my own! i thought sawyer's character was going to be a lot harder to swallow this entire first season, but he really kills it in episode eight. sayid was in my favs list but he kinda pissed me off doing that so ... not feeling too hot about him now.

currently, i think my favorite characters are : michael, sawyer, locke, charlie, hurley, shannon, and sun. i'm liking claire a lot here too! she's sweet. jack can go fuck himself for all i care and kate annoys me so <3 the whole A Team / B Team is just really a thing this season and it's so fun to watch how it grows and manifests. i'll have to touch upon that sometime. i absolutely cannot wait for my man ben, but i'm also excited for desmond !!!! juliet! miles!!! EKO!! so many fun characters we don't get to meet for a while. so, this rewatch is super fun and it's ... honestly the most fun i've had in a long time. that being said, i may make a little tag for it bc i already know i'll have more thoughts in the future lol. oh, yeah. and i've already cried like ... three times watching the first ten episodes. this show really gets me like no other.
