The first verse of The Parting Glass sung a cappella for @elodieunderglass :) Using my bass range for good (and a little bit of evil, if the role calls for it). Featuring a little bit of a growl on the low D if I'm honest.

What kind of sound are Theo's... noises... intended to be? Snorts? Mouth sounds? Choking sounds? Stuffy nose sounds? I feel like I imagine them as a different thing every time I read them lol

Almost all of the above, really! Nasally grunts, snorts, whines, growls, guttural noises that sound like he's clearing his throat or choking on his own air... Theo makes all manner of noises. Not on purpose.

His "noises" are unconscious vocalizations most of the time. They're akin to vocal tics. The utterances are louder, more pronounced and more frequent the more stressed he is. It takes quite a bit of effort and discomfort to suppress his noises once he feels the urge brewing (if he even catches it in time, because most of the time he isn't even fully aware that he's doing it). He does his utmost to keep them choked down, but to his embarrassment, some grunts and gags always slip through.

Also, often his laugh can sound like "a noise" since it can be more of a gargling wheeze than a proper expression of mirth. His smoking habit hasn't helped the, er, phlegminess of its sound.

A counterpoint to his common stress-sounds is his habit of making quiet humming noises when he's feeling contented and relaxed. He only does it when in exceedingly good spirits - so as you might imagine, he hasn't had much cause to hum in many years.

Day 3 of saying things that I like to see in bowuigi fics

Bowser and the koopalings wagging their tails or having any other animal like traits. I find it so cute when Bowser or any of the koopa kids wag their tails or chirp like a crocodile or Bowser having dragon like instincts or dog piles of koopalings the list goes on and on. Skippy’s been here for a little over three months! He’s a very fast learner, here’s a few things he’s learned how to do so far:

-eat food without being scared it’ll be taken away

-walk on a leash

-play fetch (his fav is the tennis ball)

-get the zoomies

-sit and shake for a treat

-go outside without being scared

-watch for people to get home

his favorite treats are: cucumber slices, red bell pepper strips, fresh raspberries/strawberries from the garden, salmon jerky & salmon skins from trader joe’s

Not romantic not platonic but a secret third thing (you’ve been trying to save him from himself throughout the entire play, but he’s tragically good at everything he does, and that includes being doomed by the narrative)

Do you think Ominis would feel different about being a parselmouth if he knew MC had a huge parseltongue kink? Like dirty talk but snakey talk?

Oh for sure, but I imagine he would be extremely conflicted about it.

On one hand he's always associated being a Parselmouth with Salazar Slytherin and his fucked up legacy, which he wants no part of. I remember he outright says in the Scriptorium that he "hasn't spoken it in ages" which is telling enough. But on the other hand, MC would be viewing it as something positive and completely unrelated to Salazar Slytherin which would make him draw pause. Then he would come to process why MC likes it, and he would have to hit pause again. Suddenly there's an upside to being able to speak to snakes, but I think he would still be self-conscious about it at first (understandably)

At the end of the day, I believe that Ominis being who he is means he would still dislike having such a prominent ability that ties him to Salazar's bloodline. He's too critical about his family to suddenly be okay with it. He would, however, be more open and willing to speaking Parseltongue with MC after getting their honest input and doing some reflection and contemplating of his own.

Indie TMNT Comic Dub - Episode 12

Episode 12 of Indie TMNT is UP!!!! :)

This one was a weeeeee bit complicated to record- ..Like, it took five separate recording sessions to get right. XD But I’m super happy with how it came out. :) The dialogue in this one was a delight to act out, and I had so much fun editing it. :) 

All credit for the art and comic goes to @indieyuugure, while I edited, and voice acted for the characters. Epidemic Sound covered the music and (MANY) sound effects! :)

I want to sleep in your bed in the sense that I want to be there, when you're sleeping, to just enjoy your presence and to guard and keep you safe from harm in the night, in the purest platonic form there could ever be.

I want to push my face up against your hands and lie in your lap as you hold me, because I cherish you so deeply. It feels like pain when we're apart, and comfort dawns when you're close. I can finally sleep and relax.

Humans can be wonderful and I know quite a few that I love dearly and deeply. And love comes in all forms that one could imagine.. even this love, the deep desire just to be close.
