f1_gossip According to reports, there is drama in the paddock! It all started when rumors came out of testimonies close to the couple where Aurora (Charles' new girlfriend) has imposed ''rules'' in her relationship with the driver!
"First, Aurora wanted him to cut ties with all of his exes, especially with the female driver, with whom he is still very close", Let's remember that Leclerc and Y/LN dated for almost 3 and a half years but they separated and they remained on friendly terms, before this they had been friends since childhood and the model ''did not like that'', they tell us.

So I have idea. All the captains. Hide and seek. Who wins? Who loses? Who gives up? Who tries their hardest and who doesn't care? Also please add Julius 🥺 the suspense is killing me! You don't have to add all the captions if you don't want to! The choice is all yours. Thanks for your time awesome writer!!💗
A spectacular idea, I must admit. Again, I didn't add Kaiser just because we don't know anything about him. Enjoy!! 💞
Hide and Seek with the Toughest Knights
// Yami Sukehiro
Overall just didn't care. He'd rather be taking a dump
7th place. He hid in the bathroom. And everyone could hear that too.
// William Vangeance
William saw it as an interesting bonding activity for all of them.
Received 5th place.
// Jack the Ripper
Got 8th place. He cares about winning or losing
But he just couldn't resist the urge to slice a plant pot in half.
// Rill Boismortier
He found it exciting! So exciting that he couldn't muffle his own giggles the whole time.
Though the other captains decided to play nice and he got 6th place. So... Not bad.
// Dorothy Unsworth
Let's say she's awake in this very moment and she sort of cares.
4th place. They never said she couldn't use her glamour world.
// Charlotte Roselei
She doesn't care and sees it as a silly game.
So she didn't even participate. Last place.
// Fuegoleon Vermillion
He sees it as a challenge and therefore it matters!
In 2nd place. He managed to keep himself clawed onto the ceiling.
// Nozel Silva
Also sees is as a silly game. Although as soon as he saw Fuegoleon join, he did as well.
Ended up getting 1st place?? The guy has his tactics, man.
// Julius Novachrono
Come on! He's tiny! He used this to his advantage and hid in a barrel.
Got 3rd place and was extremely proud of himself.

I’ve spent the past few weeks getting fed up of the BRF’s approach to the Covid-19 pandemic, especially because, with the exception of Sophie and Eugenie, literally no one has done anything related to it. Because I literally only care about Kate, this is what I would have planned for Kate to do during this pandemic, if I was her Private Secretary:
Post photos of her in her home office every few days. She doesn’t even have to do anything. She literally could just sit there for a photo op and post of photo of her in a blazer or dress on KP’s instagram with a caption like, “We’re thinking of everyone working from home. Today, the Duchess of Cambridge spent time working in her home office, before spending the afternoon helping her children with their home learning.”
Release a ‘Clap for our Carers’ video every week. They started so well with the Cambridge Cuties. Post it again. Have George and Charlotte sat on the sofa clapping. Put up a picture of rainbows the children have made. Have a photo of Kate helping Louis put a rainbow photo in the window.
Send letters to her patronages. Like she’s done for Action on Addiction, send a simple one page letter, saying she knows the stress they are under, thanking them for their work, saying she can’t wait to support them in the future.
Follow those letters up with a phone call to the patroange. It could be to the CEO, to the head of Fundraising, to the people on the floor, it doesn’t really matter. Just show support and ask how she can help.
If her patronages are doing anything to support people during the pandemic, promote this. On the AoA website, it says “Action on Addiction is building a series of articles to support people in recovery or living with addiction during the coronavirus outbreak” - link to these when they are ready.
She is the patron of NursingNow2020. It is 2020. There is a healthcare pandemic. She could do video calls with nurses and nursing leaders. She could donate money to an NHS charity. She could donate money to a charity funding PPE for frontline healthcare.
She, along with other royals/celebrities, could auction of something for the NHS. It could be an old dress or hat or a favourite book or something? Something that would be personal and would help raise money in a public way.
The Royal Foundation could commit to funding the creation of PPE over the next 2-3 months (for an example). Later on, her and William could visit one of the PPE factories in appropriate safety clothes and spend a day packaging PPE.
Remember those cards Kate did for her gardens? Time to get them out again! KP could post them on their instagram story along with a message from Kate suggesting people try to spend time in their garden or try to find some greenery on their daily walk. She could link this to positive mental health. She could even mention people who are unable to do this possibly needing extra support.
After the lockdown, she should do some work about making green spaces in urban areas. She could build some urban gardens or do work with vegetable and plant growing around inner city schools.
Mental health is her THING. She should promote Shout on the KP social media accounts and maybe show some behind the scenes photos from the work that went into creating Shout. She could also link to other crisis numbers. With the support of her patronages, she could release a list of techniques for calming or grounding to help people who are struggling mentally.
I know this is a tricky issue, but she could do something about the lack of mental health services. Because of lockdown, therapy sessions etc. have been cancelled and she could support some online therapy groups or promote some sensible techniques people could use (simple things like creating a regular schedule).
I’d do more work with schools. The children of Key Workers video was a brilliant idea. Do more of those. Write letters to schools and ask children what they’re doing. Suggest things children could do at home - educational and recreational. She could support parents who are working from home and having to educate their children - she could post of photo of her children sat at the table doing some handwriting and talk about how tricky it is, which means it must be even harder for most people. Give them resources.
Could she do something around delivering food to vulnerable people? I think it’s unlikely she could physically do it but could she support delivery drivers or redeploy her staff?
I don’t know if any of these would work but I just think I should be Kate’s private secretary and this is my application, please hire me KP

the art of flirting on a hover board pt. 2
Ivy runs a successful arts non-profit and Joe tags along when Rami and Lucy go to visit her. But what happens when a simple bet made over a hover board competition gets out of hand?
Pairing: Joe Mazzello x Ivy (OC)
Rating: Rated S for Stupidity (we love friends who share one (1) collective brain cell.
Warnings: None!
Here’s part two! I hope you all love it!
Part 1
Any comments, notes, love, hate WHATEVER you got for this, let me know!
Reblogs and feedback are much appreciated bc I crave validation!!!!!
"So then, I'm up there, I'm telling them my story, pleading with them to realize that the arts matter and that's when I see Charlotte off to the side frantically trying to tell me my dress had come open and my whole bra was out."
Rami bursted out laughing, Lucy let out a gasp and Joe clapped his hands in mirth as Ivy shook her head at her own bad luck, "I swear, it was the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me."
Ivy's fingers worked to secure the rope they had found around the axle of the skateboard. Joe couldn't stop thinking about her hands and what they would look like doing other activities.
Like, holding his hand.
Or wrapped around his dick.
Either one was fine. He wasn't a picky man.
"So what did you do? I mean, how do you even recover from that?" Lucy wondered aloud, as Joe shook himself from his thoughts and went to take a drink from the beer Ivy had distributed to them all.
Ivy shrugged as she sat back on her heels and brought her own beer bottle to her lips, "Well, we got the most donations we've ever received so at this point I'm considering just doing a strip routine to get more money." Joe started choking on the drink he had just swallowed as the image of Ivy stripping crowded into his mind to take up permanent residence.
Rami whacked him on the back.
Ivy's eyes flicked up to meet Joe's as her eyebrow quirked up in a silent ask of You good? Joe nodded and flapped his hand around in the universal gesture of, Keep going, don't mind me dying.
"I mean, everyone still teases me about it but I make jokes about it more than anyone else. You just laugh at yourself. Make a few memes, bing, bang, boom. It was over and I still got those old geezer's money so I'm not super upset. And besides, what's a few memes in the grand scheme of things?" She inquired as she stood up, wiping her hands off on the backs of her shorts as she looked right up into Joe's eyes and smiled.
"You okay?"
"I'm fine and besides, I couldn't have died without seeing some of those memes that you just talked about. I mean, you can't leave us hanging in suspense like that." Joe retorted as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Ivy's eyes flicked down to his biceps even as her brain kept repeating over and over "don't look at his arms, don't look at his arms" and mentally cursed herself for being so weak. She felt her cheeks heating up as she realized Joe had DEFINITELY tracked her eye movements. He quirked an eyebrow at her as she tried to salvage whatever of her pride remained,
"I'm pretty sure Gracie has one of them framed and hung up in her office, I'll show you." Okay, not a great save of the ole pride but memes are better than blatant thirst she thought as she smiled at him and watched a matching smile grow across Joe's face.
The moment between them stretched on as Lucy's gaze bounced between the two and tried to subtly let Rami know that he should keep his mouth shut so he didn't ruin the moment.
Rami, however, missed these cues and kept looking back and forth between the two, feeling very much like something had just happened that he was not meant to be a part of. His mouth opened when he felt Lucy, who realized subtlety is overrated, stomp on his foot.
"OW."
Joe and Ivy's gaze was ripped apart as they both glanced at Rami who was glaring at Lucy who had widened her eyes to max capacity and was suddenly very invested in the molding around the ceiling.
"Sorry, I, uh, bit my tongue." Rami offered weakly as Ivy cocked an eyebrow in disbelief.
"So. Anyway. Yeah. That's about as exciting as my life has been the past few months. Some performances, writing songs, running the business, the usual." Ivy said nonchalantly as if running a successful non-profit was just another boring life event, like visiting the DMV.
Ivy suddenly whipped around to Rami as she dramatically pronounced, "But what about YOU Mister 'I'm an Oscar winning actor' like what the FUCK?" as her eyes bugged out and her fist collided against Rami's shoulder.
Rami rubbed the sore spot as Joe barked out a laugh. Rami narrowed his eyes at Joe as he held up his hands defensively, "Sorry man, it was really funny." His eyes slid over to Ivy's where she met them with a smile.
Fuck, he would never get tired of that smile.
"So, are we testing this thing or what? Because I believe she's ready for her maiden voyage." Ivy declared as she tugged on the length of jump rope one more time to test its tautness.
"Yeah, my life is FINE, thank you for asking. And so is my SHOULDER." Rami announced to no one in particular.
"Oh I'm sure you're fine but if you're so hurt maybe you shouldn't ride this-"
Rami pointed a finger at Lucy, "Don't you keep me from doing this. I've waited so long to get here. Do NOT take this away from me."
Lucy held up her hands in surrender as Joe and Ivy snickered.
"SO." Rami rubbed his hands together as absolute glee washed over his face, "Lucy and I try it first? Then you and Joe?"
Ivy looked at Joe who looked back at Ivy, "Hell yeah. The dream team here is going to CRUSH it." Joe held up his hand for a high five and Ivy smiled as she slapped her palm against Joe's.
She wrapped her fingers around his hand and held on as she turned to Rami, 'This originally wasn't a competition but we're going to kick your ass."
"Oh it's so on. Let's make this interesting."
"Name your terms Malek." Ivy said.
Joe was doing his best not to move so Ivy wouldn't let go of his hand and Lucy was practically quivering with suppressed excitement.
Ivy was very aware that she was still holding onto Joe's hand but really didn't want to let go as she realized how long it had been since she had held hands with someone who actually gave her butterflies and not grabbing onto Gracie or Ava's hand when she saw a particularly stunning picture of Harry Styles.
Rami was lost in thought as he tried to think what would be the worst thing he could do to Ivy if she lost this arbitrary competition.
"Hmm. Okay. Got it. If whoever's on the hover board can stay on longer than either Lucy or I can, then you get to post whatever picture you want on my Instagram with whatever caption you want."
Ivy's eyes lit up like a Broadway marquee at the idea of using Rami's rarely used Instagram to post one of the many embarrassing throwback photos she had of him.
"Alright Malek, but if we lose, which we won't," she squeezed Joe's hand again to emphasize her point and Joe prayed his hands weren't too sweaty, "what do you get out of this?"
"I get to schedule a date for you with whatever guy I choose."
Joe had never seen a human lose all color in their visage so quickly as he did when Ivy heard Rami's terms.
"No."
"Yes."
"Rami, no! That's my personal life! You can't go messing around in other people's lives!"
"Oh, so giving you access to my Instagram account is what exactly?"
Ivy made some various noises that almost sounded like words and finally sighed, "Fine. I agree to the terms." She let go of Joe's hand as she wheeled around to face him, "We have to fucking win."
"Well, we better. I have some absolutely delicious behind the scene photos of him that need to see the light of day."
~~~
"Ready?"
Ivy whacked the side of her helmet and shot Joe a thumbs up as she prepared to lift her other foot onto the hover board.
Rami and Lucy stood off to the side, red-faced and sweaty after having raced down the path they had decided on and back.
They had walked to a park that was close to the organization. Rami and Ivy had argued over a path for five minutes, and would have gone on all day but Lucy stepped in to say if she wanted to listen to an old married couple arguing she could just listen to Joe and Ben talk. Once the path had been declared, Rami and Lucy had gone first.
Rami's screams, as Lucy took off like a shot once she got her balance on the bike, had caused every dog in a three mile radius to start barking. They had made it halfway when Rami got overexcited and his cheering caused him to fall over.
Which then caused both Ivy and Joe to sing simultaneously, "Another one bites the dust" which then caused Lucy to run the bike into a tree because she was laughing so hard.
Needless to say, Ivy and Joe were both feeling confident about their abilities.
Joe gave Ivy a grave salute, "If this is our last time serving together, I just want to say, it's been an honor."
Ivy gave a stoic nod back, "Likewise, sir."
Joe faced forward and took a deep breath as Rami and Lucy counted down,
"FIVE"
Ivy wiped her hands on her shorts.
"FOUR"
Joe cracked his neck.
"THREE"
Ivy sent up a call to the universe to not let her fail.
"TWO"
Joe sent out a silent prayer that he wouldn't be the reason Ivy broke a bone.
"ONE"
Joe's legs tensed and Ivy stepped up onto the hover board.
"GO"
Joe took off like a shot and Ivy's arm that wasn't holding onto the rope pinwheeled as she desperately tried to keep her balance. She was all of a sudden overwhelmed by a memory of trying to surf and falling more times than she could count.
Not the best time to be thinking of that she thought as she used her core in ways she never would have thought to use it.
Joe kept his focus on the path in front of him. He didn't dare look back for fear he would lose focus and cause Ivy to fall off.
Ivy was starting to feel more stable when all of a sudden she felt much lighter, the sky seemed much closer and her feet were no longer attached to the hover board by gravity.
She landed with a "FUCK" and a thud that had Rami and Lucy freezing for just a second before racing over to her.
Joe heard Ivy swear and realized the bike seemed much lighter. He risked a glance behind and saw a heap on the ground and an empty hover board. He was off the bike before it even stopped the whole way.
"No, no, no, no, fuck! Ivy, are you okay?" Joe cried as he reached Ivy as Rami helped her up into a seated position and Lucy was feeling her arms for broken bones.
Ivy groggily looked up at Joe, "'m okay. Must have hit a hole. Not your fault."
Joe reached up and gently unclipped the helmet from her head, "Well, at least you were wearing your helmet. Safety is key when doing stupid stuff."
"Safety and stupidity notoriously go hand in hand" Ivy offered him a weak smile as Joe smiled warmly down at her.
"Well, I don't think you have any broken bones in your arms." Lucy reported.
"Do you think you can stand?" Rami asked as he looked at Ivy with concern.
Ivy nodded and took the arm Rami offered her to pull herself up. She gingerly put weight on one leg, then the other and when neither buckled or felt like anything was severely wrong, gave a soft thumbs up.
Joe let out a giant breath, "Thank god."
"I'm so glad you're okay." Rami said as he wrapped an arm around Ivy's shoulders and pulled her into his side.
"Thanks Rami, me too." Ivy murmured as she laid her head on his shoulder.
"And since you're okay, I don't feel guilty for doing this." Rami said as he took a deep breath in, pointed at Ivy and Joe and yelled, "WE WON. IN YOUR FACE." Rami grabbed Lucy and spun her around as she laughed.
Joe rolled his eyes and Ivy groaned, "Sorry I bit it super hard and let down the team." She bit her lip and kept her eyes glued to the ground.
"Hey, no. Ivy. It's no big deal. I'm just glad you're alright." Joe said. He leaned forward and back as he contemplated whether he should hug her or not. Ivy made the decision for him as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
'Thank you" she whispered as Joe hesitantly wrapped his arms around her waist and tried not to breathe in her perfume too deeply. He wanted to remember every detail of this moment.
How her body felt pressed against his.
How her arms felt around his neck.
How she smelled. How warm she was.
How he never wanted to let her go.
"IVY. You better get ready for your date!" Joe and Ivy's eyes snapped open as they remembered what the consequence of losing was.
A soft chorus of "fuck", as if from a profane angelic chorus, was heard from their embrace as Lucy and Rami continued celebrating.
Twitter: 8,900
Facebook: 800 +
Pinterest: 10,300 +
Of all of the blogging regrets that I have, my lack of knowledge when developing my blog and hesitation when setting up my social media accounts are the biggest. Why?
My social media is now responsible for HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of referrals of my total views.
The problem with social media is that (during the initial set-up months in particular) it can incredibly time consuming, even when using schedulers. Posting a blog post now doesn’t just involve pressing the publish button – I think about keywords and SEO, create a pinnable image for Pinterest and then pin it, tweet it using specific hashtags, share it on Flipboard and then share it again into specific Facebook groups. How, when and where I share it will depend on the specific day and time so that they get the maximum audience.
And that’s just the beginning. I have created interesting Pinterest boards that fit within the themes that I cover, along with a successful group board, and participate in link-ups (even starting my own which is now the biggest blog sharing hashtag on Twitter at the weekends) and various Twitter chats. I share high quality pins and tweet interesting posts from others. I follow a daily checklist to make sure that I don’t forget anything.
Sound exhausting? Don’t even know where to start? Don’t have the time?
What if someone could do that FOR YOU?
Social Media Management Packages
I can set up and manage your Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter, or create a package to suit any combination of these, and you won’t have to do anything!
This is what I can offer for the full-package price of £140 for the month
Optimised profile description
Daily tweeting with relevant hashtags
Want to focus on just a single area of social media? I also charge separate prices for individual social media plans for the month:
Here’s what just some of my clients had to say about my advertising and social media management services…
If you’re an author or blogger who wants to grow their stats, if you’re busy and struggling to manage your social media, or perhaps you just want to focus on something else, then Suzie’s your gal. There are few people I’ve met online that are as shrewd, talented and social media savvy as Suzie. In my first month I saw my follower growth (per month) quadruple compared to my efforts the previous month, and my referrals from Pinterest saw a 90% increase on the previous month. As far as I’m concerned Suzie takes growth hacking to the next level. But one of the things I love most about working with her, is that I don’t have to do a thing. I sit back, concentrate on writing and she takes care of Twitter and Pinterest. I genuinely cannot recommend working with Suzie more … Sacha Black
As an independent author, having a presence online is vital. I’ve learned that by employing the services of Suzie Speaks I have been able to market my site, attract a wider audience and sell more books without spending hours campaigning. Shelley Wilson, Motivate Me Now
She is very skilled at what she does and has helped me significantly grow both my Twitter and Pinterest followers. Because of her efforts, 50% of my blog views now come from Pinterest vs 0 when I started working with her – Ana, Project Life Wellness
My Pinterest views went from 104 page views to 1263… Suzie has given me great ideas to implement for both platforms and is in touch with the current news of social media – Tiffany, A Girl and Her Passport
I have used Suzie’s services to help widen the reach of my blog, Love, Laughter & Truth. I have been very pleased with the response to Suzie’s work and she really does have so much expertise around blogging and using social media to reach a wider audience. Just as importantly Suzie is an absolute pleasure to work with – friendly, professional and gets the job done efficiently and effectively. I couldn’t recommend her services highly enough. Thank you, Suzie! – Matt – Love, Laughter and Truth
My followers on Pinterest have gone from 3 to 3200 and I receive hundreds of views a month which is pretty amazing, plus I’ve met some great new bloggers, which has been a nice bonus – Helen, Journey to Ambeth
I was a new-ish blogger and rebranding my blog when I started working with Suzie. It was invaluable to have an experienced blogger available to help me through the complicated process. Suzie helped ensure all my social media branding was consistent and patiently answered my endless questions. She helped me get started on Canva, work more effectively on Pinterest and showed me the value (and enjoyment) of interacting with other bloggers through Facebook Groups and Twitter chats. A month or so after working with Suzie my stats had trebled – so I was well chuffed! I’d recommend working with Suzie to any blogger out there looking for some help in getting their blog up and running or revamped. In my book, she’s a star! Jill – Midlife Smarts
Suzie has managed areas of my social media for a while now and is extremely dependable in her support and guidance. Her organisation and management has enabled my blog to be a constant presence in the social media world and I have seen very positive and consistent results. I would highly recommend Suzie as a Social Media Manager. Donna – Jot to Jot
I worked with Suzie for one month while I was building my business. She managed my Pinterest and Twitter accounts and not only did she completely take on full responsibility for both of those, so also massively increased engagement. I got a lot more exposure on Pinterest which is now converting into much more web traffic, as with Twitter. I got to connect with a lot of people in my line of work in Twitter thanks to Suzie tweeting almost daily on my behalf. She also got me added to a lot of Pinterest group boards, optimised my profile and made me look so much more professional on both platforms. She made ten graphics for my blog posts and a couple of landing pages which got great engagement on both platforms and I’m continually repinning them. They’re still converting into web traffic thanks to her great copy. I’d love to work with Suzie again in the future. She’s very friendly and always responds to my messages, no matter how busy she is. I can’t recommend her services enough to busy professionals who need someone to take on that big part of maintaining a business and helping you to grow online. Charlotte – Charlotte Produces
Lights Down Low
Xmas Charlynch + baby fic to fill our hearts, because this divorce has been hard on all of us. Disclaimer: English is not my first language so sorry for any mistakes.
It was nearly two in the morning by the time Charlotte was done with work, it was a week before Christmas and they had a live show plus they were tapping the show for the following week, Charlotte had missed a couple of shows but she couldn’t delay the inevitable any longer, having been back to work for a month was really taking a toll on her, the only good thing was that WWE executives were being nice enough to let them have Christmas off this year. And listen, Charlotte loved her job, she enjoyed going getting in the ring, the interviews, the traveling, but there are time where she really just wants time off to spend with her friends and family, normally she’d be down for a couple of days but then get over it, but not this year, no, this year she was full on looking at the clock every 5 minutes, her phone never leaving her side, rushing every backstage segment they needed to shoot, because she needed to get home asap.
The one good thing about tonight was that the show had been in North Carolina, which meant she would be able to go straight to her home, no hotel, no facetime calls, no loneliness. Exhausted and already feeling the telltale signs of her body aching, she walked up the snowy stairs of their two story house and made her way inside. Walking in she removed her coat, scarf and shoes, leaving her keys on a side table near the door.
The lights from the tree flickering reflections on the glass window and door to their backyard,
she dumped her bag near the stairs and walked into their living room, Charlotte let out a breath she had been holding all day upon observing the sight that welcomed her home, which was her favorite sight in the whole word. There in their dark blue couch, lay her wife, Becky, fast asleep, wearing a pair of plaid pajama pants, fluffy socks and, of course, an old 2nd nature t-shirt, the blonde cant help the growing smile on her face, Becky looked softer,at peace, sometimes she can't believe the red head chose her, but somehow she did and Charlotte couldn't be more thankful.
This is not their first Christmas together, but it was probably the most special, and it was all thanks to the tiny blue bundle laying on Becky’s chest, a pair of hands holding in a tiny fist her mother’s shirt, her head sporting a small blue beanie resting on the redhead’s chest, rising with every breath her mother took. Her mother’s hands holding onto her protectively. And this is exactly what she needed after a month of being apart from her wife and newborn baby.
Charlotte had a permanent smile in her face now, taking out her phone she snapped like a thousand pictures, sharing one on Instagram of course with the caption “Home for Christmas #TheyAreMyHome” putting her phone away, she kneeled besides the couch, gently kissing Becky’s forehead, slowly caressing her face walking her from her slumber.
“Becks, my love, wake up, it's time to go bed.”
Becky’s eyes slowly fluttered open “Charlie?” she asked still trying to wake up fully.
“Yes, baby, come on, let's get to bed, you know your back will suffer if you don’t”
Becky’s eyes fully opened now, the spark and warmth in them that Charlotte loved so much still there and probably more intense after their beautiful baby,Grace, was born.
“We were waiting for you to get home, even ordered from your favorite takeout place an everything” said the redhead with a smile “We thought we could have dinner with you right by the fireplace” she continued gently lifting the baby in to Charlotte’s arms. The blonde gave a small kiss to Grace’s forehead and followed by giving her wife a heartfelt kiss on the lips.
“Oh? and who’s idea was it?” the blonde ask with a grin.
“Well, Grace’s of course, she missed her mother too much” Becky leaned closer to Charlotte to give her another kiss before pulling away, and leading all three of them, up the stairs and into their bedroom. Becky washing her face and teeth, before taking the baby from Charlotte to take her to her crib, whilst the blonde changed into her pajamas and brushed her teeth.
After Charlotte finished she catch up with Becky on their infant's room, slowing leaning in to press her lips to Grace’s forehead once more, “Sleep well, Gracie, I love you”
Once both Charlotte and Becky were settled in their bed, the redhead laying in the blonde’s chest as soon as her wife was settled besides her on the bed. “Comfy?” Charlotte asked wrapping her arms around Becky.
“Yes, I missed my pillow, you know I can't sleep well without it” The redhead responded, pressing her lips to Charlotte’s collarbone.
“I know, but I’m here now” Charlotte then looked down at Becky “I love you so much you know? and I’m so thankful for you giving me Grace, giving us a family, you deserve the world my love” The blonde’s voice was breaking, eyes getting misty.
The redhead wasn't far behind, looking straight into Charlotte’s eyes, she responded “I already have it, love, with you and Grace, you guys are my world”
And if Charlotte needed to wake up at the crack of dawn to feed a warm bottle to a crying baby despite how little sleep she’s gotten, well… she really didn't mind.
charlottesands: “Love And Other Lies” EP is OUT NOW !!!! i have so much to say and I have no idea how to fit it into a caption but I want you to know how deeply grateful I am to be able to make music, release it, and perform it full time. I am so proud of these songs, I am so proud to get to create them with my best friends, and I am so incredibly proud of the team I have around me that works 24 hours a day to make this dream possible. I hope these songs help normalize emotions that we all feel or have felt and I hope they bring you comfort in a time where it feels almost impossible. The voicemail from the beginning of LAOL is actually from my mom the day I found out bonnaroo was cancelled and I refused to talk to anyone on the phone because I was crying so much and for the first time in my life felt overwhelmingly hopeless. moms really do know best though because 2 days later I was opening for my favorite band on my dream tour and here I am today releasing songs that I never thought I’d be able to write with people I couldn’t have imagined being in a room with. So thank you from the bottom of my heart, I am so glad we found each other and I wish I could hug every single one of you a million times. Stream it and scream it babyy I love u forever and I’ll see you soon ON TOUR !!?AHHHHHH WHAT THE FUCKK 🖤🖤🖤
Youtuber AU Headcanons
(Lowkey inspired by a post by @whizzerbrowne who brought the idea to my attention and it has since dominated my brain). Let’s just get started:
(This got way too long, yikes. I had to include a read more line)
~ Three Youtubers: Jason, Cordelia, and Whizzer.
Jason
Type: He’s one of those younger, newer youtubers. He started when he was nine, and he talked frankly about stuff like divorce (bc his parents were going through a divorce at the time) and being an introvert and being autistic and being Jewish and dealing with a difficult relationship with his parents. He has trouble really talking to people so it was like really easy to just sit in front of a camera and start talking at them. Side note: this was totally Mendel’s idea as a therapy exercise that actually worked, okay? And (as we’ve seen in the musical), Jason has this raw honesty and wit to him that is very funny and real to watch. As he’s gotten older, he’s started talking about other things - like not such heavy topics. He talks about the things that he’s hyperfixated on (baseball, chess, the emoji movie, etc), and though his content is pretty erratic and all over the place, people just love his commentary and he’s amassed millions of followers in just a few years??
He also vlogs /a lot/, which is how his audience got to know Trina, Mendel, and Marvin.
Trina - Everyone literally adores her. She is v nervous and awkward in her cameos in Jason’s videos, but she is also very honest and vocal about her opinions and calls herself the Cool Mom even though Jason’s like “Mom, you don’t let me stay up past ten even when it’s not a school night” and Trina’s just “A Cool Mom can’t still care about your healthy and well-being??”
Mendel - As a one-off, Jason asked his followers to submit questions to Mendel the Psychiatrist for a collab idea with his stepdad, and his pieces of advice were kinda off the wall and funny and it quickly became a series and one of Jason’s most popular series ever. Some people are convinced Mendel is just playing a character so Jason has to be like “no he is actually like this. You have to believe me.” Also: Mendel gets a snapchat that everyone follows. He uploads grainy pictures of like trees and makes puns and constantly spams his story with pictures of Trina with captions like “look at how pretty she is” and “how did i get so lucky” and “rare photo of an actual goddess.”
Marvin - Tbh, the audience’s reaction to Marvin is a little more mixed, esp at first. Jason had talked a lot about his difficult relationship with Marvin and his “Draw My Life” video did stir up some contempt for Marvin’s selfishness. But like, over the years and through small snippets of cameos, it is generally believed that Marvin has changed and grown up a lot and is like an amazing (but dorky) dad. His cameos in Jason’s videos are the best bc it shows how eerily alike those two are and at one point Marvin briefly talks about internalized homophobia and toxic masculinity and hints at the stuff that he is’t proud of, and everyone - no matter their outward opinion of him - has like a little crush on him. Also, the videos with Marvin and Mendel both?? Their petty arguing gets like millions of hits every time.
Jason also totally does all the trend/tag videos but also has like that sarcastic, almost ironic vibe at first but he ends up really sincerely liking it.
Jason also does like monologues of his thoughts and opinions while also doing mini skits in between and he is iconic and a jack of all trades really.
He is very articulate and seems so mature but like any hate whatsoever does get to him a lot. He’s learned how to deal with his self-doubt and ignoring the trolls better than he had when he first started, but every once in awhile it still gets to him.
Also??? Remember that Roast Yourself Challenge trend??? Jason did that, and it was on the top page for like a solid week. He went too hard and too real.
Cordelia
Type: Totally like Hannah Hart’s Drunk Kitchen, are you even kidding me?? That it totally Cordelia. She drinks and talks about current events and makes really bad food puns and it is Everything. She also branches out after awhile and starts doing like satirical how-to videos. Lowkey once she tried to make a wry, parody version of a beauty vlogger how-to and she ended up having so much fun with it and her after make-up looked ballin, so she starts doing make-up tutorials, too.
She’s also very very proudly gay and out. Like, her username is literally lesbiancaterer. But she still gets like comments on her videos saying “are you straight?” or “her boyfriend must be a lucky guy” and it just makes her go “????? How could I ever make this clearer?” (once, in a collab with Marvin, one comment said “ahh, her and her bf are such #relationship goals” which then launched a very satirical, very deadpan boyfriend tag video with her and Marvin that made it abundantly clear just how fucking gay those two are).
Charotte first got introduced very very early in her videos bc once during a drunk kitchen, Cordelia cut her finger with a knife and called for her girlfriend and Charlotte went into complete Doctor Mode and started treating her immediately. Cordelia is a little tipsy at that point and starts blatantly flirting with her and calling her “my doctor” and that video’s comment section is just keysmashing and the phrase “my doctor.”
Cordelia does not try to hide her relationship in any way. She and Charlotte have done all those cute couples tags and Charlotte is the star of Cordelia’s social media and vlogs. Now they are #relationship goals.
Cordelia actually got into Youtube bc of Jason and everyone was like lowkey shocked when it turned out that these two popular but different youtubers knew each other and cameo in one another’s videos a lot and Cordelia is like “he is literally my godson, guys. Ofc I’m gonna be around him and support him.”
Whizzer
Type: Ohhh boy!! Whizzer is def the kind of youtuber that has been around on the platform since circa 2007 - are you even gonna try to fight me on that??? He is a fashion channel (also has like a series of the youtube version of fashion police) but also like a major storytime channel bc he’s been around and tells the craziest but realest stories of all time. He is also quickly considered The Gay Icon^tm of Youtube.
He is definitely one of the biggest youtubers on the platform but he also lowkey feels too old to still be on here and has that like Shane Dawson kinda feel of like keeping it real about youtube drama and rebranding himself and learning from stupid old videos when he was still like a shit 20-something that was lowkey problematic.
He stans so hard for Britney Spears and Carly Rae Jepsen and he got Carly in one of his collabs and he could not stop smiling and fangirling and he is literally all of us.
He is very, very vocal and honest about his sexuality and sexual history. He has a lot of Body and Sex Positivity videos and speaks very bluntly about the importance of self-esteem and body image and safe sex.
(One of his most popular videos is the one with him candidly speaking about having HIV and he talks about his mistake with unsafe sex and all the terrible stigmas around the topic. He talks about how it’s both a physical and emotional struggle, and he also talks about treatment and awareness and prevention and seeking emotional help to combat depression).
He arranges a collab with Jason bc they are alike in that they always speak candidly about issues and struggles and have like the exact same sense of dry, almost scathing humor. Whizzer meets Marvin bc Marvin is like “Jason, there is no way you’re meeting a strange man who you met over the internet. I am definitely going to be the one that goes with you.”
(Awkward moment when Marvin and Jason get to Whizzer’s apartment, and Marvin and Whizzer’s profiles light up with one another from one of those websites like Grindr). Whizzer has like lowkey commented on Jason’s videos before with lewd comments about his hot dad, but like this is so not what Whizzer had been expecting?? Yeah, at the end of Whizzer and Jason’s collab video, Whizzer puts like a small blooper reel and it’s him continually flirting with Jason’s dad (who’s behind the camera) and the Internet suddenly has a new fave ship.
(Marvin and Whizzer totally messaged each other and hooked up like the next day).
But like, they keep the budding relationship very underwraps bc they both really don’t want it to affect Jason’s channel and neither really think at first that their whole arrangement will go anywhere close to serious because Whizzer has never been in love or had a steady boyfriend and Marvin cannot hold a relationship either even after his divorce.
But of course they fall in love, and of course the internet knows something’s up. Whizzer keeps vaguing on Twitter about the new man in his life with weird tweets like “I can’t believe I’m deliberately sleeping with a man who UNIRONICALLY knows every word to Allstar” and “get you a man who always sends that courtesy ‘thank you.’ text after you send him a dick pic.” And when Whizzer vlogs, he always makes sure to keep the camera trained on himself but you can see that his eyes are always looking away as he’s like smiling at someone who does not want to be on camera. Also, Jason’s weekend vlogs have cameos of Whizzer in them now.
They mess up when in one of aforementioned Jason’s vlogs, there’s a grainy clip of Marvin and Whizzer in the background and Marvin kisses Whizzer’s cheek. The internet loses their minds
(After nine/ten months of dating, Whizzer and Marvin abruptly break up and neither really acknowledges it. However, weeks after their break up, Whizzer decides to make a story-time video about this fucking asshole boyfriend that broke up with him over a chess game. He wanted it to be like both petty but also very funny because that is such a ridiculous story, but like when he’s editing it, he notices himself being like on the verge of tears in some parts and being overly bitter and tense, and he never uploads it and he realizes that he isn’t over Marvin like he had said he was).
(However, Whizzer does end up making a story-time video later about how Jason’s baseball game brought him and Marvin back together).
After they get back together, they’ve worked out their issues and are couples goals now and they do not hide their relationship and Marvin makes cameos in both Whizzer and Jason’s videos/younows and it is incredible.
Through Jason and Marvin, Whizzer and Cordelia meet and they become best friends. They collab all the time and they complain about queer struggles and they talk about their relationships and get drunk on camera and be weird, loud idiots and those videos get tons of views.
And Whizzer gets candid about how he’s always felt like alone in the world and hasn’t really had the opportunity to rely on anyone but himself but through Jason and Marvin, he meets Cordelia and Charlotte and Mendel and Trina, and even though they might not get along all the time and some people are closer to other people, they’re all his family and he never thought that he’d really have one that close before. It’s one of his most vulnerable videos.
The most successful videos on all three’s channels are the collabs of the three of them together: Jason and Cordelia and Whizzer. And they become like one of those Youtube cliques that collab all the time and tweet about each other’s videos constantly and always hang out with one another at all the events like Vidcon and Playlist Live.
Aligning Brand, Purpose And Culture
Branding Strategy Insider helps marketing oriented leaders and professionals like you define and grow brand value. BSI readers know, we regularly answer questions from marketers everywhere. Today we hear from Tom, a CMO in Charlotte, North Carolina who has this question about building a thriving brand culture.
“Our company is successful despite having no coordinated focus on our culture in terms of brand. Our leadership team now realizes that if we are to reach the next level of growth we need to focus on building a brand oriented culture that aligns with our purpose and helps reinforce the reputation we have earned in the marketplace. What should we be thinking about in the early stages of this journey?”
Thanks for your question Tom. Most organizations neglect the importance of developing a strong brand culture before communicating their value to the outside world. Management from these companies haven’t thought about how they can expect their employees to deliver a consistent brand experience to their customers when they are not offered a culture of brand consistency themselves.
Humans are reflective beings and we are likely to transmit our experiences with a brand to anyone who approaches us from colleagues to customers, from distributors to suppliers.
Putting brand culture first and making it matter are the main challenges when aiming for a successful brand building strategy from within. There are two approaches to be taken towards building a strong brand culture:
1. Brand Toolbox: Ensure Alignment
There are a few must-haves to facilitate the implementation of a brand toolbox and ensure a better brand culture alignment in an organization:
Explanation of the brand strategy (including your defined purpose) together with its reasoning and background to help employees understand why your brand does what it does the way it does. A common understanding is important so defining key terms will be of help;
Detailed principles and guidelines of how your brand should resonate with the outside world and how the company expects its employees to engage as touchpoints;
Real life examples of how the brand is supposed to be delivered and expressed;
Map of the decision-making process to assist on the efficacy of your employees’ in taking the lead when necessary.
The brand toolbox is obviously not a brand-style or standards guide. The toolbox is about substance and how you bring your brand to life.
2. Brand Culture Initiatives: Increase Brand Understanding
Rolling out brand culture initiatives or programs is an important part of creating the right alignment within an organization. Participation should not be a privilege or limited to just a few of the company’s departments but an overarching process that includes the entire organization. This will help ensure alignment and communicate the company’s commitment towards creating a sense of ownership of its brand among all stakeholders.
Here are a few ideas on how you can design and execute brand culture initiatives as well as some real life examples from companies who excel at it:
Deliver dynamic presentations followed by facilitated discussions, games, and interactive exercises (i.e. Starbucks has created a walk-through exercise for its senior level management in which everyone can experience the entire process of making a cup of its coffee from the planting of the coffee seeds to the in-store technology and front-staff service training to creating a common understanding of the brand’s promise);
Create high-energy creative sessions such as a photo scavenger hunt in which groups photograph examples of brand touchpoints as well as themselves demonstrating the brand’s attributes and values. Engage these groups in assembling a collage of the pictures taken, adding captions and headlines to them, and then explaining the brand’s attributes and values to the other groups;
A more content-driven session was held by Sony who organized customer listening booths where end users’ experiences were recorded and employees were asked to analyze, evaluate, and give ideas on how the brand experience could be improved based on the feedback they have received;
A simpler but also effective approach is to conduct a quiz about the brand platform, target customers, and company priorities to ensure understanding and effectiveness of the previously adapted brand toolbox.
Extend Your Brand Culture Externally
IKEA has successfully extended its brand standards, values, and principles throughout its entire network of partners. Everyone connected with IKEA understands the brand’s cultural practices of protecting the environment and its emphasis on creating favorable employee working conditions, to name two.
Adapting a brand toolbox as well as launching brand culture initiatives that include different external stakeholders requires a broad understanding of their needs and perspectives of your brand. It is important that managers understand how to spot brand culture gaps in external partners such as third-party staffing service providers, advertising and marketing agencies, suppliers, channel partners, and others.
Extending your brand culture externally is an important consideration as it provides the opportunity for greater outcomes for all.
We hope this is helpful Tom and wish you the best in this important endeavor.
Public transport abuse ‘all too common’
Media captionThe 15-minute ordeal was captured on camera
A woman sexually harassed on a tram said the abuse, which she filmed and posted on social media, was “all too common”.
Journalist Charlotte Green tweeted a clip of the ordeal on a Metrolink service between Oldham and Manchester’s Exchange Square.
It shows a man making lewd comments and sexual gestures before threatening a passenger who tried to intervene.
Ms Green, 26, said the system needed to change.
The harassment took place on Monday at about 20:00 BST on the East Didsbury line as Ms Green made her way home from work. It lasted about 15 minutes.
She said: “This was not rare, it is a problem women face every day on public transport.
“But this crossed a whole new line.
“He got on the stop after me and was high on something… then he turns on the only guy who stepped in and tried to help me.”
Image caption Charlotte Green says her female colleagues have had similar or worse experiences
Ms Green said others on the tram were reluctant to get involved as “these type of incidents have been normalised”.
She said: “I don’t think the guy who did try and help will ever do it again as he went completely mental on him. It was quite scary.
“We can’t rely on the kindness of strangers to step in anyway, what kind of system is that?
“There should be conductors on trams so they could defuse the situation before it escalates and if required discretely alert police.
“Pressing the emergency button and stopping the tram in this instance wouldn’t have been a good idea, I think it would have made the situation worse and I just wanted him to get off.”
Tube sex assault victim calls for CCTV
The abuse has been reported to the police and Transport for Greater Manchester.
Danny Vaughan, head of Metrolink, apologised and said the “horrible” harassment was “unacceptable”.
He said Metrolink had increased its number of customer service staff and Travelsafe officers regularly patrolled the network to stop “inconsiderate and ignorant behaviour“.
Ms Green added: “This shouldn’t be my normal commute home from work – or anyone else’s – it made me feel objectified, uncomfortable and unsafe.
“A number of my female colleagues have similar or even worse experiences on the tram.
“Since tweeting the video I have received a number of messages from others who have thanked me for raising the issue.”
Two months ago, no one could have imagined the impact COVID-19 would have on local schools and the prolonged shutdown of classes.
That includes Homer Pittard Campus School teacher Jana Hawkins.
“The 13th (of March), had I known, I would have hugged them a little longer when they were going out the door,” Hawkins said about her class of 20 kindergarteners. “We had no idea. I was still working in my room trying to prepare for the next week when we got the call.”
She thought, “Oh my goodness, we’re not going back for a while.”
Kindergarten is a “magical” time for children, both Hawkins and fellow kinder-teacher Melissa Flowers said.
And for that reason, they knew they needed to find a way to maintain a connection with their students and keep them excited about learning.
“There’s so much magic in kindergarten and that’s what we try to keep,” Flowers said. “Kindergarten is unique. We set the stage for what they perceive about learning from here on. We really try to grab them and instill a huge love of school at a very young age and part of that is bringing the magic with it.”
Flowers and Hawkins immediately began brainstorming ideas and developed a plan they would both share for the remainder of the school year.
They decided to focus on a different subject area each day to provide activities and model lessons for students — and their parents — in a way that wouldn’t be overwhelming but continued to keep them engaged.
They did a math lesson on Mondays, reading on Tuesdays, writing on Wednesdays, science on Thursdays and then capped the week with cooking lessons for the students. One of the teachers would do a lesson on preparing a main dish, while the other would show students how to bake a dessert.
“When we first did it, we were trying to decide what recipes we could use where parents already had the ingredients because everything was in shortage,” Hawkins said.
The cooking lessons helped bring together all the skills they had practiced throughout the week — using math, reading and science — but in a fun and delicious way.
Students learned to make — oftentimes from scratch — pizza rolls, cinnamon rolls, Asian-chicken salad, chocolate gravy and biscuits, handmade tortillas, chicken rollups and much more.
“More importantly, it was just more about keeping that relationship there because you work all year to build that relationship,” Hawkins said. “Parents would message and say, ‘They can’t wait for you to come on so they can see you.’”
They produced and broadcast their lessons using Facebook Live and they could monitor the number of students watching and participating through the chat with their parents. They saw lots of engagement and most days would have 16-18 out of 20 students each taking part.
Hawkins and Flowers also helped some of their other Campus School colleagues transition to the live platform so they could have more interaction.
The duo started with three lessons each day, once in the morning, once in the afternoon and then they would do a bedtime story in the evenings. They also made adjustments to the schedule based on the best time for parents to participate.
“Our age group is unique because they have to have someone with them at the device,” Hawkins said. “It even evolved so that I had parents messaging me saying, ‘I have to work but Grandma is going to help fill the gap.’ It was very neat that they were trying to stay engaged. They were trying any link they could to stay connected with us.”
Flowers agreed and found that her daily audience began expanding to include other members of the family.
“At any given moment, I may have 18 families online with me but I have their siblings as well,” Flowers said. “I know one of my kiddos has two sisters and they were always on. So trying to remember, ‘Your little sister’s name is Cathleen’ or ‘Your sister’s name is Charlotte,’ and trying to recognize them as well.”
She added: “It was over the top. It was super exciting for our kids and us.”
Both teachers said they miss seeing their students in-person every day and watching as their experiences and work from the year come together. The last nine weeks is when they see the ultimate payoff.
“Seeing eyes twinkle and shine when they learn something that maybe they’ve been working hard all year to try and master and then the light bulb clicks,” Hawkins said. “Then you’ve got those things like the chicks hatching and the (Kindergarten) Circus, which is such a legacy for Campus School.”
“The last nine weeks is when we see that bloom,” Flowers echoed. “Everything has come to fruition and we see them shine as who they really are as a student. Those students who came in shy and reserved, they’ve found a voice and they’ve found a safe space to share that voice.”
Parents deserve recognition for the great job they’ve done to become the home teacher and learn new ways to keep their children learning, both Hawkins and Flowers said.
“They have stepped up to the plate and hit a home run,” Hawkins said. “It is amazing the ways they have tried to be inventive and creative. They will message me and say, ‘Am I doing this the right way?’ I know they have a lot of balls they are juggling at home too. It’s been overwhelming to see how parents have responded, so hats off to you parents.”
Hawkins and Flowers both worked with parents throughout the year to create scrapbooks for each student commemorating the big events of the year, such as field trips and the Q&U wedding.
They closed out the school year last Saturday by passing out those scrapbooks to parents, posing for pictures with students — wearing masks and practicing social-distancing, of course — and celebrating their accomplishments, even with such a strange and unprecedented ending of the school year.
But they know the students will continue to be successful, thanks to everyone quickly adapting to the situation.
“If there is anything you learn as a teacher, it’s flexibility,” Flowers said, “so we have to be flexible and creative no matter what situation we’re faced with, and this is just another one of those things.”
Aligning Brand, Purpose And Culture
Branding Strategy Insider helps marketing oriented leaders and professionals like you define and grow brand value. BSI readers know, we regularly answer questions from marketers everywhere. Today we hear from Tom, a CMO in Charlotte, North Carolina who has this question about building a thriving brand culture.
“Our company is successful despite having no coordinated focus on our culture in terms of brand. Our leadership team now realizes that if we are to reach the next level of growth we need to focus on building a brand oriented culture that aligns with our purpose and helps reinforce the reputation we have earned in the marketplace. What should we be thinking about in the early stages of this journey?”
Thanks for your question Tom. Most organizations neglect the importance of developing a strong brand culture before communicating their value to the outside world. Management from these companies haven’t thought about how they can expect their employees to deliver a consistent brand experience to their customers when they are not offered a culture of brand consistency themselves.
Humans are reflective beings and we are likely to transmit our experiences with a brand to anyone who approaches us from colleagues to customers, from distributors to suppliers.
Putting brand culture first and making it matter are the main challenges when aiming for a successful brand building strategy from within. There are two approaches to be taken towards building a strong brand culture:
1. Brand Toolbox: Ensure Alignment
There are a few must-haves to facilitate the implementation of a brand toolbox and ensure a better brand culture alignment in an organization:
Explanation of the brand strategy (including your defined purpose) together with its reasoning and background to help employees understand why your brand does what it does the way it does. A common understanding is important so defining key terms will be of help;
Detailed principles and guidelines of how your brand should resonate with the outside world and how the company expects its employees to engage as touchpoints;
Real life examples of how the brand is supposed to be delivered and expressed;
Map of the decision-making process to assist on the efficacy of your employees’ in taking the lead when necessary.
The brand toolbox is obviously not a brand-style or standards guide. The toolbox is about substance and how you bring your brand to life.
2. Brand Culture Initiatives: Increase Brand Understanding
Rolling out brand culture initiatives or programs is an important part of creating the right alignment within an organization. Participation should not be a privilege or limited to just a few of the company’s departments but an overarching process that includes the entire organization. This will help ensure alignment and communicate the company’s commitment towards creating a sense of ownership of its brand among all stakeholders.
Here are a few ideas on how you can design and execute brand culture initiatives as well as some real life examples from companies who excel at it:
Deliver dynamic presentations followed by facilitated discussions, games, and interactive exercises (i.e. Starbucks has created a walk-through exercise for its senior level management in which everyone can experience the entire process of making a cup of its coffee from the planting of the coffee seeds to the in-store technology and front-staff service training to creating a common understanding of the brand’s promise);
Create high-energy creative sessions such as a photo scavenger hunt in which groups photograph examples of brand touchpoints as well as themselves demonstrating the brand’s attributes and values. Engage these groups in assembling a collage of the pictures taken, adding captions and headlines to them, and then explaining the brand’s attributes and values to the other groups;
A more content-driven session was held by Sony who organized customer listening booths where end users’ experiences were recorded and employees were asked to analyze, evaluate, and give ideas on how the brand experience could be improved based on the feedback they have received;
A simpler but also effective approach is to conduct a quiz about the brand platform, target customers, and company priorities to ensure understanding and effectiveness of the previously adapted brand toolbox.
Extend Your Brand Culture Externally
IKEA has successfully extended its brand standards, values, and principles throughout its entire network of partners. Everyone connected with IKEA understands the brand’s cultural practices of protecting the environment and its emphasis on creating favorable employee working conditions, to name two.
Adapting a brand toolbox as well as launching brand culture initiatives that include different external stakeholders requires a broad understanding of their needs and perspectives of your brand. It is important that managers understand how to spot brand culture gaps in external partners such as third-party staffing service providers, advertising and marketing agencies, suppliers, channel partners, and others.
Extending your brand culture externally is an important consideration as it provides the opportunity for greater outcomes for all.
We hope this is helpful Tom and wish you the best in this important endeavor.
