I actually didn't think that it would also be a favorite for so many people, especially in the international fandom (which had 70% of votes). Majority of opinions I've seen were in favor of MYDY or Lenny, some for Tom Sean. Ah, those information bubbles.

Besides, based on your ask I can conclude the studio version of Pedestal was available before the show and I know not all entries were. Some were heard for the first time on that stage and they were not able to gather so much support beforehand. Their reception was also heavily based on the live performances only, while the others were available in the most polished form.

This would be actually super interesting to know why the disparity between the international and domestic voters was so high. I can't come up with any feasible explanation and it's driving me crazy just a little bit haha

I just saw your take on tintin and haddock using formal you and this was my problem too thanks to that anon asking it lol,I remember about a while ago we were talking about tintin on twitter and these two's relationship and not even in a romantic way,in a way that they look and act like father sons too and there was this person who just fought the shit out of us to just say that they see each other as strangers and people that close won't call each other with formal you or bla bla,idk why some people bother this much to fight and change some people's minds about things,I saw some french people talk about this too and they don't get it this topic either with formal you because they think best friends won't call each other like this ,and I agree with the respect part and the other thing is that they're created in 30s and surely the people in that period of time was more formal so,but I'll admit that I feel a bit cringe when they adress each other formal even in the middle of a dangerous scene lmao

Yeah I totally understand feeling cringe about it, it is such a strange and weird concept, especially to us and our era because as you said people back then used to be a bit more formal comparing to nowadays. But even for then it must have been strange to read two people so close to each other keep talking in formal you. I simply decided to push back my cringe and try to see it in a different eye, you can say even "queer" eye as you have to push back the expectations you have taught to have for friendships and see their bond as something on its own (either platonically or romantically or even father-son relationship). I know Herge probably did that because he thought it was funny or whatever reason he had and might have not thought about it that deep but I will because I want to do so and the work itself allows me to analyze it.

I don't get these people either, everyone has their own opinion but you're not always asked to share it, especially in a conversation between people you don't know them or their whole point of their discussion is for something you disagree with. Go talk to people who agree with you and if we ask for an opposite opinion we will call you, I promise.

Also something I need to ask these specific readers: do you not read how they talk to each other besides the formal you? I hope this doesn't come off in a bad way, it's just that your post (about one person wanting to share a space with someone, the other doesn't, and who to prioritize) made me think. Obviously the person who doesn't want to be around the other person should be prioritized, of course. Interesting! I don't see it like that entirely though... Agatha's trial ended the moment she reacted to Nicolas's name. That's when she stopped taking the energy from Alice. Yes, Alice was already dead, but what made Agatha stop and the door opened, is still her own will to stop her actions, like if her love of her son was able to counter-balance the impulsiveness of her inate powers. At least, that's how i see it... (but i'm not sure)

Still, there is something that feels unfinished with her trial, something different indeed, something not settled. So I wonder what it means... I am still not certain if her trial is truly over?

ANd like you and others, I feel like her trial was different. So was it controled by the Seven? Or by other characters? It's an interesting avenue to look into!!!

Isn't it interesting that the trials for the Potion Witch, Protection Witch and Divination Witch all helped the characters.

Jennifer, Alice and Lilia all worked through their past trauma and got closure for some of what happened to them. Despite what happened to Alice and Lilia, the trials themselves helped them move through their personal obstacles.

Yet, Agatha's trial was designed to punish her.

yes, i actually think that that's maya's entire worry--she's convinced that jungkook would inevitably hurt her one day, so why try? 💔 our girl would have to learn how to take down some high walls before they'd be able to be happy, that's for sure

I’m sorry if this comes off as nitpicky or like I’m an asshole that’s not my intention but I wanted to suggest that you change it to Frankie x small!reader or something of the sort. The story is fantastic but I’m not really able to imagine myself in the story at all as a tall person. No one would call me little one and Frankie would have to be pretty damn strong to help on and off the truck bed along with the fact that I am tall enough to hop up on my own with little problem.

Once again I loved this fic, it was well written and the concept is just adorable cuz Frankie totally would think that scratching up his truck is worth it 😂

I completely understand where you are coming from! Im also a tall person (6ft girlie) and I can relate to what you are saying 100%. I have almost finished chpt 2 and I will be honest the next chapter leans to other nicknames and 'little one' will not be used moving forward, it was just something I was playing about with! It also is more general in the readers description so I hope that will also help!

Ooh, nice thoughts! That point about Henry is really good - as much as I can hate his parenting at times, and as much as he has toxic moments in the present-show (not just the flashbacks), it really is clear that Shawn likes his Dad. That's such a nice way of putting it! It's a tough, complicated relationship, but yeah. They like each other.

Also, I never even thought of the fact that Juliet was the only one of the main cast unaware. I always thought that her believing was just true to her character, but I like your points as well. Lassiter's just a skeptic in general, Vick was never confirmed but gave knowing looks, and Henry and Gus already knew. (Of course, there's Woody in the later seasons, but who knows what that man's thinking - he probably believes, but then again, does he even know Shawn is psychic or does he just think he's just some random guy who pops in now and again to help out!)

i've been rewatching psych (as i'm sure you could guess) and three things are really standing out to me on this rewatch

the amount of times gus and shawn have to literally go "no homo" in a situation that really can't be explained any other way is just like. at this point it'd be less gay for them to just have sex

obviously henry is sort of an asshole and a bad parent in a lot of ways, despite his best intentions, but in spite of that, even when their relationship is at it's worst in the show, it's crazy to me how much shawn and henry just like each other. yes we haven't spoken in over a year, now i'm in your house, taking your stuff, of course you're cooking me food, yes we're talking about cases but there's just a lot of - casual hanging out? i really do think despite everything that they had a good relationship until the divorce and falling back into that is easier than not. their relationship is actually the most insane, convoluted parent-child relationship on tv and i'm standing by that, but the undercurrent of like that it has is what i think makes it so interesting instead of just the classic love and hate

they did juliet so dirty by having her think that shawn was really psychic. that makes her the only one in the main cast that shawn fooled, which is just. uncomfortable. and doesn't even make any sense! she's better than that. the only one that should actually think shawn is psychic is buzz and only because he's thinks it's impolite to think that his friends are liars

hello! I saw you were asking about headcanons and I thought it'd be fun to share a thought.

Sukuna, despite being all tough and gruff.... not being able to handle spicy food.

Like at all.

One bite of something that mildly spicy and he's huffing and puffing, completely flushed and sweating with angry curses spewing about as he grabs what's probably his 4th glass of milk.

His face is a shade darker then his hair now and reader is absolutely in tears from laughing so hard. She on the other hand, can handle her spice quite well lmao.

Also Yuji can too, much to sukuna's misery haha.

LMFAOOOO I SAY THIS IS CANON‼️‼️‼️‼️ the first time you order take out from the indian restaurant down the street you’re the one who places the order, just to do something nice for your roommates. Sukuna comes back home after picking Yuuji up from school and smells the food first, Yuuji following him the next second. The kid sheds a couple of tears because he’s not used to fancy take outs, squeezing the life out of you while he hugs you, wetting your shirt throughly 😭😭😭

Sukuna can’t say thank you because he doesn’t know how to LMFAO. He doesn’t expect any nice gestures from everyone, like, ever. So he just stands there, hands in his pocket, nodding one time while averting your gaze.

As soon as his tongue hits the fork, though, he starts coughing. You and Yuuji look at each other confused, munching on your own bites. While Sukuna looks like he’s been too long under the sun, really, too long, he manages to croak out a “milk”.

Yuuji rushes to the fridge while you pat his back, worried. As soon as the milk reaches his lips, he bathes himself in it, trying to gulp down as much as he can in one sip.

“Are you okay?” You ask him after a couple of minutes.

“This shit is spicy as fuck,” he says with a hoarse voice, glaring at you. “Are you trying to fucking kill me?”

You and Yuuji look at each other, both frowning, before you crack up and start giggling.

“What the fuck are you laughing for?” He barks, trying to clean up the corners of his mouth, still completely covered in milk.

“Bro, it’s regular black pepper…” mumbles Yuuji, while you fall on the floor laughing.

I'm obsessed with exactly ONE paradoy song of Weird Al. The song "eBay" has had its talons in me since 5th grade. But, that's it. I can't listen to most of his stuff. I support him because he's doing him. However, most of his songs feel grating to get through, especially if trying to listen to them in album order.

I'm wondering if the disconnect is what you've stated: joke timing and musical timing not lining up correctly.

i had a weed dream you made a video essay about weird al yankovic's music and now im wondering what your thoughts are.

the vast majority of musical comedy is bad. very few of them understand the inherently conflicting interests between joke timing and musical timing, if they do they can play into that, if they don't they just kinda deliver normal jokes but with all the punchlines ruined. i don't understand why anyone would enjoy weird al.
