Her tail wagging a million miles an hour, Angel sat back, stretching out her neck to let the woman fasten the collar in place. Once done, she shook herself, allowing it to settle just perfectly, neither too tight nor too loose, the tag bumping lightly against her breastbone. This was, it was...

She was at a loss for words. She had already known that she'd been accepted here, that she belonged... but this gift, the badge of faith and respectability that she had yearned for but believed herself unworthy of for so long... it was a real tangible thing, and its gentle weight at every tilt of her head reminded her that it was true. She had a place of her own, she belonged.

She could feel tears of gratitude burn her eyes, blinked them away from sheer force of habit. To feel so much like she mattered was a feeling to beautiful to put to words.

Stretching up, she licked Mrs. Tweed's hand, damp eyes alight with gratitude. In this moment, nothing at all could have made her feel better than this.

And to Tod, essentially her little brother now... her gratitude towards him, too, overflowed. Not just for the compliment, either... if not for him, she knew, she wouldn't even be in this place. Just from that one chance encounter, he had given her more than she would have ever dared to hope for again.

All she could manage was a whispered but very much heartfelt "thank you."

The DRY

3 cups oat flour (you can blend oats to make it!)

1 tsp salt

2 tsp baking soda

1 cup brown sugar, loosely packed

1 cup sugar

~

The WET

2 bananas, mashed to hell

1 cup applesauce

4 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

1 lemon zested

2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

1/2 cup maple syrup OR honey

(optional) 1/2 cup to 1 cup berries

Instructions

Stir DRY all in Small bowl

Stir WET all in Big bowl

Add DRY into WET

Bake in 2 sprayed/oiled loaf pans OR 9x9 baking pan

BAKE for 60 Minutes at 350°F

(check with toothpick at 45 minutes to test if done)

now about s=m my god how i love his angry yelling growling rap style 😭 that was the one thing i was hoping we'd get in the new album

i honestly thought that nothing could ever top him growling "i'm on fucking fire" in rock rock for me (obscene behaviour btw, that's when i first knew i'm a fan). but damn… s=m really caught me off guard, both with the aggressive part's lyrics and his delivery

it's the fact that he knowingly does the daddy thing seriously, because it's a rare occasion that he uses a spot on american accent (eg compare it to how he's pronounced "sugar daddy" as a joke in the past). subconciously this tells me "hey don't get it twisted, this isn't a joke, i'm serious about it"

but what really gets me is his rhythm in this verse. his rap here is not fast at all, but it's very sharp and it builds momentum. almost like he is determined to make a clear point. idk if this is going to make any sense at all, but to me each one of these five lines feels like the equivalent of the gesture of a hard spank, not only lyrically but musically too -basically he raps and i hear spanking

I totally agree with everything you said. Him growling "Daddy" is definitely not a joke. He really believes it, he knows it, and he's making it crystal clear with that deep, intense growl so there's no mistaking it.

I totally see your point about the spanks too. It's his way of demanding attention and ensuring we're listening, showing he's not messing around but is dead serious. Every verse one impact, emphasizing his words and making sure we're catching everything he's saying. Also, at the end of each verse he repeats the last word, almost like he's drilling it into your mind 😈

I'm having so many thoughts about this and none of them are in the Bible. His deep, growling voice has me on my knees, hair pulled back in a ponytail, promising that I'll behave and be a good girl for daddy… 😇

Introducing, my main project for binderary! This one is actually two fics that I combined into one book, Twist Me and Turn Me, and Ad Infinitum, both by @enlacinglineswrites. Since their copy arrived today, I figured now would be a good time to post pictures!

At first I had been going back and forth between combining the fics vs binding them separately, since they’re both around 70k words, but I eventually decided to go ahead and combine them, and I’m very very glad I did. Not only does it work really well thematically, it also allowed me to try a bunch of new techniques!

I’ll admit I’m still so fucking proud of how this project turned out. I knew that I wasn’t going to have time to make a bunch of books during Binderary, so I decided to instead try and learn as many new techniques as possible for this one. And so I did!

First off, this was my first ever attempt at rounding and backing a book, and while it may not be perfect, it still turned out super good in my opinion. I also got to try making my own paperless bookcloth, which was very fun! And then I decided to go ahead and buy a foil quill pen, because why the fuck not! So I got to make a pretty shimmery spine!

For the typesetting, I wanted to try to incorporate the idea of mirrors as much as I could, because it’s a very prominent theme in one of the fics, and it ended up being very applicable to the other one as well!

“And… and of cooking?” The younger Jedi’s eyes followed the path of the spoon. 

“I like to cook.” Sifo-Dyas leveled his dark eyes at the younger man with as much menace as he could summon at the moment. “You have a problem with that?”

FF VII: Surprise to no one, I have a few in this fandom/game . Aerith and Cloud . I think they are really soft together , and she brings out a side of ClouPd that we don't normally get to see . On the flip side , Cloud brings out a certain spunkiness in Aerith and they balance each other out well . Cloud and Zack . I'm a sucker for a good best friends to lovers , ride or die trope . I am . Cloud changes so much around Zack , and Zack helps him open up and not be so stormy. They're cute . Zack and Aerith . Classic , tried and true that can do no wrong in my heart . They have great chemistry , and their story is just . . .delightful .

FF XV: Same thing as FFVII , I have a lot of OTPs for this game . This game has me in a stupid chokehold . That being said . Noctis and Prompto . Best friends to lovers . Awkward best friends since childhood , falling in love during sunrises . Late night pizza , and 3am talks about nothing . They get each other and just . . . I love them , okay ? Following that path, Ignis and Noctis . Listen , this one tickles my senses . I adore them . They are the classic 'prince falling in love with his advisor' trope. Ignis knows every little hair on Noctis' head, while Noctis knows Ignis' routine backwards and forwards . They have really tender moments . And don't get me started on Ignis actually willing to die for Noctis to keep him safe . Okay ? Okay . Noctis and Lunafreya . The game did them justice but not enough justice {we got so little screen time with them, don't come for me}. That being said , the moments we did get were beautiful between them . You could tell how much she cared about him from a young age , and how much he valued her and respected her . They had a really particular bond and it was remarkable . {One of my favourite threads I've written on @rexelectus was a thread of just letters between Luna and Noctis and it's my favourite in the universe}. I have too many OTPs for this game, Ravus and Ignis , Prompto and Cindy , Iris and Talcott , Aulea and Regis. I could write even more about this game than I already have , so I'mma stop .
