hey lily!! hope ur day is going okay, here r some modern pippa thoughts 4 u.

so ive mentioned before in an ask that i hc her to be a primary school teacher, specifically for younger years!!

she starts off as a teaching assistant first, considers quitting because of her father's pressure on her to become a dancer, but ends up actively defying her father and stays because of mizzen, who makes her realise the reason she wanted to teach in the first place. to help children and young people.

here are some more headcanons ab teacher!persephone!!

- everybody calls her miss price, but mizzen calls her miss persephone. she has no idea how he found out her first name and tbh she doesn't want to know, but it sticks.

- she becomes a proper teacher after training as a TA for a year, and due to her experience in multiple fields of learning (she did five a-levels, which is very uncommon, most people do 3, in english literature, dance, sociology, psychology and environmental science) she gets the role pretty quickly.

- she goes on all of the school trips for the kids even tho she hates coaches so much.

- she meets pup at her job bc he teaches the older years, and she realises they went to the same secondary school, but never really knew eachother.

- they become friends like instantly, it turns out they both have an interest in teaching english lit.

- theyr definitely staff room gossip buddies.

- pippa makes REALLY good coffee, especially for work, and the teachers always try to get on her good side so she makes them all coffee.

- she allows mizzen to stay in her office when he's feeling overwhelmed, and lets him talk to her if there's anything on his mind.

- one day she brings in her persian cat called hazel and all the students love her.

omg i love pup & pippa as friends!! they are such an underrated duo but they really would be along so well!! (i like to think after the games those two really bonded over how devastated they were by losing lamina & mizzen)

mizzen adores hazel so much!! that’s when pippa really realizes that mizzen’s passions lie with creatures and really starts encouraging him with it!!

i’ll never not be emotional over pippa and mizzen i swear

It's so funny and delightful you say that about the sequel. Glimmer and Clove have become my favorite to write and I know it's controversial that I write them as friends, but it's my mental illness and I decide the friendships. This whole thing is off the wall, like why wouldn't they like each other as career victors ANYWAY off my high horse about that. Their friendship is so fun to write for me. It's funny because my ENTIRE inspiration for writing a sequel is one specific off the wall scene between them that will probably be the second or third one I post (the sequel is going to be more moments in time rather than a contiguous story, the goal is to cover all the time between my epilogue and the epilogue of the actual series through smaller stories and important moments). But this one specific Clove and Glimmer moment is the reason I wrote the sequel, so it will be coming sooner than later. I love them and now they get to be friends!! And live happily ever after because I said so!
