ENGLISH: Underverse 0.8 part 1 might be the last Underverse episode I publish. I'm done with the toxicity, the hypocrisy, and the bias. I give up trying to explain that I'm not a monster, I just wanted to have fun with a video game that made me happy. I'm not sure if I'll come back or want to make content on YouTube anymore, I'll have to take a long break after this, find another job, I don't know, stay ayaw from all this. Every year, it's the same thing, and I don't feel comfortable in this fandom anymore. I'm not mentally okay. I'm done pretending all this hate is not affecting me. Maybe if I step aside, these people will get the attention they've been wishing for, since there won't be that person and her work they hate so much. They feel I shouldn't have gotten an opportunity in the first place and that they could've done way better, as if this fandom were a competition. Or they'll just find another target to turn into a pariah. I'll make an announcement when the trailer/full episode will be released. ESPAÑOL:

Me rindo tratando de explicar que no soy un monstruo, solo quería divertirme con un videojuego que me hacía feliz. No estoy segura si volveré o si querré hacer contenido en YouTube nuevamente. Tendré que tomarme un largo descanso después de esto, buscar otro trabajo, no sé, alejarme de todo esto.

Cada año es lo mismo, y ya no me siento cómoda en este fandom. No estoy bien mentalmente. Estoy cansada de fingir que todo este odio no me afecta.

Tal vez si me hago a un lado, estas personas obtendrán la atención que tanto han deseado, ya que no estará esa persona y su trabajo que tanto odian, que sienten que no debería haber tenido una oportunidad en primer lugar y que podrían haberlo hecho mucho mejor, como si este fandom se tratase de una competencia. O simplemente encontrarán otro objetivo para convertir en un paria.

I delayed posting this because of the news Jael Peñaloza dropped about Underverse a few days ago but after hearing others' thoughts on it, I can't give up on a hobby that brings me so much joy. Even if this community is being filled with hate, there are still so many wonderful people that just want to have fun and share their art, stories, and ideas.

No matter what happens, let's all try to be kind people, so we can have silly fun times and share beautiful things with each other.

I've been familiar with Jael's work since I was 11 years old. It's been 7 years (it's brutal af) and I was always happy when her videos came across in my recommendation feed.

I was not upset after the latest news, because I know that Jael deserved a great vacation for her titanic work. I hope that she and Nyx will take a deep breath and take the break they needed so much.

Heh I relate a lot to this. A guy from my school told me about xtale so I check it out. I loved the series and even cried multiple times. I'm so sad that jael quit/take a long break but i respect her decision. (Yes I am that person who watched xtale before underverse and I do not recommend to do that since it spoils most of the first season.)

Penparadventure X Underverse?

I would cross canons with Jael's quality work... except... apart from the fact that I barely have any on-model work... Jael... has to be able to pay bills... and... 5 puffballs and an Eevee... doesn't exactly 'scream' marketability. Yes, Far's Kaleidokinesis AND One-Timeline-Onset-Order does, in fact, fix the whole 'many time-lines' problem, but Far is kind of a dummy; she grew out of /some/ of that, but she's still a bit dumb. I think presenting Far the Eevee would only muddy up the water for Jael.

I am afraid. I'm afraid that if ever come out I'll be kicked out, that I won't be loved anymore by my family... I want to be myself, but I just don't know who I am anymore. I'll look in the mirror and I'll just see someone I don't recognize... Cross has been one of my biggest comfort characters since I came back to the fandom a few years ago, now that I know that he's trans-coded it gives me hope that maybe someday I'll finally see myself, my true self in the mirror. I am Angel, Luka... That's who I want to be, one more boy, a man, myself.

The simple words coming from the creator I follow "you are valid" made me genuinely cry. The fact that Cross is a trans-coded character made me cry.

Thank you Jael for everything.

As for the transphobics and homophobics... Why are you even in this fandom? Why would you enjoy UnderTale? A fandom and game with a notable amount of support to the Lgbt+ community... We don't hurt you. We don't do anything wrong, we just want to be ourselves and express ourselves just like the cis and the straight people do everyday.

Even if I am afraid now to be myself, I hope that someday I'll be able to be free...

okay so this topic about Ghost and Jade's fam in the future has been asked like REPEATEDLY on my ask box since the dawn of Jade's creation LMAO

but thanks to @alypink I finally got to thinking about it and I finally had the time to to draw it! Here it goes! (❁´◡`❁)

Ghost and Jade has three children, Andrew, Jay, and Orion.

Andrew Thomas Riley - (His middle name is named after his late uncle, Tommy) Face looks exactly like Jade, but with Ghost's hair and eye colors. Loves Manchester City so much and dreams of being like Kevin de Bruyne. He has a bright personality like Jade, but has Ghost's competitiveness. A bit annoying, but only he gets to tease his siblings. WOULD FIGHT for his siblings.

Grace Jael Riley - (named after her maternal grandma, Gracie Le Jardin). Her nickname is Jay (Jael ("jay-el") to differentiate her from her grandmother. Face looks exactly like Ghost, but with Jade's hair and eye colors. She's into music - playing guitars and pianos - and loves to write poems. Jay has Ghost's personality and much rather stay in the corners. Spends a lot of time with her grandparents. Jay has some scary ability to make people speak out their hearts to her (blackmail). Her grandma might have some explaining to do.

Orion Riley - A child of Greek descent from Jade's former orphanage where Ghost and Jade often volunteer in. Orion had similar circumstances with Ghost. Orion's father was a drug dealer and addict, and in his intoxicated state had killed his mother. The Rileys then took him as a foster. He is distant and fearful at first, but with the family's nurturing and warm environment, Orion starts to loosen up and finally feels the warmth of a family. VERY close with Ghost and Jay.

Soon after marrying, the Rileys live in Herefordshire, where the SAS residency is. Jade opened a branch of The Garden, and Ghost himself still works as an SAS soldier. Ghost's deployments are short periods, but a lot of deployments every year, so he tries to spend as much time as he can with his kids when he's home, like playing football with Andrew, singing with Jay (however... unique his voice is), and draw with Orion. The way the kids IMMEDIATELY falls asleep when Ghost's reading them bed time stories AAAAAAA.

A very equally disciplined and warm home, they have their shenanigans, but they work every issue out. The grandparents often come to visit and help Jade take care of the kids when Ghost is not home.

Former MI6 black agents from mom's side of the family, and full-on SAS operators for dad and the uncles. Safest group of kids on the planet.

that's all I got but it's alot more than I was thinking 5-7 years ago

being a suicidal 11 year old was exhausting but I'm glad to say that I can look back at her, still suicidal but willing to push on, and say keep pushing on. this life-ing shit does not get any easier but it's nice to have things to look forward to, even if we've never had a clear vision or plan for the future

now let's make it to 18 I guess
