ONEWE - Kanghyun

you sighed and sighed as you rolled around your bed.

it was a Saturday and you were bored to death. your parents left earlier for their wedding anniversary trip. so you were alone at home for 3 whole days.

you didn't feel like going out but you were just sooooooo restless not doing anything. you tried reading some books but you were just not feeling it.

you decided to just make some food for yourseld but the whole cooking and eating process onky took like 45 minutes.

you still had a long day to go. you quickly sat up on your bed when you thought of an idea.you reached for your phone to text your childhood friend!Hyungu.

well, Hyungu was one of your close friends because he was actually your neighbour who lives right next to your house . cliche bla bla but it was true.

your rooms were right opposite of each other so you could see each other through your room windows. sometimes you would secretly peek into his room and giggle to yourself.

yes you had a tiny little crush on him. Hyungu was always reading a book or playing his guitar when he was in his room. you really admire Hyungu when he was focused.

you hit send and waited for a few minutes. you frowned and sighed. Hyungu was the only person you could think of right now. but he wasn't replying to your text anytime soon.

you went to the window and tried throwing some balled papers to knock his window. this was normal, the two of you would sometimes knock on each other's window to talk.

yeah phones exist but face to face interactions were just more precious. and also, because your windows were quite far and your voices would always be drowned together with the street noises, you and Hyungu had telephone cups.

yes the thing where you connect 2 cups to communicate .

you could call and text each other like normal people but the two of you were just used to this as you started since you were children.

again, there was no response from Hyungu's side. you sighed and plopped down on your bed, disappointed. *maybe he is not at home*. you thought.

you decided to entertain yourself by rewatching Harry Potter ; Prisoner of Azkaban. that was your favourite movie out of all the movies. because Harry looked extra good there.

anyways, halfway into the movie, you finally got a message notification from Hyungu. you swore you've never sat up from your bed so quickly before.

-- oh my, sorry for the late reply! i was making something earlier. if you're still bored, you wanna come over ? --

before you could reply his text, Hyungu texted you again. his message warmed up your cheeks as you read it.

you quickly went to the washroom to wash your face and freshen up a bit. you know it was just a normal hang out but you just wanted to look presentable to Hyungu today.

you wore your favourite red sweatshirt and patted down your hair before leaving your house and heading to Hyungu's .

"y/n! come in!". the door opened, revealing Hyungu who was wearing an apron, all dusted with flour.

you scanned his 'outfit' which earned you a little giggle from Hyungu.

"don't worry,i didn't set my kitchen on fire. Harin helped me bake some cupcakes earlier. he already left because he had other plans.". Hyungu explained with a cute grin.

you nodded in understandment and smiled widely. "soooo, you want me to taste the cupcakes?". you anticipated.

Hyungu chuckled and nodded his head as he told you to wait at the dining table while he took the cupcakes.

salted caramel cupcakes.

"your favourite!". Hyungu chimed as he nudged his head towards the sweet treats , allowing you to taste some.

your eyes widened in excitement as you quickly reached for one.

"mmmmmmmm!". you let out a satisfied sound as salty sweet caramel flowed into your mouth as you bite into the soft cupcake.

Hyungu grinned at your reaction. all those naggings from Harin were worth it. Hyungu was glad you loved the cupcakes he made.

"aren't you eating?". you asked as your cheeks were full with the fluffly dough.

Hyungu chuckled again and ruffled your head. he leaned down to your eye level and poked your cheeks.

"hey don't talk when you're eating. you could choke. i ate some already so you can have them all.".

you blinked at Hyungu's actions and the close distance between the two of you. you felt your face warmed up.

you quickly swallowed the food and looked away. "o--oh tha-thankss..". you stuttered.

after a few minutes, everything went back to normal as the two of you chose a game to play .

"Dead or Alive!". you exclaimed.

Hyungu sighed and nodded. "that's like the ONLY game you always want to play.".

you pouted and flicked his forehead.

"noo i do play the games that you choose too!". you defended yourself.

Hyungu scrunched up his nose and turned on the said game. "okay okay, i understand that you sometimes have to let out the violence in you,". Hyungu teased.

you rolled your eyes and hit his arm. "i can just let it out on you!". you replied as you stuck your tongue out at Hyungu.

Hyungu chuckled and ruffled your hair again as he sat next to you and started the game.

you and Hyungu played for hours and only stopped when your stomachs growled.

"you have anything ?". you asked Hyungu.

Hyungu tapped his chin as he thought of the stuffs he had at home.

"i guess we have some pasta. you wanna fix some for dinner?". Hyungu asked.

you nodded and went to the kitchen as Hyungu cleaned up the game station.

Hyungu was right, they had some pasta. there was also some seafood . since both your stomachs were growling like mad, you decided to just go with something simple and made some aglio olio. simple but delicious and filling.

Hyungu was currently living alone in his house. his parents had some business overseas so they had to stay out of country for a few months. hence the two of them didn't have to worry about finishing up all the food.

"ahhhh that was great! thanks for the food,". Hyungu thanked as he volunteered to wash the dishes since you cooked.

it was getting late, you thanked Hyungu for the day and was about to excuse yourself when he stopped you.

"wait wait, i made a cookie for you . eat them right when you reach home okay?". Hyungu said as he passed you a medium sized fortune cookie that he packed in a paper bag .

you were confused but nodded as you got ready to go home. the usual 5-second trip took 3 as you were excited to eat the cookie Hyungu made you.

you were curious why he told you to eat it right you reached home. you knew fortune cookie always had a note inside.

and something in you hoped it was something good. something that would make you smile widely.

you went into your bedroom and unpacked the bag before taking out the cookie.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH". you squealed into your pillow.

you really didnt believe your eyes. your crush has a crush on you? this is like too good to be true.

you want to believe it was just a prank but knowing Hyungu, who rarely expresses his emotions, he wouldn't play about these things.

of course you hesitated for a bit. Hyungu was a good guy but do you really deserve him? probably not but it doesn't hurt to try, right?

you quickly went to your window and threw your balled paper to attract his attention.

a few seconds later, a shy Hyungu appeared at his window as he opened it. you threw over a cup for him to listen to the things you wanted to say.

"yes. over.". you said.

Hyungu blinked and quickly held the cup to his mouth.

"yo-you mean , yes ? you want to be my girlfriend? over.". he stuttered.

you chuckled and replied though the cup.

"yes Hyungu. i like you too and i would love to be your girlfriend. over.".

Hyungu smiled widely and could not help but chuckle happily.

"then can i come over ? it feels cold here after you left. over.". your boyfriend!Hyungu asked cutely.

you scrunched up your nose and chuckled.

"grr you clingy boy. it's night time already! come over tomorrow okay? i am kind of tired and i want to go sleep. over.". you answered.

you could see Hyungu's deep pout as he got his answer.

"alright then... goodnight! over.". Hyungu bid.

you smiled and nodded as you waved at him. he threw back the cup to you . you caught the cup and quickly gave him a flying kiss before closing your window and running back to your bed.

Hyungu chuckled at your actions and held his chest.

"damn, the things you do to my heart...". Hyungu mumbled as he too got ready for bed.

Hyungu have had feelings for you since middle school. he realised this when boys started asking you out. well, you were a pretty girl after all.

but he didn't like you just because you were pretty, he loved your personality. although the two of you often argue with each other, it just made you two closer than ever.

Hyungu realised he had to make his move when you started dating some boys during highschool. he knew you didn't really like those boys but you dated them just so you don't hurt their feelings.

now that you're both in college, Hyungu was really determined to make you his.

he decided to ask help from Harin to teach him how to bake. you really love sweet stuffs and he really wanted to make you something you love.

although Harin nagged and scolded him a lot, Hyungu thought it was all worth it. because at the end of the day, he made you smile. and of course, you became his girlfriend.

it was really the best day of his life.

i watched shubh mangal zyada saavdhan a bit ago and it was so fucking hilarious, when kusum ran away with the jewels i could not stop laughing and had to pause the movie, that woman is seriously crazy, and ahhhhh the scene where aman and kartik are dancing before goggle's wedding was so much fun, i wanted to join in bc they just seemed to be having such a great time (ignoring papa Tripathi's homophobia) and the music felt so good too ahhhh it was great, so great

as of right now my friend and i are halfway through heartstopper and i just ahhhhh its so perfect oh my god, i do have to wonder why they decided to add imogen but im not too bothered by her, tao is such a drama queen and i love him bUT WHAT DID THEY DO TO WILLIAM GAO'S HAIR OH MY GOOOOOD NOOOOO my friend is fascinated by Tori (as she should be) jhfsjhf I refuse to believe that Kit Connor went to audition for Charlie, I just refuse to believe it, he literally looks like Nick was pulled out of the comic itself and he went to audition for Charlie??????

the half sister line was so gut wrenching but seeing edwina burst out in anger was kinda satisfying ngl. when rewatching the final episode i kinda realized that kate did always have the anxiety of being viewed as only a half sister and felt like she had to take care of everything to even be viewed as family

i like the character of theo but was fully expecting a queer romance line for eloise & penelope like i wasnt the only one who thought they were fully hinting at it??right??

YESSSSSSSS Aizawa and Mic are high school friends so I’m pretty sure it’s canon they waste time together, Blood King and Dog Hound are canon pals too so they also most probs chill together too! Blood King is also the same age as Aizawa and Mic so they probs used to go to school together too!!! And with Dog Hound being 32, Midnight being 31 and Cementoss and Thirteen being 28 they’re more or less all the same age, so I like to think they spend free time together~ some scenes with the teachers make me think they’re good pals with the older ones too, it’s a really fun group of people to be honest!

I like to think Jirou’s got at least basic knowledge for how to play any instrument ever, so when she’s laying around in the common room once she got used to her friends listening to her play she’d bring with herself the smaller and easier ones to carry! An ukulele has a super nice sound and is small enough to bring around the dorms haha

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I think I already answered this question? At some point? But I can’t find it, so in general my take is that I highly doubt Bakugou’s body isn’t built to withstand and not take damage from his own quirk (since his hands are made to hold up with it, I feel like the rest of his body is tailored around his quirk too), but I’m always up for disabled characters and the idea of Bakugou signing is beautiful to me, so I don’t mind the AU one bit! Dunno if I’ll ever draw for it tho, drawing jsl when I don’t know it is hard. I know that from experience.

That said, I do find the fics in which Bakugou becomes deaf because of his quirk a bit hard to believe most of the times? Because in all of them his ears are the only things taking damage for the continuous use of his quirk and I just sit here like, his eyes should be taking damage too. Normal eyes aren’t made to withstand explosions and stun grenades every day all day, so if his ears aren’t biologically made to hold against his quirk his eyes shouldn’t be either.

Like, I read those fics and I find them real hard to believe because the authors aren’t pushing it hard enough, for me it’s either no damage at all or hoh AND visually impaired Bakugou, boy can’t be only half built to withstand his quirk that’d just be silly haha but that’s probably just me, the AU is Good 👍

Say You Won't Let Go - Chapter 2

Camila was loving her time in Texas with Ally. Her family has treated Camila like one of their own. They even went as far as getting a couple Christmas gifts for the younger Latina girl, so she wouldn’t be left out when everyone was opening presents. Camila felt loved and safe around them. A safety she hasn’t felt in a while.

It also helps that she’s been talking to Lauren Jauregui from time to time. Lauren has been so nice, and sweet. Incredibly supportive about the channel. On top of all that, she’s hilarious. Every time they speak Camila has a lasting smile.

It was the day before New Years Eve, Camila and Ally were getting ready to go to the movies. Camila’s mind kept wandering to Lauren. When Lauren first wrote to her on twitter she freaked out. She couldn’t help but to tell Lauren over and over how amazing she was. Her phone started buzzing, and her smile grew.

Lauren: When do I get to see that beautiful face? 😏

KC: lol what makes u think im beautiful?

Lauren: well we’ve been DMing for about 2 weeks, & I conclude that even if ur not physically what the world would deem as beautiful, ur personality shines brighter than anything. Ur so funny, and crazy nice. Ur passion for music is undeniable. Thats beautiful. Thats u.

“Ally Brooke? Is that you!?!” Camila heard someone behind her say. Ally squealed hopping up from her seat. When Camila turned around her mouth hit the ground. She saw Ally hugging none other than 1/3 of The Holy Trinity, Normani Kordei.

Ally and Normani were best friends before Normani moved to Miami. They talked for a couple months before losing touch.

“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be taking over the world with your voice?” Ally asked excitedly.

Normani laughed, “Well we finally got a break for the holidays, my family came here.”

“Are you eating here alone?” Ally asked noticing no one was with Normani.

“I was going to get some food and head home” she replied.

“No! Come sit with us!” Normani looked towards Ally’s table, eyeing Camila.

“Is she going to be okay?” she asked Ally, noticing Camila was stunned and still had her mouth open.

“Oh, that’s my best friend. I guess she might be a little star struck.” Ally snapped her fingers in front of Camila, who shook herself out of the shock she was in.

Normani laughed while sitting down next to Ally. Camila thought Normani’s smile could kill her.

“I’m Normani,” she reached her hand out to shake Camila’s.

“Y-yeah, I know. I mean, how can I not? You’re you!” Camila rambled. “I’m Camila Cabello.” She said shaking Normani’s hand.

“You’re cute Camila. Relax though, I’m not going to bite.” Camila ducked her head down shyly. “You’re lucky you’re not meeting my bandmates, they can be a little…rowdy. They might bite.” Normani joked, trying to put Camila at ease.

Normani and Ally caught up for a bit while they ate. Normani made sure to include Camila into the conversation, not wanting her to feel uncomfortable. Camila was surprised to see how down to earth Normani was.

“Hey, you girls should come over my house for a little. We can continue to catch up!” Normani suggested.

“That would be so much fun!” Ally exclaimed.

“Are you sure it’s okay if I come? I don’t want to intrude on your friendship reconnection. I can just go back to Ally’s,” Camila said timidly.

“Seriously? Talking to Ally and you has made me feel so…normal. I could use some normality. So yes, I’m inviting you to my house. We will talk, watch a movie, just hangout. Pleasssse come!” Normani begged Camila.

“Okay, okay!”

When the girls got to Normani’s house she gave them a quick tour. Ally got to see Normani’s parents after years. She was happy that they still recognized her, and they were glad she was doing well.

They reached Normani’s room, and Camila launched herself onto the king-sized bed.

“This is sooooo comfy,” she said while rolling around. “Adopt me Normani.”

Ally and Normani laughed. Ally pushed Camila over to the other side of bed, and made herself comfortable. Normani turned on the TV, and started browsing Netflix sitting between the two girls.

“So how did you two meet?” she asked the girls, focusing on finding something to watch.

“College—Friends!” Camila shouted. “Please put on Friends. I love it.”

Normani chuckled at her and put on a random episode.

“As she was saying,” Ally continued, “We met in college.”

“Cool, so we are all the same age?” Normani said unsure.

“No, she’s almost two years younger than us. I didn’t want to live on campus and my past roommates were all crazy. I couldn’t afford living on my own, Camila had an ad looking for a roommate. I thought it was a good idea to get to know a roommate before having to live with them.” Ally explained.

“She fell in love with my dorky charm,” Camila said still focused on the TV.

“It’s true,” Ally joked, “Unfortunately.”

“Unfortunately?!” Camila threw her hands up, “Without my nerdy clumsiness, we would’ve never been roommates! I wouldn’t have the world’s best friend. I’d be stuck with Shawn. I love him, but he’s NOT you! I wouldn’t be sitting here enjoying Friends.” She exclaimed.

“You’d still be watching Friends somewhere. Relax. I love you, I’m glad we met.” Ally reassured her.

“Hmmph,” Camila folded her arms turning back to the TV.

Normani laughed at the two girls. “You go to Miami University and you didn’t come to see me?”

“Girl, you were touring by that time,” Ally responded. “How did all that happen by the way? The Holy freaking Trinity!”

Normani chuckled, “Ahhhh, where do I start?”

“Well, I know how you all met. We heard your recent interview,” Ally said.

“Oh, keeping tabs on me?” Normani joked.

At the sound of the interview Camila’s head shot up. She didn’t want Ally to tell Normani about KC. She thought it might be odd, and look bad. They mentioned her in an interview, then she somehow manages to bump into one of them.

“Sorry but no. Actually, Mila—”

“I just stumbled on it, and showed her.” Camila cut Ally off, giving her a pleading look. Ally nodded in understanding.

“It’s cool, happy to be in the company of a fan,” Normani winked at Camila. “Well, I don’t know what to add to that. After meeting Demi, the next day she introduced us to Simon Cowell. He was concerned that we were too young. Me and Lauren were 16, and Dinah freaking 15.”

“Was he mean like on TV?” Camila asked.

“Opposite, he so sweet. We are signed to his label now, throughout the whole process he was so helpful. I mean we were just teenagers trying to chase our dream.” Normani said. “Before signing a contract there was a lot of back and forward with our parents, because of school.”

“That’s awesome!” Camila said.

“Yeah!” She paused thinking fondly of the memories. “It took a lot to get where we are, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

“That’s really cool, I’m so happy for you.” Ally said, hugging her old friend.

“Thank you, Ally.” Normani smiled into the hug.

After the embrace, the girls continued talking. Normani was elated to reconnect with Ally, but she was happier to get to know Camila. She thought the younger girl was adorable and dorky. Camila reminded Normani of Dinah.

The talking died down after about an hour, and the girls watched Friends. It took Ally about 2 episodes before she fell asleep.

“We should probably get going,” Camila said pointing out a sleeping Ally.

“Don’t be silly, stay the night,” Normani said sleepily. “I’ll get you some clothes to sleep in.”

She rubbed her eyes getting off the bed and rummaged through her draws. She pulled out a muscle tank top, and white shorts, handing them to Camila.

“Thank you, Normani. For everything, for letting a stranger stay here—”

“Stop, it’s all okay.” Normani cut her off, as she placed a reassuring hand on Camila’s shoulder. “You’re chill. A little quirky, but cool. It’s nice hanging out with people who aren’t trying to use me.”

“Thank you,” Camila replied giving her a hug.

When she let go of Normani she went to get changed in the bathroom. By the time she got out, Normani was already sleeping.

Camila shut the TV off and got comfortable in bed. She kept plenty of space between herself and Normani, not wanting to wake the older girl up while she used her phone.

She was on tumblr for about an hour, before she put on her headphones and decided to watch her video one more time before uploading it.

In the middle of her video, she got a text from Kellz. They’ve been talking every day since they exchanged numbers. He’s a nice guy. A bit insane, but she loved how care free he lived.

Kellz��: I think I just broke my face dude

Milz🎶: What do you mean?

Kellz🎸: I was just drunk fucking around. Running on cars. Fell smashed my face into the ground.

Milz🎶: Oh what different lives we live.

Kellz🎸: Lmao truu. So I’m playing a show in Miami in a couple weeks, u coming right? U get to see how I live first hand.

Milz🎶: For sure, just don’t let me break my face.

Kellz🎸: No promises Milz.

Milz🎶: Oh godddd

Kellz🎸: Turns out, my face isn’t the only thing I broke. Broke my arm to lol

Milz🎶: I’m rethinking this friendship, I think I’m going to get hurt just by being friends with you

Kellz🎸: Nahhhh, u can’t leave me. We haven’t recorded a song yet!

Milz🎶: I thought we were merely writing a song? Now we are recording one?

Kellz🎸: Hell yeah! I can’t wait to chill with u! Explore that creative cool brain of urs.

Milz🎶: I’m not so sure about cool? Lol

Kellz🎸: Bro, just by the things you say when we text, I can tell ur crazy creative. That’s cool as fuck.

Camila felt the bed vibrating followed by an obnoxiously loud ring. After a couple of rings, she felt Normani shuffle around the bed.

“Girl don’t give me a reason to hate you, pick up that damn phone,” Normani grumbled.

Camila held back a laugh, “It’s not mine, grumpy.”

Normani huffed feeling around the bed for her phone. When she found it, she answered annoyed “You better be dying, there is no other reason to be calling at this ungodly hour!” Her toned soften after a moment. “Of course, babe. Do you want to talk about it?” she asked, pausing allowing the other person to talk. “Okay, you know where the spare key is. I love you.” She hung up, and looked at Camila.

“I’m sorry for being grouchy, I don’t like to be woken up. But why are you still awake? Is everything okay?” She said, concerned laced in her voice.

Camila pinched her cheeks, “Care about me already?!” she joked. “I just couldn’t sleep.” Camila yawned, “But I guess I’m getting tired now. Everything okay with your phone call?”

Normani nodded, “Yeah, my best friend is coming in a couple hours. I’m going to head back to sleep until she gets here.” She snuggled up to Ally. “Get some sleep Mila, goodnight.”

“Night Normani.”

Camila posted her video before turning off her phone. She got comfortable and headed to sleep. She was excited to meet one of Normani’s friends, hopefully they were just as chill.

Lauren was loving every minute of being home. She didn’t realize how much she missed her family. She missed her mother’s forehead kisses, and her father’s bear hugs. She missed hanging out with her siblings, Taylor and Chris. She was happy to see everyone’s faces when they opened Christmas presents from her.

She was more than happy to be talking to KC every so often. She thought the girl was talented, and after talking she liked her dorky personality. She hoped to see her face, but KC won’t let up.

It’s the day before New Year’s Eve, and she was schedule to make a club appearance. She was rummaging through her closet looking for something to wear for tonight when her sister came in and jumped on her bed. “So, what are your plans for tonight?”

“I’m kind of hosting this party at some club. Luckily, it’s not a singing job, just a partying one.” Lauren said, doing a little dance.

“Just don’t party too hard, you know dad doesn’t like your ‘Bad Girl” image. It certainly doesn’t help when you’re actually out there partying.“

Lauren and her dad have had their fair share of arguments about her bad girl tendencies. She’s never been one for rules, even when she was younger. When she went to California for the spring break where she met Dinah, her dad said no but she left anyways. She was grounded until that summer. "Dad will get over it like he always does.” She told Taylor.

Lauren pulled out her phone to listen to KC while she got ready to go. She was bummed when she noticed that KC hasn’t posted a new video since The Holy Trinity interview. Lauren hoped that didn’t scare her away.

Lauren smiled at her phone before locking it and tossing it on her bed. She continued looking through her clothes before picking out a cute black velvet dress.

After she showered, did her makeup, and got into her dress she took a picture for twitter. She was about to post when she got a tweet from K.C

@KC_LoveOnly: Girl, when I know that ur a part of my audience, I GOT to make sure its peeeerrrfffecctt!! @LaurenJauregui

Lauren laughed, and continued to posted her picture.

It was about 3:30 in the morning and Lauren was stumbling home. While at the club she ran into her old friend Vero. They danced all night and drank way too much.

They made a trip to the bathroom where Vero gave Lauren some coke. It wasn’t her first time doing it, within minutes she was dangerously high.

“Shhhit” Lauren cursed, trying to unlock her front door. She didn’t understand why she had so many keys, but most of all she couldn’t figure out which one opened her door.

“Ahhhhhh, that’s the one!” she said, tip toeing into her living room.

She whispered, “Honey! I’m home,” as she stumbled into an end table knocking over a lamp.

“Shhhhhh! You’re going to wake up papa, you stupid lamp!” she whispered shouted at it, while giggling. She heard someone clear their throat. When she turned around she was met with her fathers disappointed look. “Too late,” she laughed.

“Lauren, if you’re going to come home drunk at 3 in the morning can you at least keep it down. What kind of influence do you think this behavior is on your sister?”

Lauren immediately got angry. She thought she was a great influence on Taylor. She followed her dreams, and became an accomplished artist. Everything she does is for her family.

“I’m a suspectful..susss..successful influence on her.” She stated drunkenly, while her dad looked at her unimpressed, adding to her anger. She tossed her purse onto the sofa, and ran her fingers through her hair.

“Dad whatdoya w-want from me? I’m in what is probably the biggest girl group of this time!” she grinned widely, pleased with her career. “Everyone should be proud and inspired by me” she slurred.

“How can I be proud when I have to sit back and see pictures of my little girl stumbling out of clubs? I just want you to be careful. I don’t want you to do anything stupid Lauren.” Her dad sighed.

“I just go out to blow off steam—”

He cut her off, “What steam? You’re in the biggest girl group!” he mocked.

“Whatever dad. Just let me sssleep this off. Pleasee, yell at me later. You give me a headache” she groaned, rubbing her temples.

He sighed in defeat. “Fine, but here…don’t forget your things.” He picked up her bag to hand it to her. “Listen Mija, I love you and please know I’m proud of –” He stopped when he noticed some things spilling out of the purse. Lauren eyes grew wide when I saw the little baggy of white powder drop in front of his feet.

“Lauren, are you fucking kidding me? You’re stupid enough to bring drugs into my house? Around your siblings?” She looked down, not baring to see the disappointment in his eyes. “You know what! Get the hell out!”

She looked at him shocked, “What do you mean? Where am I supposed to go? It’s practically New Years Eve!”

“I don’t care where you go, but you’re not fucking staying here. I’m not dealing with your bullshit.” He spat. He reached down and grabbed the baggy before walking to the kitchen. “Go with the person who gave you this for all I fucking care.”

Lauren turned around not really knowing what do, she punched the wall until her hand was swollen. She took out her phone about to call the only person she can think of when her brother came downstairs.

“What’s going on Lauren?” Chris asked sleepily rubbing his eyes. She didn’t say anything but bury her face into his chest, as he wrapped his arms around her.

He never seen her this upset before, he didn’t know what to do but he knew not to press the issue.

“Can you take me to the airport?” she mumbled into him. He nodded, releasing her and headed up the stairs to grab his keys. Lauren brought the phone to her ear praying that it doesn’t go to voicemail.

“You better be dying, there is no other reason to be calling at this ungodly hour.”

“Is that offer to go to Texas still available?” Lauren sniffled.

“Of course, babe. Do you want to talk about it?” Normani asked.

“Not really.”

Lauren was sitting at the airport, she luckily didn’t have to deal with paparazzi being that it was late. She did have to wait for her plane to be ready, due to the late notice. She sobered up as best to her abilities, which meant puking her guts out in the airport bathroom, and drinking water.

She scrolled through tumblr trying to push the thoughts of her argument with her dad out of her mind. She quickly forgot about everything when she got a notification that KC uploaded a new video. She clicked to watch the video:

“Hey pumkins! As promised I’m here to answer a few questions. I took the liberty to write down them down, as well as the answer. Hope you like!” KC said.

She had written down the questions on notecards with the answers on the back, and held them to the camera.

1. What do you look like?

She turned the card over and showed a horrible drawing of a girl stick figure. The answer read, “I look like a person. I have hair, eyes, a mouth, nose. The whole shebang.”

2. Where are you from?

“I grew up in Florida. I’m just around here and there ;)”

3. What inspires you?

“People. Love. Art itself.”

4. Who are some of your favorite musicians?

“I think Ed Sheeran is fantastic. And Taylor Swift influences me to write.”

5. What do you do?

“Well, this. I post videos, but I guess if you’re asking besides this…I go to college.”

“Okay,” she spoke, “I think that’s enough questions. I must keep some mystery to me. It’s a part of my charm, don’t you think?” She joked. “As many of you know a very talented girl group said they liked my channel. One girl specifically, so this next cover is for her.”

She started strumming.

“Thank you,” she replied getting up from her seat. She went outside towards the plane, and tweeting something before getting on.

ok so, jimin’s power - I’M ACTUALLY SO GLAD YOU ASKED, because it’s a part of the story that almost no one’s asked about even though it’s kind of a big deal for jimin. which is….jimin doesn’t have a power lmaO. almost everyone in that au has superpowers; its the norm to have one, but fic!jimin just..doesn’t. it’s something he’s probably felt odd about growing up; in his growing years he probably tended to feel like he had to work extra hard to be sort of special or noticed and stuff T-T that’s also part of the reason he originally was drawn to jeongguk in school after the dictionary incident - by that age he’d kind of started to guess that he wasn’t going to develop a power, since it’s really rare for it to develop any later than teenage years, and jeongguk was the first person he’d known to not like his own power ;; so to jimin it was kind of eye-opening to realise that the power he’d always been upset about not having could possibly bring harm as well as good ahjsbdsjhd..so yeAH!! im so so glad you asked this omdfd i feel like..im finally doing fic!jimin justice in telling his unwritten story T–T

and MY FAVOURITE BOOKS. omfg there’s so so many im just going to list as many as i can think of off the top of my head:

1. The Raw Shark Texts (by Steven Hall)

this one is one of my all time favourites, and a HUGE huge huge inspiration in writing that’s left an impact on me for a really long time ;; IT’S SO UNDERRATED but it’s super gripping and interesting and experimentally fresh, and has really well-written themes of like love and loss and unfaithful memories and losing memories and a lot of cool internal/mental things like that! the ending is super cool to me, too ;;; the writing style is like nothing ive ever really seen anywhere else and is just super compelling in the way the author selects and arranges certain simple words in un-simple ways? and there are many parts of this book that are ambiguous in what exactly happened; that’s exactly why i love it? idk i jsut - i get super super excited about this book pleasE READ IT

2. The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake (by Aimee Bender)

actually, i have loved about every single thing by aimee bender that i’ve read, but this is the only novel of hers ive read so far so i’ll go with that hjsbdjhsf…her short story collections are super lovely too, some of my favourite short stories by her are Job’s Jobs, Appleless, Death Watch, Motherfucker, I Will Pick Out Your Ribs (from My Teeth), and Faces. Aimee Bender is really one of my favourite authors ever, she has a really distinctive style and flavour thats creative and poetic and charmingly matter-of-fact all at once, that makes the most mundane stuff seem magical and the most magical stuff seem mundane. like. idk. IM REALLY IN LOVE with her writing ;;;;; ahdsbfjhbfds please check her out if you can!!!

3. A Wrinkle in Time & its sequels (by Madeleine L’Engle)

this whole series is just..really lovely in its ideas and hopeful and really gave me a huge sense of wonder the first time i read it? and there are some scenes in it that were just so beautifully magical (even though it’s actually sci-fi) and moving that i’ve never forgotten them to this day ;___; even though i first read it when i was 11 lmaO. but really, this is so soso osos o lovely idk if youve ever read it but i hope you have/get to read it some day abfdf

4. The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo

jhasgfjhs kate dicamillo is another of my all time favourite writers, i grew up hunting library shelves for her name lmao her writing is just..really beautiful in its ideology and style? there’s something very pure and innocent and whimsical and so so poetic about the things she writes and the way she tells stories, i always tend to read her stuff in one sitting bc it’s just so hard to stop ;;; i love her work so so much

5. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

i actually…can’t remember the exact story of this anymore BUT I DO remember that when i read it, i was completely blown away by the power of the writing style? bradbury’s writing is just…really distinctive in a heavier kind of way? like it’s poetic but kind of grips you around the heart idK im not sure how to explain it. i’m always stunned at the way he chooses his words and crafted his world in this book ajhsfbjd i love it sooo much ;;; i want to reread soon sdhfds

6. The Monstrumologist series (by Rick Yancey)

THIS ONE IS SO UNDERRATED i love it omg..it’s more gory and dark than most the things ive mentioned but the gore never feels like..needless? idk. i just love it so much and the kinds of ideas like the blurring of lines between man and monster, as well as the changing relationships of growing up - the book series just handles that so so well and with a really exciting gripping plot too ahdgsd i love it i love iiit. my fav book in the series is probably the lsle of Blood; there’s a line in there about a plate that haunTS ME ALWAYS

7. Skellig and Kit’s Wilderness by David Almond

david almond is another writer i grew up reading ahhHH it’s honestly been too long for me to exactly remember what i loved about these 2 books - BUT I LOVE THEM

8. The Seas by Samantha Hunt

i actually am reading this book literally right now, so i havent reached the ending and im not sure if ill still love it as much as i currently do by that point, but so far i definitely am loving it SO much!! the writing and metaphors and characterisation are so damn beautiful and interesting and the writer has a lovely flow and really fresh way of arranging words and delivering ideas ;; it’s just really prettily and freshly and creatively written ;A; plus, i have this…Thing for the ocean so i love that a central part of this book is about the sea ahhH

9. Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami

I WISH I HAD MORE HARUKI MURAKAMI THINGS TO TALK ABOUT but this is the only of his books ive found so far - and I LOVE IT TO DEATH. i actually read norwegian wood and the particular sadness of lemon cake in the time period when i wrote my latest fic (thought you knew) and they really ;;; damn, a double whammy of inspiration omfg. norwegian wood is just…really really interesting and deep and real without being too heavy-hearted in the way it talks about things like relationships, devotion, alienation and loss? idk, it’s just- i love it so so so much, especially the ending paragraph ahhhh

10. Cathedral and A Small, Good Thing (by Raymond Carver)

THESE ARE TECHNICALLY SHORT STORIES, not books. but i just love them so much i have to mention them ;;; i honestly love raymond carver and his way of writing a lot, he just..he says so much with so little? he’s a huge inspiration i look up to like crazy especially when it comes to crafting dialogue ahhh. i also really love his poem Hummingbird!

11. The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino

this is another one in team BLEW MY FUCKIGN MIND ahhh ;; i read it super super long ago but the plot is so so good? it’s the kind that’s a bit confusing at first, but then everything gets revealed and i’m completely shook and eye-opened and want to read it again with the new knowledge, you know what i mean? just- i cant remember what the writing style was like but the PLOT and setting was soo so so cool T—T
