Hi Rist! How are you doing? Is life being nice to you? Two questions:

1) I feel like this might’ve been asked before, but I’m not sure, but do you have any plans to make another part to the Sparked “Valtor wins” alt ending, or is that just a one off thing?

And 2) How would Sparked!Valtor, Tbhtbh!Valtor, and Sparked“Valtor wins”!Valtor react if their Bloom was extra mad at them and said they’d only sleep with Valtor if she got to take control?

I’m not sure how the Sparked Valtors will react since this has already (sorta) happened before, but I’m curious.

Life is being a BITCH to me personally, but im confident this is just my second act low point and i shall emerge victorious in about 3-5 business days.

1) I do, in fact, have an idea for a second Victory Incarante chapter, but lets be honest, i've been dragging my feet for the next tbhtbh chapter already. I have put myself under strict orders to not write on anything else until this chapter is done.

2) Bold of u to assume that would be a threat and not an incentive to Valtor lol

But I do think there would be differences. Given that VictoryIncarnate!Valtor is a) very aware that Bloom is only here because he has successfully blackmailed her, and b) will run off if she has reason to believe he's no threat anymore, he might wanna overcompensate. Project strength at any cost, meticulously make sure she is aware of his power at any given moment, you know the deal. I think he might be the only one who would actually draw a hard line there, not because he wouldnt enjoy being a pillow princess for once, but because his (more than justified) paranoia wouldnt allow it. ESPECIALLY if Bloom would pose ultimatums like that. He'd see it as a challenge to his superiority, get inter-universal flashbacks of his tbhtbh counterparts Very Bad Three Years, and double down twice as viciously as before. His loss, in my opinion.

Mainline Sparked!Valtor on the other hand is DOWN BAD. He is READY for this. He's spent like an entire week on cloud nine after Bloom took charge for the first time in that dreamscape, the sentence hasnt even fully left Bloom's mouth yet before she realizes the monumental mistake she has made. Now he WILL NOT shut up about it. That threat has failed so badly lmao, now he's intentionally making her mad in order to get her to follow through. If he plays his cards right he'll maybe even get pegged!

And as for Tbhtbh! Valtor... well i guess we'll have to wait and see :3

I only just started to read the city watch novels to find out what this whole discworld thing was about (just finished fifth elephant!) and i was immediately obsessed, so naturally i went to check out the fandom and i just wanted to let you know your drawings made my day :) i have noone irl to scream about the characters with (at least not yet hehe) and something about your humor just really gave me a sense of comunity idk so thanks

really glad to hear that anon, these books are bouncing on the inside of my skull at all moments and drawing them is like a pressure valve I'd suggest following the Discworld tag, since there's actually a pretty lively community online

Please Tell Me. Mike: I was living up here in the Wirral, the Beverly Hills of Liverpool! Our kid lived in London with his pop group and he sent up for one birthday, this box. I opened it and there was a beautiful leather box. Etched into that was Nikon. Inside there in purple velvet was a Nikon F camera, it is the Rolls-Royce of cameras. Absolute magic. I was a photographer. I did all my early stuff mostly on a Rollei Magic camera. Our kid and his group and Gene Vincent live at the Cavern, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard when they came through Liverpool, Scaffold etc. To have suddenly the Rolls-Royce of cameras as a pressie was such a shock and a joy. So I decided to ring our kid down in London. What happened with our kid was, this group that he was in, you wouldn’t have heard about them! They were good and getting big in London. So when anybody rang him, he wouldn’t say anything. He would let them talk and then if they were dodgy he would become a Chinese takeaway or restaurant cleaning or anything. He would just put them off. That was his trick, you always talked first. So I’m waiting for him to answer and the phone is ringing for a long time. Suddenly this tune pops into my head while the phone was still ringing. When I was just about to put it down, he picks it up and suddenly there was silence. So I said, “Thank you very much for the Nikon camera, thank you very much, thank you very, very much.” He said “You got it.” And I said “Yes I got it, fantastic. What a present, it is so great, thanks a lot, thank you very much, you know, it is a pleasure ta raa.” Then I put the phone down and started humming the tune. We use that at the end of the Scaffold shows to thank the people for coming.

You probably could go and squish his cheeks if you really wanted to, provided he wasn't actively in the middle of fighting. He'd probably be pretty confused as to why you were doing it, and awkward about the intrusion of personal space, but he wouldn't hurt you or anything.

At any rate, thank you so much! He is my blorbo, so of course I have put a great deal of effort into characterizing him. I'm glad you like how I characterize him, too!

Thinking abt Leo being open about his affections to Mikey,,, like:

Whenever Leo walks into a room or place Mikey’s in, he’ll place a kiss on his forehead and then greet the others. Mikey just giggles at the open shows of affection from his mate.

Leo holds Mikey by the waist whenever they are close, he kisses Mikey’s knuckles and says “all better” after patrol even if they didn’t fight anyone; he interlocks their hands together and swings them when they walk.

He puts a possessive hand over Mikey’s tights when they’re sitting, squishing and rubbing mindlessly; Mikey jokes that’s the way he stims the same way Mikey moves his leg without thinking.

He whispers little sweet nothings into Mikey’s ear when they’re hanging out with others, never anything dirty, just how much he loves him or how Raph looks uglier than usual, making Mikey laugh, and oh, he loves to kiss Mikey when he’s laughing, to pull him closer and caressing his cheeks, doesn’t matter if it’s Mikey who holds him by his waist or pins him against any wall, it makes it even better actually.

And just as with many things, he lets Mikey play with the tails of his mask; he kisses all the freckles in Mikey’s face and body whenever he can, and places their foreheads together after making out.

Leo hugs Mikey, he cuddles him whenever he gets the opportunity: watching a movie and puts Mikey in his lap; when they’re about to sleep and Mikey wants to be the little spoon or use him as his pillow or personal weighted blanket, doesn’t matter because Leo will do whatever Mikey wants.

And yet he’s the lucky one, he’s the one taking Mikey’s mask off before going to bed after all, and he’s the one kissing Mikey’s beak with such gentleness when getting ready to sleep. They become a mangled mess when sleeping, always close and not a single inch of their bodies not touching under the blankets and soft pillows.

He leaves love bites on that lil spot between Mikey’s neck and shoulder and he’ll hide his face there while sitting on Mikey’s lap.

He rests against Mikey’s side, and kisses his shoulder; and Mikey loves to play with their foot under the table while having dinner.

He lets Mikey scrub his shell when bathing, he lets himself get taken care of and tries his best to enjoy it all.

They love each other so much, that Leo can’t even bear to think about a world where he’s not with Mikey, where Mikey isn’t there to comfort him after an ugly dream turned traumatic flashback in the cold nights of winter, you know?

Something I think isn’t talked about enough is how intensely Alex stares at Miles. There will be times when Alex is staring at Miles so hard he doesn’t even blink. Alex does have a fierce stare, but its on another level when it comes to Miles.

Of course - fully agreed.

Though it almost seemed like through the years he learned to tone it down a little? Don't get me wrong - the "later year" stares were still jarringly intense. But oh boy - was he absolutely out of control during their baby Puppets days. (2008 interviews? Zero control. Power stare. Looks like he'll devour him any second).

pre-TAOTU and TAOTU era were just zero control, intense stares 99% of the time.

Later eras - same intensity - just slightly less frequent. (The way I see it).
