This is one of my all time favourite fics and I've wanted to draw something for it since I first read it. I must have read this fic a dozen times in the last year and it has completely ruined my brain

But, for when you come for my aft, because with the way how things are going it looks like the war might start back so you're allowed to hunt again, please do not give me an impromptu literature lesson as I am talked to death by your voice™, as one last favor as one of friends from before the war back when we attended the academy together and for a little while after when we had unofficially joined the police force. I do not need to be having flashbacks to the suffering we endured in the actual literature class. "

Perfect grammar and everything and homeboy Tarn replies with:

"Firestarter!?"

Like mans didn't even know she defected until she brought it up. Then he follows that up with:

"Just because you asked, when we do make our way down to you, even though I hate everything about my pre war self, I will paint myself in my old colours, find a way to change my optic colour back to blue, and even have my old servos on my person to inflict maximum psychological damage. I will even not transform at all during our future encounter. "

Then one of the man's teammates, the one with two empty pits where his eyes should be response to this tread with:

"Old hands!?" and "why would you not transform for a whole encounter? That seems impossible for you to do".

He kind of was!??!!?? Cast away, ostracized, almost gone mad from loneliness and solitude. Like I feel that was a way for the animators to tell us it happened but without bringing the very dark concept of empurata in tf one-
