Big mental health/life post, because i really wanna put this stuff down on the page and could use the feeling of being heard right about now.
in the summer because of some unfortunate stuff i moved halfway across the country to live with my parents. then some other stuff happened that ended up incidentally triggering some really extreme bipolar episodes--that's why i was in the psych ward a couple months ago and also why i took an unannounced hiatus from this blog for most of october--and ever since then i've been just... struggling kind of a lot.
i feel disconnected from my art, my sexuality, cooking, music, and most things that have been important to me. i don't feel the sense of home that i used to have out in texas. i'm anxious and down most of the time. i feel especially disconnected from the kink communities that used to be kind of the center of my online social life. this has been a particularly difficult emotional blow to endure and a particularly large reason why i've felt so awful.
in the past month, i've developed an inexplicable social anxiety that's horrible to deal with as someone who's normally very outgoing and who used to find socializing very easy. now, though, i'm often just filled with self-doubt and panic while trying to socialize with people, which is making it incredibly difficult to keep building the new friendships i've started to foster out here in my new city.
i'm just doing the best i can every day, attending my IOP program, applying the skills i've been learning there as diligently as possible, keeping up with my hobbies (for as disconnected as i feel from art i'm still doing quite a bit of it, and picking up the banjo has done so much to sustain what little of my mental health i still have), getting out into nature, going to a lot of fun events (drag shows, happy hours, full moon rituals, ttrpg/boardgame nights, furry meetups, folk musician meetups, etc.) and hanging out with the folks i meet there as often as i'm able even despite all my newfound social anxiety, but even with all that i'm just... persistently in emotional pain that i don't know how to effectively alleviate.
i know part of it is that i'm out of work, and i know having a job will give my life more structure, but i also know that's not the whole of what's happening here. i've been out of work before and it's not affected me this badly. it's also that i'm lonely, deeply unsure of myself after making some unwise decisions and having to face so many of my flaws, grappling with my disproportionate senses of shame, anxiety, and responsibility, yearning for more purpose and autonomy than i currently have, wanting to feel like i'm contributing to something larger than myself, and anxious after going through so much chaos and repeated disruption and loss.
i'm glad my IOP demands sobriety because it's been a struggle to not use alcohol as a crutch.
fucking... life. it's been a goddamn year for sure.

BACKSTORY SUMMARY:
Misha was born and raised in Russia. His fathers name being Tomas, a hitman there who occasionally kills in other countries too. At some point, his family moved to Ukraine where he lived for the rest of his early childhood. Olena, Misha's mother, was fully aware of this "business" Tomas had... And she was rather indifferent, being a cold and morbidly fascinated person herself.
Although eventually Misha noticed his parents becoming distant from each other and having more and more arguments. They would never share with him what these arguments were about, they were always kept secret from him. His mother finally left them a year or so later, and it wasn't long until Tomas took Misha and moved to America. Misha didn't understand why such measures had to be taken at the time. Why did mother leave? Why did they have to move?
After several years since moving to America, Misha had eventually forgotten about his mother. He was 17 with a new start at life, and his father worked to train him well in the field of killing. Tomas's goal was for Misha to take over the "business" someday, which Misha wasn't against since it'd been what he was raised for. Though it wasn't like he didn't like killing either.
One day, Tomas had gone away for a week on a mission, leaving Misha alone in the house. During the boredom, Misha eventually found himself going through his father's belongings since it'd always been off limits before.
He would come to discover that Tomas and him had been getting hunted down by the Russian Mafia as revenge for Tomas killing one of their members, which explained his mother's departure early on. It explained everything that happened, why they moved.
With weeks passing with his father absent paired with this new information, Misha grew paranoid until a package showed up at their doorstep to confirm his fears. Fearing for his life, he fled until he had wiped himself off the map.
Going on 22 now, Misha has found himself a somewhat safe and desolate location in Texas, having hidden himself away in an abandoned apartment building. Having slipped into madness, he's continued murdering in exchange for money and other satisfactions while having the dayjob of being a pharmacist.
Special thanks to @oddogoblino for proofreading + co-writing the background summary!
Special thanks to @whimster and @dexsmex for their psychoanalysis on Misha's personality!

... In light of the last thing I reblogged, since I'm not actually sure if I ever I ever told folks here...
Mental health/medical diagnosis info under the cut.
I was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2010 following the birth of my son. I'd had anxiety, depression, and what I now know is OCD symptoms for years at that point, but they all got much worse after kiddo was born. I believe I've shared here before that I was very ill while pregnant, and nearly died before and during my emergency C-section that bright kiddo into the world. I have very few memories of my pregnancy but the ones I do have are impressed into my brain like the world's most depressing stamp collection: not neat pictures, but deep grooves that form shapes and can be laid over one another to see the cumulative chaos, the terror that I still feel every time someone puts a blood pressure cuff around my arm, the dissociation from my body that I still have because all I can remember was it hurting.
I had cptsd before I ever got pregnant, but my pregnancy made my symptoms so much worse, and a doctor who spoke to me for three seconds gave me the "convenient" diagnosis of bipolar disorder. I was a young woman in college, it was 2010, and he never asked me anything about my life. This diagnosis wasn't corrected until 2022.
I'm sharing this because in the past I frequently blogged about being bipolar. I wasn't bipolar though. What I thought was mania was just my behavior when I was triggered beyond my ability to ignore. What I thought was depression was... Well, it was depression. My life was miserable, my ex is a horrible human being who deserves to be thrown in a deep pit full of snakes, my family hates me and acts like it, I lived in Texas of all places, and on top of that I was working in a dead end job that I couldn't ever seem to escape.
In 2020, I was fortunate enough to move in with my friend LC and her family. We weathered the worst of lockdown together, our children becoming close friends, and I'm grateful for the time, energy, space, and love LC afforded me to begin recovering from a lifetime of wounds.
I'm 2021, I moved to New York state to live with my best friend, my heart's companion, @tofixtheshadows. Dea has been the best partner I could want as I grappled with my changing sense of self, the sheer madness and unreality of what my life used to be. I am so fortunate to call her my best friend and to be able to share my life with someone who knows me and wants to help me be better.
I found a psychiatrist in 2022 who changed my life when she said, "I believe everything you say that happened to you. I think bipolar disorder is a convenient diagnosis for a man to give a traumatized young woman when he isn't interested in doing his job well. You aren't bipolar, Anne. You have PTSD."
I was shocked. I shouldn't have been, since I already knew Dea thought I had PTSD. But it seemed so out of left field to me, that... Well, that maybe there hadn't been anything inherently wrong with me in the first place, as I had been led to believe, but that the years of horrible actions happening around and to me had just taken their toll.
It was liberating. Scary, but good.
I've been working with my psychiatrist and a therapist since to try and build more tolerance, better coping skills, and to process my trauma. It's slow going. Life doesn't stop because I need EMDR. But it's ultimately been so rewarding, and I'm still only in the early stages of the work.
Last year, for basically the first time in my adult life, I was able to go off of all my mood altering medications. I just didn't need them anymore.
I'm still in treatment and working toward goals that will probably take a while. But I am happy. I'm actually happy for the first time in my entire life. And to me, that's pretty much everything.

Farmers Fear ‘Forever’ Chemicals (NYT) For decades, farmers across America have been encouraged by the federal government to spread municipal sewage on millions of acres of farmland as fertilizer. It was rich in nutrients, and it helped keep the sludge out of landfills. But a growing body of research shows that this black sludge, made from the sewage that flows from homes and factories, can contain heavy concentrations of chemicals thought to increase the risk of certain types of cancer and to cause birth defects and developmental delays in children. Known as “forever chemicals” because of their longevity, these toxic contaminants are now being detected, sometimes at high levels, on farmland across the country, including in Texas, Maine, Michigan, New York and Tennessee. In some cases the chemicals are suspected of sickening or killing livestock and are turning up in produce. Farmers are beginning to fear for their own health. The national scale of farmland contamination by these chemicals—which are used in everything from microwave popcorn bags and firefighting gear to nonstick pans and stain-resistant carpets—is only now starting to become apparent.
A Leading Chain of Psychiatric Hospitals Is Trapping Patients (NYT) Acadia Healthcare is one of America’s largest chains of psychiatric hospitals. Since the pandemic exacerbated a national mental health crisis, the company’s revenue has soared. Its stock price has more than doubled. But a New York Times investigation found that some of that success was built on a disturbing practice: Acadia has lured patients into its facilities and held them against their will, even when detaining them was not medically necessary. In at least 12 of the 19 states where Acadia operates psychiatric hospitals, dozens of patients, employees and police officers have alerted the authorities that the company was detaining people in ways that violated the law, according to records reviewed by The Times. In some cases, judges have intervened to force Acadia to release patients. Some patients arrived at emergency rooms seeking routine mental health care, only to find themselves sent to Acadia facilities and locked in. A social worker spent six days inside an Acadia hospital in Florida after she tried to get her bipolar medications adjusted. A woman who works at a children’s hospital was held for seven days after she showed up at an Acadia facility in Indiana looking for therapy. And after police officers raided an Acadia hospital in Georgia, 16 patients told investigators that they had been kept there “with no excuses or valid reason,” according to a police report.
What Happens When Half a Million People Abandon Their City (NYT) It was once a thriving metropolis in the heart of oil country in Venezuela. That city, Maracaibo, no longer exists. Today, the city is rife with abandoned houses, some of which look like bombs were dropped on them, because homeowners tore windows and roofs off to sell for scrap before they took off on journeys to Colombia, Chile and the United States. Middle-class neighborhoods are filled with for sale signs and overgrown yards. Fewer cars drive down the streets, and fewer criminals are around to steal them. Christmas dinners, once packed with noisy relatives, are lonely affairs aided by webcams. Nearly eight million people—more than a quarter of the population—have fled Venezuela in recent years, driven out by economic misery and political repression. Nowhere is that exodus more staggeringly acute than in Maracaibo, which has been hollowed out by the loss of about half a million of its 2.2 million inhabitants.
A Norwegian princess marries an American self-styled shaman (AP) Social media influencers, reality stars and TV personalities were among the guests as the Norwegian king’s eldest child, Princess Märtha Louise, married an American self-professed shaman on Saturday in a wedding ceremony following three days of festivities. The 52-year-old Märtha Louise and Durek Verrett, who claims to be a sixth-generation shaman from California, tied the knot in the picturesque small town of Geiranger, one of Norway’s major tourist attractions located on a fjord with stunning views. Märtha Louise and Verrett, 49, have attracted headlines with their alternative beliefs. She is fourth in line to the Norwegian throne but said in 2022 that she’ll no longer officially represent the Norwegian royal house. The princess—she has retained the title—has said she can talk with angels, while Verrett claims that he communicates with a broad range of spirits and has a medallion which helps ward off spells and cure diseases.
Pope embarks on longest, farthest and most challenging trip to Asia (AP) If any evidence were needed to underscore that Pope Francis’ upcoming trip to Asia and Oceania is the longest, farthest and most challenging of his pontificate, it’s that he’s bringing along his secretaries to help him navigate the four-country program while keeping up with work back home. Francis will clock 32,814 kilometers (20,390 miles) by air during his Sept. 2-13 visit to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, East Timor and Singapore, far surpassing any of his previous 44 foreign trips and notching one of the longest papal trips ever, both in terms of days on the road and distances traveled. That’s no small feat for a pope who turns 88 in December, uses a wheelchair, and lost part of a lung to a respiratory infection as a young man. The long trip recalls the globetrotting travels of St. John Paul II, who visited all four destinations during his quarter-century pontificate. By retracing John Paul’s steps, Francis is reinforcing the importance that Asia has for the Catholic Church, since it’s one of the few places where the church is growing.
Russia says it downed over 150 drones in one of the biggest Ukrainian drone attacks of the war (AP) Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 158 Ukrainian drones overnight, including two over the city of Moscow and nine over the surrounding Moscow region, the defense ministry said Sunday. Forty-six of the drones were over the Kursk region, where Ukraine has sent its forces in recent weeks in the largest incursion onto Russian soil since World War II. A further were 34 over the Bryansk region, 28 over the Voronezh region, and 14 over the Belgorod region—all of which border Ukraine.
For the people of Moscow, Kursk is very far away (NZZ/Switzerland) In Moscow, as elsewhere in Europe, another wave of hot summer weather has arrived. The long, three-month school vacation is coming to an end. Young and old stroll along the Boulevard Ring in the city center with its tree-lined green strip in the middle. The city government has organized summer attractions here and in some parks. There are stands selling local products, games and entertainment for children. With the Ukrainian advance in the Kursk border region around 800 kilometers south of Moscow, the war with Ukraine has reached Russian territory. Nevertheless, hardly any of this is reflected in the streets or in society's behavior. The war is far away and not an issue—as long as it does not intrude into the very private reality of a family's life. The Ukrainian invasion of Kursk has not changed this. After Russia invaded Ukraine, there was rebellion against the war. But the regime's crackdown and repressive laws, which have been tightened practically every month since then, have left most opponents of the war in the country with only two options—leave or remain silent. The war has become part of the reality that anyone who wants to continue living in Russia with any degree of peace has to come to terms with. They accept the war and all its effects as the new normal. Some compare it to the weather: An individual cannot influence whether it rains or the sun shines.
Japan woos military recruits with bigger steaks and better beds (Financial Times) Japan is touting better bunks and bigger steaks in an effort to address a yawning shortfall in military recruitment as the country’s population shrinks and ages. The plan to improve living conditions on military bases is part of a recruitment drive as Japan ramps up spending on its Self-Defense Forces to counter growing global instability, including a rising threat from China and North Korea. More practical efforts include a promise of improved showers and toilets, and greater privacy in sleeping quarters. Money will be allocated to building individual “capsule” style sleeping rooms on naval vessels. The recruitment campaign in the past year has also focused on the size and quality of steaks served at various army bases. Like all employers in Japan, the SDF is having to fight a persistent enemy: demographics. The country’s working-age population is shrinking and the number of young people is in long-term decline.
Israel recovers the bodies of 6 hostages in Gaza (AP) Israel on Sunday said it had recovered the bodies of six hostages in Gaza, including a young Israeli-American man who became one of the most well-known captives held by Hamas as his parents met with world leaders and pressed for his release. The military said all six had been killed shortly before the arrival of Israeli forces trying to rescue them. Their recovery sparked calls for mass protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom many families of hostages and much of the wider Israeli public blame for failing to bring them back alive in a deal with Hamas to end the 10-month-old war. Negotiations over such a deal have dragged on for months. Netanyahu expressed sorrow over the deaths and said Israel would hold Hamas accountable for killing them in “cold blood.” he said the killings prove that the militant group does not want a cease-fire agreement.
As Israel Keeps Fighting in West Bank, Residents in One Battle Zone Reel From the Damage (NYT) Residents of Tulkarm in the Israeli-occupied West Bank assessed the damage on Saturday from a raid by Israeli forces that has chewed up roads, brought sudden bouts of violence and left many Palestinians reeling. Hundreds of Israeli soldiers swept into cities in the northern West Bank this week with columns of armored vehicles and bulldozers, clashing with militants and leaving many people trapped in their homes without running water or internet. One family said that a relative with mental illness was shot dead during the raid, his body left untended for hours during the violence. In the Nur Shams neighborhood—a focus of the raid—workers and residents cleared away dirt and rubble churned up by Israeli bulldozers searching for improvised explosive devices. “Cars can’t move through the streets, everyone is making their way on foot, because the dirt is piled up in huge mounds,” said Suleiman Zuhairi, a resident of Nur Shams and a retired official in the Palestinian Authority. At least 22 Palestinians have been killed since the raid started on Wednesday.

Mental Health
I strongly believe that Keith is bipolar. Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t read this if it could trigger you!!! I don’t know your triggers but I can tell you that this contains descriptions of mental disorders, discrimination because of said mental disorders, trust issues, and self-degradation. (I think that's it.) Oh and there's a kind of unresolved ending, but it fits with the show, so I think you can just infer the rest. I have never experienced what I am writing about, so if I get anything wrong or write anything offensive, please message me!!! Thank you!
He never had a name for his angry feelings until his 23rd foster family took him to the doctor after he had a furious meltdown.
The label “bipolar” was everywhere after that.
It went in his file, every grownup in the orphanage would shake their head when they saw him, and potential familiar were warned of his “condition” before they even met him.
If the thought of taking care of a “mental” kid didn’t scare people off, his own actions and explosive tendencies did.
Shiro came by with his flight simulator and made Keith feel strangely whole. For some reason, the flying and astonished praise from others both fed and beat down the constant boiling fury in his chest.
For once, the overwhelming emotion was not aggression, but confidence.
2 months. That’s how long he managed to go before Shiro read his file at the garrison and found out.
Shiro had come up to him gently and tried to speak with Keith about it.
Keith crumbled.
Right when he was finally safe and maybe even wanted, the only person who actually cared would now hate him and leave just like everyone else.
You have no one else to blame.
This is all your fault.
He hates you now.
He’ll leave you behind for someone more predictable, some one sane.
He’ll leave you just like your parents will.
Before Keith knew it, he was hugging himself and going down his dark spiral. Down, down, down. It was endless.
There was a hand reaching for him. He flinched away sharply, not wanting to be hit.
A voice: "Oh, Keith. Can I hug you, bud?"
The small part of Keith that was not diving deeper into his own hateful thoughts wanted to lash out. He wanted to yell, to tell Shiro to back off, to tell him that Keith had survived this long on his own, he could survive on his own forever. People are unreliable.
However, when the arms moved closer, he found himself allowing it.
He didn't hug back, or say anything, or try to push the gesture away.
He was just being.
He finally came back enough to notice tears streaming steadily down his face.
Right as he stared to rub them away, he realized that it was Shiro comforting him.
"Why aren't you gone? Why aren't y-you leaving? It's fine if you do, I'll deal with it if you do. I always do."
Shiro just held on tighter.
"Never. You are my family now Keith, do you understand me? And in this family, we never leave anyone."
Keith was brought back suddenly to a distant memory.
He was in his old home, his real home in the middle of Texas, with nothing but his dad's huge arms embracing him.
The dams opened once again and allowed saltwater to flow down his cheeks once again.
The overwhelming emotions were comfort, joy, and safety.
"Alright. Thank you, Shiro."
They stayed like that until the sun went down, and all they could see was pitch black and the teary shine of each other's eyes.
Keith was going to be okay.
Or at least, that's what he thought until Shiro was deemed dead on the Kerberos mission.

I’m not complaining about the weather. Not when I know how cold it is in many places. Kim just pointing out the bipolar-like winter patterns here in Texas. When I see a mention of -5° windchill temps possible less than 48 hours after it being almost 70 degrees it makes me feel uneasy.

One week after Megan Thee Stallion issued a public plea for people to "stop using [her] shooting for clout," the Southern Black Girls & Women's Consortium shared an open letter of support for the rapper denouncing violence against women and praising her bravery.
Megan, 27, was allegedly shot in the foot by singer Tory Lanez, 30, in July 2020, and he was charged that October with two felony counts. He pleaded not guilty to both charges.
In the years since, she has been forced to face critics who support Lanez, and in June, said she felt as though she had become "the villain" in the situation.
In the Consortium's letter, which was shared on Thursday, more than two dozen signees including #MeToo founder Tarana Burke, Planned Parenthood CEO Alexis McGill Johnson, Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Sheila Jackson Lee, activist Tamika Mallory and Angela Rye joined forces to offer their vocal support of the star, who partnered with the Consortium on the inaugural Joy Is Our Journey tour in August.
The letter is addressed to the "Plan B" rapper, and begins by praising her meteoric rise to fame and continued success, which make her an "inspiration" to "women all over the world."
"You're a special kind of talent and a special kind of person; the place you hold in your fans' hearts is a testament to that," the letter says. "As you've risen to the top, you've also had to endure a lot of obstacles along the way. In the face of triumph and tragedy alike, you always keep your head held high, maintain your poise and push forward."
Still, it goes on to acknowledge that the Grammy-winning star has "been treated in ways that no young woman—no person at all—should be treated. It must be said that our culture has failed you, one of its most brightly shining daughters."
Though Megan has repeatedly labeled Lanez an "abuser," she's had to endure many people in the industry supporting him. Earlier this month, Drake appeared to accuse her of making up the shooting in the lyrics to his song "Circo Loco."
"And when the mf facts come out remember y'all hoe ass favorite rappers that stood behind a N— that SHOT A FEMALE," Megan replied on Twitter. "People attack me y'all go up for it , i defend myself now I'm doing too much … every time it never ends and this did NOT happen until I came out and said I got shot … y'all don't [f— with me] okay cool f— it bye."
The letter calls out the "public harassment and taunting" Megan received from Lanez and his supporters, and says she's "consistently been clear about what happened" to her, but has not received the support she should.
Megan Thee Stallion Responds After Drake Seems to Accuse Her of Lying About Tory Lanez Shooting
"You don't deserve any of this, Megan," it reads. "You deserve to be heard, to be believed, and most importantly, to be safe."
The letter continues with a more general plea to continue supporting and believing victims of domestic violence, particularly Black women, who the letter says are often "fearful of what will happen to their assailant if they choose to involve the law… and are left unprotected by the system and the community alike."
Megan has said that she was shot by Lanez, whom she considered a friend, after an argument broke out between her, her friend and Lanez as they drove home from a poolside get-together at Kylie Jenner's house.
An LAPD detective testified at a preliminary hearing in December that Lanez shouted "Dance, bitch!" before shooting.
The "Luv" singer was charged in October 2020 with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He pleaded not guilty to both charges in November 2020.
Lanez was ordered to house arrest and electronic monitoring in October, and will reportedly stay monitored through the scheduled start of his trial on Nov. 28.
Read the Consortium's letter in full below.
Dear Megan,
You are larger than life in many ways; your name is in lights, your face on billboards, your songs in the history books…and this is still just the beginning of your story. In a very short amount of time, you've achieved success probably beyond your wildest dreams, and it seems that each day brings a new announcement about something amazing you've done or are preparing to do. Women all over the world consider you an inspiration, in part because you make them feel good about themselves. You're a special kind of talent and a special kind of person; the place you hold in your fans' hearts is a testament to that.
As you've risen to the top, you've also had to endure a lot of obstacles along the way. In the face of triumph and tragedy alike, you always keep your head held high, maintain your poise, and push forward. However, while so many of us celebrate you for your strength and perseverance, it must be said that you have been treated in ways that no young woman–no person at all–should be treated.
It must be said that our culture has failed you, one of its most brightly shining daughters. In July of 2020, you experienced a violation of the highest order at the hands of someone whom you considered a friend. Since then, you've had to endure public harassment and taunting not only from that person but from others choosing to stand with him. Bloggers have circulated rumors and excitedly reported on the most traumatic experience of your life as if it were juicy gossip, often perpetuating the idea that you've got a reason to lie, that you shouldn't be believed. You've consistently been clear about what happened to you, but instead of being met with widespread support, people who should have had your back have chosen to stay out of the matter.
You don't deserve any of this, Megan. You deserve to be heard, to be believed, and most importantly, to be safe.
There is no amount of power or prestige that can prevent a woman from becoming a victim of violence and there is no level of achievement that exempts women from our society's complacency with that violence.
You may be a boss, the "hot girl coach," and a bonafide superstar, but that doesn't mean that you don't experience pain. No one is too 'bad,' too famous, too powerful to feel hurt. You've had to navigate this deeply difficult experience in the public eye, and while you've managed to stand strong and to keep showing up to work in spite of it all, it can't be understated how unfair it is that you're in this position to begin with.
Violence against women is still entirely too common and acceptable in our world. We make excuse after excuse to explain away even the most heinous acts, especially when the person accused is a celebrity of any sort. Being a celebrity, however, will not guarantee a woman any sympathy when she is a victim.
Black women are also often fearful of what will happen to their assailant if they choose to involve the law–as you yourself were afraid to do–and are left unprotected by the system and the community alike. If someone as influential as you can be belittled and mocked as nothing but a liar for standing up for herself, that speaks a volume about what a woman who doesn't have your resources or fame can expect to endure when she's found herself in a similar position.
An estimated one in three women worldwide has been the victim of sexual and/or domestic violence. Here in the United States, the numbers are higher for Black women, who also experience psychological abuse–such as humiliation, name-calling, and insults–at an increased rate. Women of all races, cis and trans, are suffering daily and we're all too complacent. From day one, you deserved a chorus of voices saying, "We believe you, Megan," and though you may not have been able to hear us sooner, know that we are with you now and every step of the way as you continue to heal from this tragedy. We are committed to making the world safer for you and all women, and one of the important steps that we must take to get there is to make it so that women who have been victims of violence can speak about their experiences without being attacked or dismissed.
You've been so strong, Megan, but that's not what we should demand nor expect from you. You deserve the space to cry, mourn and heal as you see fit without having to worry about being judged for having a human reaction to a personal tragedy.
Even in the midst of your own traumatic experience and healing, you recognized that other girls needed to experience joy and partnered with Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium on the inaugural Joy Is Our Journey tour impacting thousands of girls across the south. You have remained committed to the focus of mental health and well being in our community even when your own has been minimized, marginalized, and deemphasized. We want you to know that you are important and you matter to us and to millions of women around the globe. Your life matters. Your work matters. Your joy matters. You deserve joy. We stand with you.
We salute you for the bravery it has taken to defend yourself in the court of public opinion, though you shouldn't have had to do so at all. We raise our voices against those who have made light of this heinous example of violence against women and will drown them out with our demands for society to take what happens to Black women seriously. You are not alone. You are believed, loved, and supported.
We stand with you Megan.

Catholics are smart....I wasn't treated for shock for years so that is what the citrus company will confess to
I'm not upset about the reproductive side effects from the attempted high medication dosages at pacific grove which stopped because my Jewish doctor told me all he will do with western science and I kept telling the doctor at pacific grove my Jewish doctor is correct about westernism
I was like their Jewish and it's dumb obvious things Jewish people are conservative and pro life and I'm tired of my Jewish doctor being questioned
If I would keep going at them to not offend a professional male and no a lot they finally just did what jary barreto did
Christianity these days is experimental with a lot of atheists...which after my birth father died I wasn't allowed to remember much of my early childhood or raided on by the native
So to have a strong politic from a conservative right you have to go to rabbi....who will shoot or as a poor woman I just don't know who does have medical rights to consent
But I'm 43 so I've settled into an earth politic of vows of abstinence and the world has enough people not reasoning above survival
So I have already accomplished a no matricide body that my mother can live vicariously through
I wanted my mother to see something the genetic form could have been without medical alteration and deliberate experimental harm
Their neo Nazis...so the family genetics are to blame instead of twin theory and the Texas police....so no I wasn't birth traumatized
Great my body is donated to science then and now you know that.....
No the baby likes me better.....see she likes it
White mostly areas like Murrieta and this inland mountain county dont have a home water law suit like San Diego county.....so it's non violence it's long routines of showers without aid of medical intervention to show that my skin with fragrants soaps is healthy and normal
There was a disinfectant under the kitchen sink
And now the German let you know that
Will you watch me your mom has to tell me I may Watch you
I told them I was crying because it's been years and years of being sent to people who have little rules or little legislations of non obligation or can't help they won't stop sending me to people who can't help
North Minnesota police and hoods after rawanda there are dangerous felons housed so my life wouldn't be safer placed here
They won't care for dangerous felons they keep leaving them in slightly questionable housing till they lash out and jail them again they won't build infrastructure that will care for dangerous guilty felons
They won't take care of the guilty
There is a conflict problem they could remove legally a lot of males from low income reconstruction but having to have their things and people prefer a new foundation to their ambiance
That was her brothers room don't touch notice the energy
Who will clean this?.......if they shut down Winnebago mental asylum the German alcohol unions would fail or suffer huge financial losses for indigenous elderly information in the clean.....or don't put that there
Maybe spend a few years attempting a for charity cleaning organization for disenfranchised elderly before a psychological paper?
Bipolar to me looks like delirium tremens or she can't get off the drinks because sobriety is a clean of an asylum
Positive clean cancer till negative alcohol organics

Hello hi. I don’t really like to post about my mental health issues, but I’m alone and scared and want to be a part of a community.
About the alters and such under the read more
About us:
We have 5 alters: Dusty, Dustin, Shay, Angel, Jessie, and Al.
About the alters:
Dusty: (she/they) The host/one that fronts most of the time and gets shit done. Mix of both optimistic and pessimistic, can handle and cope with our emotions better than the rest of us
Dustin: (he/him) The trauma holder, pessimistic
Shay: (she/her) Another one that fronts most of the time, usually stays back because just like Dustin they have trauma they’re sorting out. They’re not the primary trauma holder, but one. Usually optimistic.
Angel: (she/her) Doesn’t front unless she needs to, kinda like a “mom”
Al: (he/him) Protector, only comes out when things get really bad and no one else can front
Jessie: (any) Dormant right now, they’re the one that causes harm to the body and system the most.
If you'd like to know which posts are made by which of us we usually tag it #(name) posting
We are not an endo system, we’re a system that was formed due to a lot of trauma that happened in our life. We’re diagnosed with CPTSD, schizoaffective, and DID. Diagnosed with CPTSD recently, originally PTSD for many years. Diagnosed with schizoaffective for 3 years, used to be diagnosed bipolar for many years. Diagnosed with DID a little over a year ago, still learning how to switch and cope.
We don’t know how to switch without being triggered. We can’t control our switches. We’re still learning our triggers. We’re also still learning how to communicate with each other and it’s a bit difficult.
We don’t talk about our mental health openly that much because we don’t want to be fake claimed and doxxed because someone thinks we’re fake, we don’t want to stumble into syscourse and have people purposely trigger us because they don’t like our opinions, I mainly made this blog because I want to be able to vent somewhere, and hopefully have other people help me cope with this hellish bullshit.
We’ve tried getting therapy but we have no insurance and every sliding scale therapist within our budget tells us we have to go to a specialist because they’re “not qualified to help us with the issues we have and need someone who specializes in it” fuck Texas psychiatry am i rite lmao. Specialists cost like $100-300 per visit and we can’t afford that at all when all of our money goes towards bills, gas, and taking care of the kids. So if anyone has any advice on what we can do, pls let me know. And no, we will not use Better Help. I’d rather rip my fingernails off.
Might sometimes post syscourse and hot takes occationally but I don't feel like arguing most of the time.

In the sunshine state of Florida, surrounded by beauty all around whether it is the long sandy beaches, diverse cultural groups or the great weather, it is very important to note that there are many Floridians struggling with mental health disorders. Headline: Mental health, which is the state of an individual’s psychological, emotional and social health is an important aspect of general health. It pervades thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; decides how one deals with stress or reacts to someone, or even makes a decision. In Florida mental health has to be taken as a vital issue to address due to certain characteristics such as demography and living conditions in Florida state.
Understanding Mental Health
It can therefore be defined as the state of wellness, wholeness and synchronicity in our minds. It is a mental condition that enables individuals to handle commonplace sources of stress, to withstand the pressures of daily living, to go to work, to nurture, to build, and to participate in the society. The most frequent mental disorders include: anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD. These factors may obviously affect one’s well-being and functioning across the different domains of his or her daily existence and interpersonal contacts, as well as influence his or her physical well-being.
Alternatively, Delaney et al. (2016) highlight common mental health issues faced by kids in Florida.
Florida has several tendencies concerning mental health issues some of which are peculiar to the state. The large population in Texas also has varied demographics with a large aging population, war veterans, and immigrants and all these segmentaion comes with different mental health concerns. The elderly can experience loneliness and the onset of cognitive impairments; veterans can have PTSD and the challenges of reintegration into civilian life; immigrants can make stressful adapting to a new culture and being away from their families.
Furthermore, crises including hurricanes also affect mental health problems in the country. This may result to higher levels of anxiety and depression by the time families have to plan and prepare for such events and even when briefing family, the stress involved as well as the results. The current COVID-19 pandemic has also revealed the prevalence of a mental health issue, with many Floridians struggling with stress, loneliness and/or inability to plan for the future.
INCIDENCE ACCESS TO MENTAL HEALTH Initially, it is important to assess the state of incidence access to mental health building on the current knowledge to formulate meaningful recommendations.
It is important to note that health care involving mental health remains to be a major concern for people in Florida. Although, there has been an increased concern for mental health there is still a limited number of healthcare workers to deal with patients suffering from mental illnesses. The available information provided by the Florida Behavioral Health Association reveals that the state has one of the lowest levels of access to behavioral health care in the United States – even higher than more populous and developed states – ranking 49th. It will is actually worse in the rural areas because people living here may sometimes have to travel for long distances to access care from the few facilities in existence.
Insurance coverage for mental health services is also a factor that continues to pose a challenge. As per the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, insurance companies are required to offer mental health benefits on a par with physical health benefits; however, this remains an issue for many Floridians as their insurance fails to cover the needful treatments.
Promoting Mental Well-being
Stigma, lack of awareness, inadequate funding, and self-stigma are the primary barriers which hinder the progress of mental health promotion and prevention internationally, and the reduction of stigma and discrimination involves variety of strategies including developing policies, forming support within the local communities and making changes within ourselves. Here are some strategies that can help:Here are some strategies that can help:
1. Community Support: Supporting community entails hosting single and cooperative a group working together towards achieving specific goals. A support group and local based organizations will be very helpful to kids in need as they offer them a place where they fit in. For instance, NAMI Florida encompasses of educating, counseling as well as advocating for people living with mental disorder.
2. Access to Care: Mental health is an important aspect of the wellbeing of the community and the population and it is important to seek more ways to improve access to mental health services. Telehealth has become a reliable medium, especially in the areas where medical practitioners and specialists are scarce. One is it scales up the accessibility of therapy and counseling services and from the ease of one’s home hence eradiculating the reluctance to visit clinics that deal with mental health.

Policy and Advocacy Code of ethical conduct and policy at different stages and across different states Different types of advocacy: Individual, systemic, self-advocacy, and groups
This paper further explains the more ways to enhance mental health care in Florida through policy and advocacy. Mental health advocates can lobby to garner more funds for mental and emotional health services, insurance companies can be persuaded to expand coverage for mental health services and government can encourage legislation that supports mental health programs. It is the processes of interacting with policymakers, and being a member of or attending advocacy group that will foster the kind of change that will enhance the mental health care delivery and access.
Personal Stories: It never hurts to have a human touch A little bit of compassion and care can go such a long way It is, in fact, indispensable It makes me feel grateful to be alive, to be able to help people It warms the heart to know that one can brighten up another’s day
These are real people whose lives have been impacted and changed behind the daily numbers we hear every day. Let us try to define the problem by considering Jane, a middle-aged woman from Miami, who had an acute case of anxiety. By connecting with a local community agency and working with a kind and understanding therapist remotely, Jane was able to find ways to move forward and start healing step by step. Having such stories of experiences like Jane’s shows that mental health care and individual support are critical aspects for individuals to seek.
For example, a man called Mike served in the army and after getting a discharge he was struggling with severe PTSD in Jacksonville. Fortunately, Mike was determined to make a change and seek help; he was prescribed medication and therapy; he met other veterans; and, finally, he participated in various community events. It was also about the need to provide interventions to groups in particular to serve everyone’s needs for mental health care.
