Went to Texas Frightmare Weekend with @crooked-incisors for our birthday and this was my haul!

My prized possession is now this guy from The Howling that both Dee Wallace and Joe Dante signed. It was the last one of a very limited sculpt just for this event and when I handed it to Dee she asked if I had checked out his ass

Which I had and was very impressed 😂

I flew all the way out to Texas and got to meet Sam and Ted Raimi! And it was wonderful.

They're both charming and polite men, and took the time to listen to me ramble a bit.

I'm so happy that now I have Sam Raimi's writing with me always.

Michael Ironside has made a career of hard-ass, mean, tough guys. In reality, he's a soft-spoken, congenial fellow.

ME: cackling uncontrollably M.I.: That was shot on a dock in the rain in Boston. It was cold!

Roger Corman at Texas Frightmare Weekend

I was saddend to hear of the passing of the one-and-only Roger Corman. He was one of the most influential people in filmmaking and the man that helped launch Jack Nicholson, Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro, Ron Howard as a director, and so many more. I’m so glad I had the chance to meet him several years ago.

On April 30, 2011, Roger Corman was a featured guest at Texas Frightmare Weekend. With moderator John S. Wildman by his side, Mr. Corman delighted the audience with stories from his decades in film. I was able to capture a few pics from the entertaining session.
