@ user1: this is so ridiculous, he's literally just being used to get girls to watch F1 🙄
-> @ user2: I agree, he can't even drive
@ user3: CONGRATS FRANCOOOO #argentina 🇦🇷
@ williams: We're so grateful to have Franco on our team, and can't wait to see what he will achieve in these upcoming races!
Melbourne, Australia (2025)
There was no way you could ever do this. Get in a tiny metal race car and go spinning around in circles against nineteen others for almost two hours? That was a tall order for anyone, yet your brother always exceeded expectations. You watched him glide through the track, his papaya car shedding sparks as he pushed the engine to the max. He was incredible, carefully looping around and setting records.
It was his home race; nothing lesser would have been expected. Oscar needed to excel, to survive against the pressure. Over the past few weeks, it was like he was glued to the sim, practicing this circuit repeatedly, making sure every movement was executed flawlessly. This was the final countdown: FP2, meaning that in less than a day, Oscar's skills would be put to the test.
Behind you, your best friend Georgia, wolf-whistled. Lando Norris, Oscar's teammate, had just entered the paddock. His curly hair was obscured by his classic neon-green helmet, his race suit hanging loose around his waist. "I'm so ready..." You heard him say to Zach, and then you turned your attention back on Oscar, who was on his final practice lap.
The car moved around as if it were a dagger, slicing through the track like the weapon it was. When he finally slowed to a halt, you rushed to meet him. He exited the car, removing his helmet, chest heaving with exertion. "Hey, Y/N," he said, smiling.
"Hi, Osc! You did amazing!"
He flushed, not one for compliments. "Sure. Where's Mom?"
"I think she went inside because it was too hot. I'll go get her," you said brightly, trailing after him.
Oscar shook his head. "It's OK, don't worry. Stay out here a bit, I think Lando's about to go on."
"I don't really care about him," you blurted. "I was waiting until you were done to go walk around the track."
Oscar raised one eyebrow, but didn't say anything. Even though you were younger than him by only five years, he acted like you were still a child. You were eighteen, and just one semester away from going to uni! You wouldn't have constant supervision there.
"Mom said I could," you pouted. "You're not in charge of me, I'm an adult now."
"Yeah, but you can't read a map, and you're naive," Oscar pointed out. "You trust everyone."
You gave him a look. "Like that's a bad thing. Anyways, I'll see you later!"
Oscar hugged you quickly, his eyes watching you concernedly, and you rushed off to explore the circuit.
Tumblr media
Melbourne, Australia (2025 / continued)
You exited the McLaren paddock, tugging off your jacket and tying it around your waist securely. It had been a while since you'd been able to go to a Grand Prix; your parents hadn't let you because of all your studies. But this was Oscar's home race, and it was monumental. After months of arguing (and failed attempts at bribery), you'd finally convinced them to let you tag along.
The sun beat down on you, warming you from head to toe. It felt nice to finally feel a bit of a breeze, since you'd been cooped up in your room all week, prepping for your finals.
As you wandered through the grounds, you watched as fans cheered for their favorite drivers. You saw a few Australian flags here and there. One even had Oscar's face on it, next to a koala on a eucalyptus tree and a kangaroo, and you laughed.
You passed the Mercedes and Haas motor homes, where you saw Kimi Antonelli and Ollie Bearman talking. They were close to your age, and potential friends, but whenever you tried to talk to them, Oscar ushered you away.
"They're guys. And F1 drivers. They can't be trusted," he told you.
You rolled your eyes. "So that means I can't trust you."
Eventually, you found yourself in the Williams paddock, watching as they prepped the car for its final practice before the race. A man with the most attractive dimples you'd ever seen was talking animatedly with his race engineer, discussing potential strategies.
You were enthralled by his lilting accent, caught on every word and phrase. He finished with the race engineer and turned to his car, but then he stopped, noticing your presence.
You were wearing a bright orange blouse, and the jacket wrapped around your waist had Oscar's number on it, immediately incriminating you.
"Hello there," the man said, a grin dancing on his lips. "I'm Franco. And you are?"
Seven words, and you were hooked.

Two weeks after the Melbourne Grand Prix
You flopped down on your bed, feet kicked up in the air as you texted none other than Franco, the same driver you'd met in the Williams paddock. He was funny and flirtatiously silly, but he was smart too. You had a lot of conversations about your upcoming university days, and he gave great advice on the topic.
"You don't always have to listen to your brother," he texted you a few nights after you'd met. "You're your own person, cielo."
You two had bonded over your mutual love of horse riding, a hobby of yours that you were trying to continue despite all the stress of the past year. Franco sent you a few photos of his horse, and one where he was shirtless. You spent more time ogling that picture than you'd care to admit.
Talking to Franco was therapeutic, and you didn't want to hide the blossoming friendship (or more?) that you two had. But you knew how overly protective Oscar was of you. You didn't want to spark a rivalry that could play out poorly on track. It wasn't worth the drama.
You weren't going to avoid telling your brother forever, but you wanted to wait a while to make sure that you didn't give him an aneurysm for nothing. Franco had a reputation as a playboy, like all other F1 drivers, but he was still young and a rising star. He could be using you — at least, that's what the little voice in the back of your mind warned. It spent too much time listening and believing everything Oscar had told you.
There was a knock on your door, and you jumped, turning the screen off so that no one could see the conversation you'd been having.
I've never met a girl like you before.
You're my princesa, you know that? All pure and perfect. I wonder how long it would take for me to absolutely ruin you.
"Dinner's ready," your mother called through the door.
"Thanks, I'll be there in a minute!" you responded. Once you heard her footsteps recede, you texted Franco that you had to leave, and hurried outside, your cheeks blushing red.

The Confrontation:
You fidgeted under Oscar's heavy stare. Even through a phone screen, his brown eyes pierced you. "I need to tell you something, but you can't flip out, OK?" you said.
"Oh God, what did you do now?" Oscar responded, preparing for the worst.
You shook your head, putting your palms up in a gesture of surrender. "Nothing bad! I swear!" You hesitated. "Well...I've been talking to someone. A guy, for a bit now."
Oscar sucked in a breath. "Not Lando."
Your jaw dropped. "Absolutely not."
"Good. Who is it, then?"
You closed your eyes, praying to God that Oscar wouldn't explode from anger. "Um...Franco?" You waited for the name to register.
Oscar blinked. "The new Williams driver?"
You nodded. "Yeah, that's who it is."
"That's who you chose?"
"Yeah?" you questioned, cocking your head to the side in confusion. "Is there something I should know? I mean, other than the fact that he's a supposed playboy and —"
"— He's fine, I suppose," Oscar mused under his breath. "Just be careful, alright?"
You froze in shock. "Yeah, I will be. Thanks for not freaking out."
"You're eighteen, I can't stop you from being romantically interested in someone. All I ask is that you don't engage in activities that should be done after marriage." Oscar pursed his lips. "I love you, Y/N. I'm always looking out for you."
"I know, and I'm thankful. You're the best older brother in the world."

Logan’s year in formula one hadn’t ended the best, but neither had yours. Logan was dropped by Williams Formula One Racing whereas you had been dropped by Arrow Mclaren due to an injury at the end of the indycar season that meant you’d missed too many races and it was in your contract that you couldn’t miss more than four races.
However, for you, being dropped by Arrow was probably the best thing that had ever happened because Andretti was allowed into Formula One. Offering you a place within formula one after your ‘Great work in Indycar’ you couldn’t help but accept the offer. Working with an American company also helped you decide.
Your first meeting in the Andretti office allowed you to meet your new team, your mechanics, your race engineer, your performance engineer, PR manager and everyone else who’d be surrounding you for most of the year. Your teammate wasn’t decided at this point, though.
However, when you went back for simulation testing, your new race engineer and performance engineer were waiting for you. Except your new teammate was also doing some simulation testing. Logan Sargeant.
You smiled over to him as you sat in the simulator. You were glad to see that he also got a second chance at racing. You knew he was a good driver. Just Williams didn’t have any trust in him, and the car wasn’t showing enough performance for him.
However, your simulation testing was a little different. Andretti knew you could reach the times they were looking for; they just wanted to ensure that after your injury you’d be ready to race by the time the new season started. Once both yours, and logan's teams had left, you walked over to him to see him practising
“Hey there” You smiled, leaning on the back of his seat
“Hey” He looked up with a smile
“So were teammates now huh” You smiled, and he nodded
“Yeah I guess so. What happened with Mclaren?” He asked. Motorsports in America wasn’t a big thing, so most drivers knew yeah other
“Broke my wrist and took longer than four races to heal, so they terminated my contract. I was mad at first. Fans were more than mad, but it’s in my contract. Getting injured isn’t on anyone’s agenda” You shrugged, looking at his data.
“Anyway keep testing” You hummed watching as he raced around Melbourne.
“I hate Melbourne” He mumbled, and you nodded
“Change your racing line a little. Turn two try to come off the brakes a little later. How’s your stats been racing here before?” You asked
“Twenty-three. I DNFed and twenty-four I got my car taken off me” He explained, and you nodded
“When was the last time you raced here?” He asked
“I did some testing for Mclaren two years ago? When I was their reserve driver but that was ages ago. Sim work every day almost though” You shrugged, and he nodded.
“I guess that makes sense” He shrugged, and you nodded.
“Oh look at that. See my tips work” You joked, walking over to grab your bag from your sim
“Thanks. Any more tips?” He asked, and you shook your head
“Not for Melbourne. When we move on, give me a shout” You hummed. Walking out of the simulator, you walked down to the cafeteria. The best thing about joining an American company is that although you were on diets to keep your body correct while racing, they still make the best typical American food even if it’s diet themed.
Thanking the woman behind the counter, you took a plate sitting down at one of the tables. Scrolling on your phone as you ate the chicken and rice. You hadn’t been announced for Andretti yet, but neither had Logan. They were waiting for the right time, apparently.
Although speaking to your race engineer, they wanted to wait until pre-season testing, but the FIA wasn’t allowing that. It had to be announced at least a month before pre-season testing. Posting a picture of the simulator on instagram, you closed the app, opening up the group chat where you streamed with a few friends, including Max Verstappen.
They were planning on streaming, but due to your training for going into Formula One. Looking up, Logan was sitting in front of you with his own plate of rice and chicken.
“This is so much better than Williams” He chuckled, and you laughed
“Yeah well first of all they’re British. Second of all it’s rice and chicken” You tilted your head to look at him.
“What’s your plan for this afternoon?” He asked
“Meeting with my performance engineer. She wants me to start my neck training” You huffed, and he laughed.
“Neck training isn’t that bad” He shrugged
“Yeah I know. I don’t mind neck training it’s just my friends have plans, and I’m missing it to torture my neck” You shrugged, and he nodded
“Fair enough. How are you feeling about coming on the grid?” He asked, and you looked at him. It’s something you’d never thought about
“Well. I’ve never actually thought about it, to be honest with you. I know Lando, Daniel, Carlos, Oscar, and Max, so I guess knowing some people helps? I obviously know Pato as well” You shrugged
“Yeah, getting to know people really does help. It’s my biggest regret hiding in the Williams garage and not getting to know new people” You nodded with a small smile
“Well let’s make a deal. This year. You and I make as many friends as possible. I know Max and Daniel are troublemakers, so they’ll make sure I get to know people, so you’ll just have to follow me about” You shrugged with a smile, and he chuckled
“That’s a deal L/N”
Tumblr media
A month later and you were now on the grid for pre-season testing sat in the Andretti garage just minding your own business as you watched Logan doing the testing, obviously sandbagging because the bosses didn’t want to show off what the car was able to do just yet.
A flash of colour caught the corner of your eye as you looked over spotting a couple other drivers looking into Logan’s part of the garage which was open for all to see unlike your side which was blocked off due to the floor of your car was off.
Pushing the headphones so they rested around your neck,, you walked over to the group of drivers who were being nosey about the garage.
“Hello boys” You hummed tilting your head as you stood trying to figure out what they were looking at.
“Y/N” Max smiled, giving you a quick hug
“What are you all looking at?” You asked confused, causing Max and Daniel to shrug
“No idea. Lando and Carlos just started staring at something” You looked back into the garage to see mechanics just sitting about. You shrugged, putting the headphones back on your head, shoving one side off so you could listen to them talk.
“How’s your wrist?” Daniel asked
“How's yours?” You asked, and he chuckled
“Fair enough, but honestly, how is it?” He asked again
“Physio is going well. Simulator work is going okay, and I guess we’ll see how actually driving goes when I get out there tomorrow” You shrugged
“You’re not going out today?” Max asked, and you shook your head
“Logan does today, I do tomorrow, and we both do the third day” You explained
“Ferrari’s doing that as well” Carlos nodded with a shrug as you quickly jogged into the garage, hearing Logan’s panicked voice through the radio.
“Jesus” You mumbled while watching the TV. Someone stopped on track right as Logan was doing a flying lap, causing him to go into the gravel trap. His panicked radio broke your heart, hearing him ask if he had done something wrong and the fact he had hurt himself trying to save himself from crashing into someone else. Biting your lip as the rest of the drivers stood next to you watching the TV.
“What happened?” Oscar asked with a frown
“Someone stopped on track during his flying trap” You explained, watching their facial expressions change as you were called over to the pit wall. Jogging over and standing behind Logan’s race engineer and your team principal
“Change of schedule. Logan’s floor is damaged so you’re going out this afternoon” You nodded slightly walking back into the garage knowing that you’re going to have to get changed out of the nice comfortable uniform Andretti had provided.
Tumblr media
Having changed into your fireproofs, you walked out to the garage to see the drivers talking to Logan. Walking over to him, you wrapped your arms around him from the side
“Hey, it’s not your fault. Don’t beat yourself up for it” You smiled up at him. Over the past month, you had become very close with Logan. Maybe a little closer than teammates should probably be, but you both had a lot in common, including being American.
“You’re going to do great though” He shrugged, and you looked him in the eyes
“Is your tongue okay? I heard you bit it” You frowned, and he nodded
“Yeah, it was bleeding a little, but by the time I got back here, it had stopped” He shrugged, and you nodded
“Okay” You nodded, accepting your equipment from your performance engineer. Most of the other drivers went back to their own garage.
As you put your earphones in and pulled the balaclava on your race engineer went over the plan for the afternoon. With a nod, you pulled your helmet on, ensuring it was tight before getting in the car. Pulling your gloves in as a mechanic placed your wheel in the car
“Radio check Y/N” They nodded
“Loud and clear” You smiled

a/n: here have more dizzy on the comedown verse while i struggle with insane writer's block for EVERYTHING else i'm working on. Title from Dizzy on the Comedown by Turnover, of course.
The car's shit.
It's all Max can think when he stumbles out of it, after the first day of pre-season testing. It feels like a wild horse, feels like there's never going to be any way he can tame it. Could blame it on himself, lack of experience, but Carlos looks equally annoyed about it, the look on his face impassive and dull.
"We'll talk about it, yeah?" Zak says, at some point. Claps them both on the back and herds them back towards the McLaren motorhome.
There's not a lot that he knows to talk about. Still getting used to it, getting used to this. Listens, with his lower lip caught between his teeth as Carlos rips the car to shreds. Is thankful, at least, that Carlos knows what he wants. Thinks, not for the first time, that it would be better Lando than him. Despite the fact that they've followed the same trajectory, sometimes he feels woefully underprepared.
Carlos pulls him aside later, claps him on the back and drags him to get a coffee. Max gets a tea instead, lets it sit and steep while he looks at Carlos. Opens his mouth, closes it again, feels so incredibly stupid, out of his depth, like nothing he's going to say is going to matter.
"You are needing to be more honest, yes?" Carlos tells him, and Max swallows around the lump in his throat. Nods. "They are being listening. You just must be talking."
It's a little easier then, maybe, to talk a little shit about the car, laughing about it, how it doesn't feel manufactured with either of them in mind. Like they tried to make it fast, and stumbled over their own feet.
They're getting up to go. Back to their respective hotel rooms, to get onto their respective flights. The last few days they have at home before the season starts, before they have to lock back into sim timings. Until they have to claw back whatever data they can from the cars to figure out what upgrades are needed.
Carlos reaches out, slaps him on the back, face friendly and open. "I am sorry about your Lando. He is okay, yes?"
It makes Max freeze in his tracks, nausea flip in his stomach. Thinks about unanswered texts, bitterness bursting on the back of his tongue. Thinks about the fact that all his updates have come from Cisca, Adam, Lando's siblings. The fact that his text message thread with Lando's gone unanswered since Lando texted him about the program release date.
Since he'd had to text Lando and tell him he'd be at the season opener in Melbourne that same day.
Max doesn't really think he's felt a silence so icy.
"Yeah, he's doing great, mate. Getting better every day." Forces a smile, but knows it feels hollow and haunted.
His phone lights up with a text, and then another, as he climbs into the car, tips his head back against the headrest, lets out a sigh. It feels like the weight of the day just sits heavier. It's easy to find himself hating the distance. Misses his parents, misses his siblings, misses Lando. Still can't stop himself from feeling like an imposter in the team. Can't stop himself from the churning guilt, curdling thick and cloying on the back of his tongue.
Sometimes, he thinks it never should've been him. Thinks Lando's got more talent in one finger than he's ever had in his life. Knows that everyone would fight him on it, but it's hard to see the other side.
Can't help but feel like he'd always been McLaren's second choice, despite the fact that it'd been him sitting in an office with Zak Brown and Andrea Stella while Lando had been in the press pen.
Miss you, buddy
Car's shit, if it helps at all
He sends the texts even though he's fairly certain they won't get answered, that they'll just fall into the glacial void between them. Thinks about texting Lando's mum again, and doesn't. Just glances at the good luck text message that he'd gotten from her, and swallows down the tears he can feel welling in his throat.
All of it feels so bittersweet.
Hope you're doing alright.
Can't wait to see you again
The texts, of course, go unanswered, and Max can feel his heart sinking in his chest. Wishes that he could at least be faced with something accusatory, with rage, with something more than the radio silence.

Somebody truly had the nerve to say Roman has never had to deal with or wrestle with injuries/set backs in his career and that he "could never power through like C*dy did with his torn pec". First of all, comparing how these two athletes deal with injuries is big fucking weird but since we're going there and I take my role of #1 Joe Anoa'i defender to heart what I'm not about to do is let y'all set up here on this internet and make it seem as if my Tribal Chief ain't ever fought through shit because this man is a WARRIOR, do you hear me???
(HE'S A TWO TIME LEUKEMIA SURVIVOR SINCE Y'ALL MOTHERFUCKERS LIKE TO FORGET HE KICKED CANCER'S ASS TOO.) Generally speaking, not just that situation but in many others in Joe's life, some of your faves would have folded. (especially those two yt men that run from company to company when they don't get their way) . Really this ain't shade to C*dy, I give him his props for powering through injuries and shit too. Most of these superstars have. And saying some of them would probably fold (hell, I would. Most of us would.) Isn't saying they're weak. I'm saying Roman is a badass on a different level and you can argue with your momma or with the wall on that one, not me.
List of injuries/illnesses known to us throughout Roman's career -
Back + Hip injury 2023 (Sumerslam, v Jey Uso.)
Ruptured Ear Drum 2022 (Survivor Series, v Kevin Owens who surprised him with a spot that was not planned and resulted in the injury. There however is no bad blood between the two.)

Shattered nose + Surgery 2016 ( v Triple H. See attached article https://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/2016-02-22/article/reigns-surgery)
Needed stitches May 2016 (live show, see photos https://www.wwe.com/worldwide/gallery/roman-reigns-receives-stitches-in-melbourne-australia-photos#fid-40042095)
Head Injury that required staples 2014 (https://youtu.be/OYMce1GDiDc?si=KtbVybtoQVr7FKDL)
Emergency surgery for Hernia 2014 (which he wrestled for some time while dealing with, see WWE.com article herehttps://www.wwe.com/shows/nightofchampions/2014/roman-reigns-breaking-news)
This list does not include FCW injuries, football injuries or his 2007 leukemia diagnosis durring which he was unhoused with a child on the way. And these are just the instances we know of!
Say what you will about Roman in kayfabe but do not minimize the struggles Joe has been through or his resilience. And if you're a Roman "fan" buying into the the rhetoric that he hasn't faced any adversity then as my dear friend @love-islike-abomb says, Please "Go whistle in the woods". IYKYK.

all or (Formula) n(One)
chapter five: Australia Grand Prix
ch1; ch2; ch3; ch4
description: “Now there’s that scarlet Ferrari! Car number 139 with the special insignia handwritten on display. A MKA that says, ‘this car is ready to race.’”
“Not just to race, Martin, but to win. To rebuild a car to that standard—to be so confident that it’s at least as good as previous with so little time…”
“Honestly, Alex, some races it just makes me wonder if maybe the signature is more of a good luck cast than a proper sign off.”
tag/disclaimer(s): written as camera angles and commentary between F1 radio hosts (Alex, Martin, guest Julian); eremika (Ferrari racer! eren jaeger x engineer/mechanic! mikasa ackerman); friends to lovers; formula one au
*Race day; Australia Grand Prix*
“It’s a beautiful day in Melbourne at Albert Park, home for the 2024 Australia Grand Prix. I’m Alex. I’m here with Martin and, today, we are joined by Julian, a former tech and analyst.”
“Julian, thanks for joining us today. Really excited to have a deeper analysis of the cars based on your experience.”
“Thanks so much for having me, Alex and Martin. Thrilled to be here and I already know we’ll have much to discuss during today’s race as both the McLaren and Ferrari are back in service this weekend after a full week of repairs.”
*camera follows Zeke as he walks around the McLaren garage.*
“There is Zeke Jaeger now, walking over to that repaired chassis.”
“I get a thrill whenever I see him, Martin! A top driver who was dropped after a great season, one who fully believed he would have to retire early due to the lack of a seat. Look at him now in that orange jumpsuit.”
*Camera follows Zeke as he walks around the orange chassis, talks to some McLaren engineers*
“It’s hard to believe he’s not counting down the number of races he has until Flock is set to return. I mean, you can just see that he is feeling the pressure to perform to keep that seat. Especially after the last racing weekend.”
“Well,” Martin laughs, “McLaren might have to make a decision on which driver they’d rather seat.”
Alex chuckles, “My money’s on the Jaeger brothers staying in those vibrant cars for this season.”
*camera shows Eren Jaeger in the Ferrari red jumpsuit wandering the paddock, talking to Mikasa and some other mechanics.*
*zooms in on Eren and Mikasa laughing, looking at each other. Eren instinctively leans closer to her.*
“That all depends on how they operate. Now, Julian, based on your expertise, do you think these cars will be running smoothly this weekend after that significant crash?”
“It’s hard to say, Martin, you’d really have to see the data on how the cars performed during testing. But based on those Ferrari sprint and qualifying results on Saturday, it’s really hard to believe that MKA Ferrari is not in racing condition.”
*camera zooms in on Eren as Mikasa helps him don the headgear and helmet. Eren’s talking to her. She’s chuckling. inaudible*
“Quite amazing, really, how Ferrari managed to repair the car like nothing even happened in such a tight deadline.”
“Well, the rumor in the paddock is that Mikasa spent days and nights in the garage with Eren on the car.”
“She must’ve signed the chassis one of those nights. Look at that signature.”
*camera follows as Eren starts to climb into the driver’s seat. Camera panel includes the MKA in black ink on the bright red chassis*
“Really gets me excited just seeing it,” Julian chimes in. “It’s almost like a good omen that Eren’s about to have a good time on that track.”
“I bet all drivers out there are jealous, honestly!” Martin continues. “As a former driver, it feels like a sign of a stable, fast car that really lets them express themselves out there.”
“Ferrari must be feeling confident today. Let’s hope it translates into a great race result after yesterday’s epic comeback in qualifying, where we saw Eren Jaeger pushing that repaired chassis all the way to a top grid place of third.”
*Camera pans over Eren who waves to the crowd from inside the car. Crowd cheers*
“Can’t forget, Martin, that that grid place might move up a slot depending on race control’s decision about Ackerman’s potentially illegal move yesterday.”
*camera zooms in on Levi Ackerman gearing up and walking towards his car*
“Right you are, Alex! Yesterday we saw Levi Ackerman beat his teammate and former two-time championship winner Reiner Braun in qualifying—achieving first pole position in qualifying for the fiftieth time in his career—but only after what appeared to be manufacturing a racing start from the very end of the pit lane.”
“Ah, yes, that did seem like an interesting move from the experienced driver,” Julian mentioned. “From past qualifying’s we’ve seen a grid penalty of up to ten seconds issued for similar instances—if that the stewards decide it’s a worthy act to punish before the race.”
*camera settles on Reiner Braun in the Redbull seat. Crowd cheers*
“Listen to that crowd as the camera shows our Formula One world champion Reiner Braun. Two years in a row. Starting in second position for the first time this year.”
“Still a great spot to be in, on that front row. And if Ackerman is penalized before the start of the race, he’ll be back on pole position in no time.”
*grid line up starts to show alongside live view of drivers getting ready in their cars. lining up for the formation lap*
“As we gear up for the formation lap, let’s review the grid order. For our top two, as mentioned, we have yet another Redbull 1-2, but with Levi Ackerman in leading pole position and Braun in second.”
“In third we have the youngest Ferrari driver Eren Jaeger, who was DNF last race. Definitely gearing to win some massive points in today’s race.”
“Right beside him and locking out that second row in fourth is his teammate, Porco Galliard, in the second Ferrari.”
“But he better be prepared to defend because that’s Erwin Smith in the McLaren chasing his position in fifth. Only half a millisecond ahead of Jean Kirstein in the Mercedes, who sped his way into sixth place.”
“Quite the buffer between the Jaeger brothers this time with Zeke Jaeger in seventh, proudly sporting that McLaren right behind his old teammate.”
*cars pull into their starting positions following the formation lap. the lights turn on in ascending order*
“With still no word from the stewards, it seems we will see Levi Ackerman leading this race!”
*lights turn off. cars start towards the first corner*
“What a brilliant start from Eren Jaeger in the MKA Ferrari! forcing his way into the leading row around the outside as the Redbulls approach the first corner,” Martin exclaims.
*Braun overtakes Ackerman around the inside and manages into the lead. Virtually simultaneously, Jaeger overtakes Ackerman around the outside and cuts right between the two Redbulls*
“Braun hugs the inner rim as they round the first corner and just barely manages to stick his nose in front of his teammate. Just barely keeps that lead around the second corner.”
Alex chortles in amusement. “And while Ackerman was busy focusing on the two-time world champion, Jaeger cut around the outside, found the inner corner and cut in front!”
“And we are also hearing from race control right now that Ackerman will serve a 15 second penalty for a fake start during the qualifying yesterday.”
“We are seeing Reiner Braun set the race pace, a usual sight to see—“
“But Jaeger is awfully close to that Redbull. Only a 0.1 second gap, Martin.”
“A damaged car has got to be even more careful breathing dirty air. Look at how that Jaeger is avoiding driving directly in the exhaust of that Redbull,” Julian comments. “That’s a driver who understands how the car will work.”
*drones follow the Redbull lead and chasing Ferrari. the ferrari car is close behind, but slightly to the side of the navy blue car.*
*camera flashes to Ferrari team watching the race from the garage. Focuses on Mikasa watching intently*
*returns to the live drone view of the Redbull and Ferrari cars. The redbull manages to stay ahead in each turn. About to enter lap 2*
“DRS is now enabled. Will Jaeger finally be able to take that pole position?”
“Braun had a bit of a lock up going into turn 13. Jaeger took the opportunity to push on that throttle into the inner lane.”
“Coming out of turn 13, they’re wheel to wheel! Jaeger manages to keep the inside and you’re watching Ferrari take the lead of the Australian Grand Prix! Eren Jaeger! First opportunity offered up. first opportunity taken. and the man who didn’t finish the last Grand Prix leads this weekend.”
“I mean look at the way that Ferrari just speeds right on by that Redbull, turns at the apex and without even needing DRS on the getaway—but taking it anyway!”

Women’s Cotton Dresses for Summer: Comfort Backed by Real Experience
When it comes to dressing smartly for summer, cotton has consistently been the top choice for women across Australia. At Cosanila, we’ve seen a noticeable shift, customers are not just buying for style anymore, but for functionality and comfort. This blog explores why women’s cotton dresses for summer are not just a trend but a wardrobe staple, supported by actual case data from our past summer collection.
Problem: Heat, Sweat, and Synthetic Fabrics
Every summer, we receive a wave of feedback from customers frustrated by sticky, uncomfortable clothing. Synthetic fabrics often trap heat, cause skin irritation, and need frequent washing due to odour retention. A customer from Brisbane summed it up perfectly: “I used to wear polyester-blend dresses to work, but by 11 a.m., I felt like I was melting.”
Real Numbers
Last summer, we surveyed 500 women across five states.
72% reported discomfort wearing synthetic fabrics in 30°C+ weather.
65% preferred cotton for breathability and quick sweat absorption.
These numbers back up what most women already feel: hot summers and synthetic clothes don’t mix well.
Agitation: The Cost of Choosing the Wrong Fabric
It’s not just discomfort. Wearing the wrong fabric in summer can cause skin rashes, increase sweating, and reduce your overall energy. You may not even realise how much your wardrobe is affecting your mood and productivity until you switch to a better option.
We spoke to a university student in Perth who said, “I started getting heat rashes around my arms and back during class. I thought it was the weather until I switched to a cotton dress from Cosanila. Problem solved.”
This is a familiar story. Summer is long, and if you’re not wearing breathable clothing like women’s cotton dresses for summer, you could be signing up for months of avoidable discomfort.
Solution: Why Cosanila’s Cotton Dresses Make the Cut
Cotton is not just a safe choice,it’s a smart one. At Cosanila, we’re not interested in fluff or fancy language. Our goal is to provide clothing that works. Here’s why our cotton dresses stand out:
1. 100% Pure Cotton
Each dress is made from ethically sourced, 100% cotton fabric that allows your skin to breathe. Unlike blends, our cotton doesn’t cling to the body or trap odour. Fact: Cotton fibres can hold up to 27 times their weight in water, helping absorb sweat without feeling heavy.
2. Tested in Real Summer Conditions
Before launching any design, we test it on them. Our summer 2024 trial involved 30 women who wore Cosanila cotton dresses for 10 days in different climate zones, from Cairns to Adelaide.
93% reported feeling noticeably cooler.
87% said they didn’t experience sweat patches as often.
90% chose to buy more than one dress after testing.
3. Simple Maintenance
One customer favorite is that Cosanila cotton dresses are machine washable and retain shape and softness over time. With minimal ironing required, it’s the kind of outfit you’ll reach for daily.
Real Stories, Real Comfort
Jasmine, a primary school teacher in Melbourne, told us:
“I’ve tried a lot of brands, but Cosanila’s cotton dress was the only one I wore 3 times a week last summer. It held up through playground duty, errands, and dinners out, without any wardrobe change.”
That’s not a marketing line ,it’s a real-life review.
How to Choose the Right Cotton Dress for Summer
When shopping for women’s cotton dresses for summer, keep these practical tips in mind:
 Look for Loose Fits
Avoid tight cuts. Opt for A-line or tiered styles that allow air to circulate.
Go Sleeveless or Cap Sleeve
Shorter sleeves are cooler and more practical in extreme heat.
 Lighter Colours Work Best
Stick to whites, pastels, and soft prints. Dark colours absorb more heat.
Check GSM Rating
If listed, a 100–150 GSM (grams per square metre) cotton is ideal for hot weather, light but not see-through.
Cosanila tags every dress with GSM and fabric origin so you know exactly what you're getting.
The Numbers Speak Again
Here’s a breakdown of repeat purchases of cotton summer dresses at Cosanila from November 2024 to February 2025:
65% of buyers returned to purchase a second cotton dress.
82% of those said they chose cotton again due to comfort.
4.7/5 was the average rating across all cotton summer products.
When so many customers vote with their wallets and wear-test results align, it’s clear we’re not just chasing trends, we’re solving real-life problems.
Final Thoughts
Choosing women’s cotton dresses for summer isn’t about following fashion fads, it’s about making informed, body-friendly choices. At Cosanila, we believe in honest clothing that works in the heat. With data-backed comfort, style, and simplicity, our cotton dresses aren’t just worn, they’re lived in.
Explore our collection today and feel the difference a quality cotton dress can make.

SEO Split Testing: What It Is & How to Do It Right
In the fierce arena of digital marketing, smart decisions and data win battles. Gut feelings and vague instincts fall short.
SEO split testing, also called SEO A/B testing, lets you pit a hypothesis against an outcome. It cuts through guesswork. It proves what works and what fails. It shows the truth behind tweaks. Each change becomes a trial, and each result tells a story.
For SEO beginners, this sounds like alchemy. But beneath the surface lies pure science. SEO split testing mixes logic, precision, and creativity. The goal?
Elevate search rankings
Increase traffic
Outsmart the algorithm.
This guide breaks down SEO split testing in raw detail. It teaches you how to run smart experiments with real-world impact. Use it for your SEO in Melbourne.
Table of Contents
What Is SEO Split Testing?
How It Works: A Breakdown
1. Choose a Variable
2. Select a Page Set
3. Define Success Metrics
4. Run the Test
5. Analyse the Outcome
6. Apply and Expand
Tools That Help
Common Pitfalls to Dodge
Conclusion
What Is SEO Split Testing?
SEO split testing is an experiment. You change elements on certain pages and watch what happens. But remember that you do not change everything, and you do not guess. You isolate. You compare. You measure. Then, you repeat.
Let’s say you want to test title tags. You create two sets of product pages. One uses short, punchy titles. The other uses longer, detailed titles. Then, you monitor results over time. Traffic, impressions, clicks. The data speaks. The better-performing title wins.
Traditional A/B testing splits users. SEO split testing splits pages. Search engines become your test audience.
How It Works: A Breakdown
The magic lies in the method. Each SEO split test follows a specific pattern. Skipping a step means wasted effort. Each phase demands care and clarity.
1. Choose a Variable
Pick only one thing. One detail. That’s the golden rule.
Start small. Test meta titles or test H1 headings, or schema markup. Avoid full-page redesigns. Do not rewrite entire articles. You need clean data. You need clarity.
Examples of testable variables:
– Title tags
– Meta descriptions
– Internal link anchor text
– Content length
– Keyword placement
– Schema types
– Image alt tags
– Heading structure
Each variable must have potential. Don’t test changes for the sake of novelty. Choose elements tied to clicks, rankings, or engagement.
2. Select a Page Set
Now you group similar pages. Do not mix blog posts with product pages. Do not toss in landing pages with how-to articles. Group by format, topic, and intent.
Ten or more pages form a healthy sample. The more pages you test, the stronger your conclusions.
Assign half to the control group. Leave these untouched. They remain your baseline. Change nothing. Track everything.
Assign the rest to the test group. Apply your changes here. These pages will carry the experiment forward.
3. Define Success Metrics
What does “winning” look like? Pick one metric and stay focused.
Choose from:
– Organic clicks
– Search impressions
– Average position
– CTR (Click-through rate)
– Bounce rate
– Conversion from organic traffic
Do not chase multiple goals at once. You need clean, readable results. Once your metric is clear, lock it in. No shifting mid-test.
4. Run the Test
Set your timeframe. Most SEO split tests run for 14 to 30 days. Choose a longer period if your site has low traffic. You need enough data to see patterns.
Do not panic over early numbers. SEO changes take time. Search engines crawl, index, and re-rank at their own pace.
While the test runs, monitor both groups. Track performance inside Google Search Console. Observe crawl rates. Watch impressions. Record CTR.
Remain calm. Avoid interference. Do not change other site elements. Let the experiment breathe.
5. Analyse the Outcome
Now comes the truth. Compare your control and test groups. Did the change help or hurt? Did rankings improve? Did traffic spike? Did CTR jump?
Even small changes can spark big shifts.
Example: A tweak in meta title boosted CTR by 17%.
Example: Adding FAQ schema raised impressions by 28%.
Example: Moving keywords to the first 100 words caused a ranking lift.
Use visual data. Charts and graphs make insights clear. Present results to clients or team members. Document the process. Build an internal case study.
If results disappoint, dig deeper. Not every test wins, but every test teaches.
6. Apply and Expand
If your test succeeds, scale the change. Apply it to more pages. Observe broader results. If the change fails, drop it and move on. Plan your next experiment.
SEO split testing is not a one-time gig. It’s a continuous loop. You learn, adjust, and grow.
Tools That Help
Manual testing works, but tools make life easier. Try these:
– Google Search Console: Your go-to data source. Free and powerful.
– Google Optimize (sunset in 2023): While now retired, its legacy shaped many strategies.
– Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio): Perfect for custom dashboards.
– Screaming Frog: Crawl and compare pre/post changes.
– Ahrefs / Semrush: Monitor keyword movement. Spot ranking shifts.
Choose tools that match your comfort level. You don’t need ten dashboards. Just one reliable workflow.
Common Pitfalls to Dodge
Many fall into traps. Stay alert.
– Testing too many changes at once: Confuses results. Muddies insights.
– Short test duration: SEO takes time. Rushing leads to false conclusions.
– Unbalanced groups: Compare apples to apples. Not apples to pineapples.
– Low traffic pages: You need data. Without it, tests die in silence.
– Changing during the test: Keep everything steady. Distractions ruin results.
Conclusion
SEO split testing proves one core truth: what you think works doesn’t always work. Only results matter, and numbers lead. The digital space rewards those who measure and refine. So, test, learn, adapt, and improve. Then, test again. That is the rhythm of great SEO.

Why Lab Created Diamond Rings Are Winning Hearts in Australia
In the world of fine jewellery, a quiet revolution is underway—and it’s dazzling. More Australians than ever are choosing lab created diamond rings as the symbol of their love, commitment, and ethical values. From sparkling engagement rings to timeless wedding bands, these diamonds are not just beautiful—they’re changing the way we think about luxury.
So, what’s behind this growing love affair with lab-created diamond rings in Australia? Let’s explore why they’re becoming the smart, stylish, and sustainable choice for modern Australians.
💎 What Are Lab Created Diamonds?
Lab created diamonds—also known as lab grown or man-made diamonds—are real diamonds created in a controlled laboratory setting using advanced technology. They have the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as natural diamonds, but without the environmental damage or ethical concerns often associated with traditional mining.
They are:
Identical in appearance and durability to mined diamonds
Certified by gemological labs like GIA and IGI
Genuine diamonds—just created above ground
🇦🇺 Why Australians Are Choosing Lab Created Diamond Rings
1. Ethical and Conflict-Free
Australians are increasingly conscious of where their products come from—and jewellery is no exception. Lab created diamonds offer a transparent and conflict-free alternative to mined diamonds, ensuring that your special ring comes with zero ethical compromise.
With no connection to conflict zones or exploitative labour, these diamonds align perfectly with Australia’s values of fairness and sustainability.
2. Eco-Friendly and Sustainable
Traditional diamond mining is linked to habitat destruction, excessive water usage, and carbon emissions. In contrast, lab grown diamonds are a sustainable choice, using significantly less energy and creating a smaller carbon footprint.
For Australians who care about the environment, choosing a lab created diamond ring is a powerful way to reduce your impact—while still enjoying the beauty and brilliance of a real diamond.
3. Better Value for Money
One of the biggest advantages? Affordability. Lab grown diamonds can cost up to 50% less than natural diamonds of the same size and quality. This means you can:
Afford a larger or higher-quality stone
Customise your ring with ease
Save money without sacrificing sparkle
Couples across Australia are realising they can still have a breathtaking, luxury ring—without the steep price tag.
4. Locally Available and Trusted
Brands like Scintilla Diamonds are bringing high-quality, lab created diamond rings to customers across Australia. Based locally and built on transparency, Scintilla offers:
Certified lab grown diamonds
Ethical sourcing
Bespoke engagement and wedding rings
Excellent customer service tailored to Aussie shoppers
Whether you're in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or beyond, lab created diamond rings are more accessible than ever.
5. Customisable and On-Trend
Lab grown diamonds are incredibly versatile, making them perfect for custom-designed rings. Whether you love classic round cuts, modern emerald shapes, or vintage-inspired halos, lab created diamonds offer flexibility in:
Carat size
Cut, colour and clarity
Ring setting and style
Australian couples are loving the opportunity to design meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect their personalities—without the long wait or high price of traditional diamonds.
6. Identical Brilliance and Durability
Many people are surprised to learn that lab created diamonds are identical in sparkle and strength to mined ones. With a hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale, they are built to last a lifetime.
And yes, they pass the diamond test.
So if you’re worried about quality or durability—don’t be. These stones deliver the same timeless beauty, with none of the ethical baggage.
💍 The New Era of Engagement and Wedding Rings in Australia
As values shift toward sustainability and conscious living, Australian couples are redefining what it means to say “I do.” Lab created diamond rings fit seamlessly into this vision, offering:
Beauty with integrity
Modern design with tradition
A love story that’s kind to the planet
Whether it’s for a proposal, wedding, or anniversary, these rings are making a bold statement: you don’t have to compromise on style to make ethical choices.
💫 Final Thoughts
Lab created diamond rings are no longer a niche trend—they’re the future of fine jewellery in Australia. With unbeatable value, environmental responsibility, and dazzling beauty, it’s no wonder they’re winning hearts across the country.
