so we all know about the wonderland of weirdness that is the Big Tesco, but in my experience, everywhere around here is like that, tesco or not

here are some things that happened during my quest visit to asda this morning:

• a woman measuring at about 5" tall scaled the shelves in seconds to reach the untouched deodorants at the back (she got two)

• a bloke who looked like if father christmas had a motorbike and a heroin addiction telling one of the workers that the pizza box didnt say that cheese contained dairy, and its a health and safety risk (the box said it on the back)

• a guy leg it from the bottom of the shop right up to the aisle by me, say 'shit ive gone past the pasta, gregs gonna strangle me' then smile at me when he realised i was looking at him, (i smiled back) and then he legged it off back again. i didnt see him the rest of my trip, i hope greg didnt get to him

• a lad with a bowl cut saying to his mate 'im telling you, she'll love it' to which his mate replied 'when she said she liked to go bowling, this is not what she meant'. bowl cut boy then said 'well i think its fantastic' and walked off shaking his head (which made the hair look worse)

• a woman who looked about 63 saying to another similarly-aged woman 'i could definitely do the handstand bit, im just not sure about the rats'. i have no context and im not sure i want it

• a 12 year old boy on the phone insisting that he was 'old enough to purchase mushrooms'. he then hung up the phone, said 'those bloody geese' and walked off towards the apples

• as i was walking back to the car with the trolley, i stopped to let a car go past me and the driver tipped his cowboy hat at me. it also feels important that you know his car was pink

and that was just this morning
