Day 5 of the Moroccan trip: Ouarzazate - Marrakech / 280km - A quite long day from Ouarzazate heading to Marrakech driving on the amazingly beautiful P1506 in the High Atlas, going through the superb villages of Aït Ben Haddou or Telouet and then all the way up to the Tizi n’Tichka at 2200 meters high. In case you’re wondering why the Golf looks rubbish, @soupapes_spotting lost his front Gti grill during an emergency braking, driving all over it. No need he almost passed out. - After 2 days resting in Marrakech, we drove to Tanger where we are about to take the 40 hours boat crossing the Mediterranean Sea to Marseille, before driving back to Paris next Friday. Will miss Morroco ! - 📷: @amaurylaparra 📹: @ameliedesazars - #asphaltheritage #wintertrip #morroco #porsche911 #classicporsche #mazdamx5 #mx5na #miata #miatalife #golfgti #golf2gti #saharadesertmorocco #saharadesert #dunes #carvintage #classicars #tinghir #todragorge #ouarzazate (à Telouet) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cm_QJt6oAfE/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media

A Memorable 4 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga
I embarked on a 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. Upon arrival, our team warmly greeted me, ready to begin this incredible journey. On the first day, we crossed the Tizi N’ Tichka pass, admiring the panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. Visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou was fascinating. After exploring Ouarzazate and the Rose Valley, I spent the night in the Dades Gorges.
On the second day, after a hearty breakfast, I discovered the Todra Gorges, a perfect spot for a short hike. In the afternoon, we reached Merzouga, where I prepared for an authentic camel trek. I watched the sunset in the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes and spent a memorable night under the stars, enjoying a Berber dinner and drum party, and sleeping in a traditional nomadic tent.
On the third day, after an early wake-up to watch the sunrise, I rode my camel back to the hotel for a shower and breakfast. We then crossed the Tizi N’Tinifift pass and arrived in Ouarzazate, where we stayed overnight.
The fourth day was dedicated to exploring Ouarzazate, including a visit to Kasbah Taourirt. After lunch, we continued through the High Atlas Mountains to the village of Telouet, discovering its rich history and salt mines. Finally, we returned to Marrakech, concluding the 4 days tour from Marrakech.
