So genuine question if you were gonna make bizzaro jnpr. Ie they're on team evil while team cmen becomes the good guys what characters changes would you need to make for each? Jnpr all join Salem of their own volition so no tragic blackmail or family in danger.

Personally I picture jaune and Pyrrha as anti-villains. They're working with Salem but they're just still so honorable and nice that even ozpin is questioning if he's the bad guy in this.

Nora and Ren I just see as being taken in by Salem after their village falls.

But what about you?

Jaune would simply be a desperate fool, drowning in his insecurities and inadequacies as a warrior until Salem’s people give him power and promise to grant him more. For the first time in a long time’s he’d feel good about himself and it’s a feeling he doesn’t want to let go of because then he’ll feel like a failure again. Even as things get worse, he’ll keep trying to convince himself there’s no turning back and there was no place for him in the old world anyways.

I really don’t know with Pyrrha. She was noble and selfless enough to be chosen as a maiden and die for the chance to save everyone. For her to be evil it feels like she fundamentally has to see no hope in the world for some reason or actually have her hands tied. “Evil Pyrrha” to me just seems like a cold person that’s actually waiting for a moment to permanently murder Salem, and works for her as a means to seek out huntsmen around the world; cutting down the weak ones and finding finding talented ones that could eventually give her the advantage she needs.

Ren and Nora are pretty easy. Nora’s mother left her for the Grimm. That naturally could give her a great disdain or apathetic attitude towards most people. Both of them had to survive with family, which means potentially doing things like stealing and fighting for food until both of them actually got numb to it for the sake of always looking out for themselves. Once again, Salem or her people encounter them while they’re still fairly young, like early teens, and the two of them go along with them. It’s not like the world owes them any favors or a real refusal would put them in a better position. Do whatever it takes to live as long and as strong as possible. Sure it can be ugly, but nobody asked them if they wanted to live with such challenging conditions at play. You don’t have to run from the monsters in the dark when you live with them.

Yang: Stop complaining. At least you aren't carrying Blake's fat butt.

Blake: *Firmly attached to Yang's back for warmth* Why couldn't we get the mission to Menagerie? That would've been so much better.

Ruby: JNPR called dibs after they helped up cover up the slippery ninja incident.

Blake: ...I'd rather people know that I-

Weiss: Stop right now! I just repressed those memories.

Yang: JNPR's all probably melting right now anyways. You know that place is basically the surface of the sun.

Weiss: Or facing an absolute infestation of Grimm.

Ruby: Yeah, probably.

Meanwhile

JNPR: *all wearing Hawaiian shirts, surrounded by a field of dead grimm*

JNPR: Aruba, Jamaica, Oh I wanna take ya. To Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama.

JNPR: Key Largo, Montego, baby why don't we go?

Jaune: Oh I want to take you down to Kokomo. We'll get there fast and then we'll take it slow.

Jaune That's where we wanna go, way down to Kokomo.

Pyrrha: Port Au Prince, I want to catch a glimpse.

Ren: *Absolutely killing it on the saxophone*

Ren: *pulling up Jaune’s eyelids and shining a light* He’s concussed. There’s no way he’s going to be able to make that meeting with Miss Goodwitch…

Ren: Nora, you’ll have to climb inside his shirt and operate his arms like a mech!

Nora: *shrugs off her jacket* On it. 😠

When Pyrrha runs into her cousin Rang, she introduces her to her teammates. Let us see her opinion on JNPR.

Pyrrha: "Rang! It's nice to see you!"

Rang: "Same here, cuz. It's been a while."

Nora: *amazement* "Whoah! She looks like Yang!" *cups her own bust* "Even the bouncing melons!"

Ren: "Nora!"

Rang: *glares* "I beg your pardon?!"

Pyrrha: *sheepish* "Um, Rang, this is my team, Team JNPR."

Nora: "I'm Nora Valkyrie, that's my name an' don't wear it out."

Rang: *annoyed* "Noted."

Ren: *exhales in exasperation* "Lie Ren, nice to meet you."

Rang: *calms down a bit* "Nice to meet you, too, Ren. Approachable and polite, unlike the maniac next to you."

Jaune: *clears his throat* "Hi, I'm Jaune Arc, leader of Team JNPR and your cousin's partner."

Rang: *blinks* "Ah." *she eyes him from head to toe* "So, you're the guy who's gotten Cuz outta that shell."

Jaune: *blinks in confusion* "Huh?"

Pyrrha: *blushes, gulps* "R-Rang--."

Rang: "I mean, yeah, we're training to fight monsters and criminals, but ever since Pyr got notoriety as a tournament fighter and that cereal deal, everyone wanted a piece of her. From reporters, paparazzi, fans, stalkers, and don't get me started on those creepy old guys. But when we spoke after her first week at Beacon, seems like she's the ol' Pyr before she gained the 'Invincible Girl' title."

Jaune: *blinks* "Oh, that's pretty deep, Rang--."

Rang: "Yeah, because my first impression of ya was that of an ill-informed dumb ass who somehow got into a prestigious academy and doesn't even know about the basics of Aura & Semblances."

Jaune: *grimaces* "Oh..."

Rang: "But, Pyr told me about your good heart, even if you are dense." *turns to her cousin* "Seriously, Cuz, lock this one down."

Pyrrha: *covers her face with both hands, flustered* "RAAAANG!!!"
