Since you guys liked the finished planted tank so much, have the tetra update!

A little bit of glass surfing is still happening but honestly was more because I was bugging them with my phone camera than anything. Most of today they were all over the place exploring~ also weird thing in the tank is a Banksia Seed Pod, threw it in for some extra tannins to help with any transition stress (natural antibacterial).

This was Bush Tetras' first EP, featuring Too Many Creeps, Snakes Crawl, and You Taste Like Tropics.

Like my previous Bush Tetras post, I couldn't upload my own files, but luckily, these tracks are available on Bandcamp.

Since Wind Waker was your first game, I decided to write my first TeLink one-shot. I hope you like it, my friend!

Excerpt:

When the Sea Queen had docked at Outset Island to drop him off, Tetra had told him to take all the time he needed, stating it’d be a relief not to have to see his dopey face for a while. Then she’d shoved him overboard and sailed off. She wasn’t one for sympathy and sentiment. 

He’d all but given up trying to figure her out. He knew all the bullying was her way of expressing her affection, but what he couldn’t tell was if she felt the same way he did. Especially since she kept giving him mixed signals. She’d say something nice like his eyes reminded her of the Great Sea on a stormy day. Then realize what she’d done, and follow that up by hitting him over the head with her spyglass while she kicked whoever was unlucky enough to be nearby in the shin. 

His musing came to an abrupt halt when the next wave crashing to shore brought with it a sudden and very sharp pain to Link’s ankle. Yelping, he hopped on his uninjured foot, searching the water for the culprit. He’d been expecting to see a conch shell or crab, but instead a bottle bobbed in the frothing surf. 

He picked it up, and rubbing the red welt already forming on his ankle sat back down on the driftwood. The bottle’s wavy glass distorted the contents, but it looked like it contained a rolled up piece of parchment.
