Not 100% happy with my style currently, but oh when am i happy with it? yes never, and i cannot let that 70% happiness get on the way of posting for another year

I have good amounts of lore stored into my brain for the sillies, but i'm too tired right now to actually write it down in english aaaaa

I may write in the future?? or answer questions, if any of the 4 people who remember my sillies have them

Good morning everyone! (Welcome to my seminar!) Here's some Portal Duo snuggling to start off your day! What's the point of having the ability to draw turtles if you don't indulge in the softest of fluff once in a while?

Just ignore the fact that, with Leo's canon bed setup, there's really no room for Raph to be standing on the other side. How's he doing that? Magic ig.

So backstory to this is that my roommate and best friend got a beanbag the size of a bed and it was sitting in the middle of our apartment for a while. It was extremely comfortable and I would curl up to sleep in it, but because it was so big I’d sink into the center and people wouldn’t know where I was lol. It was nice though, cause The Bean was big enough to share!

It’s nice to snuggle with friends or siblings! I love how Rise wrote the brothers to be more physically affectionate

Ouugghhgjg them... Leo deserves some closure after the events of the second chapter of and just like that, and because my brain isn't letting me think in words (I'd wanted to write a drabble for this) I'll just think in pictures instead

Leo's having a tough time and obviously Leonardo isn't just going to let him fester in those feelings 🥺 He's not leaving! Yuichi isn't taking him away from his family! It's A PROMISE

Every so often I’ll remember that canonically, Raph (the big hulking 7ft giant) has fainted trying to lift a bus, TWICE, while Mikey (the itty bitty child who is the size of ONE of Raph’s arms) has lifted and thrown a bus, an eighteen-wheeler, a cargo ship, and a skyscraper like it was nothing

I know Raph is strong and it’s shown throughout the show with him lifting and destroying heavy things, but it is my most beloved headcanon that Draxum designed Mikey to be the strongest out of the four in order to make up for his small size. And so I love the idea that Mikey is the only one who can best Raph in arm wrestling competitions and can lift his big brother as easily as a handful of grapes <3 (Bonus points if neither of them have realized this because he’s never actually tried)

Headcanon #11

Donnie made his goggles to match Leo's eye's.

I love the headcanon that the twins have matching eyes. But in all the fan art that I've seen, Donnie's eye always match his goggles. And, while I love that idea, I have the headcanon that instead of making his goggles to match his eyes, he made them to match Leo's.

He would never admit it, of course. But he is a horrible liar, and Leo is great at reading them all.

He was 11-12 when he made his goggles, so he was already in his "emotionless bad-boy" phase. So he made a plan so that Leo wouldn't pickup on the lie.

He spent a full three days working nonstop, so that the fact that the goggles match Leo's eyes instead of Donnie's could be passed off as a sleep-deprived error.

The only thing Donnie didn't account for was the fact that he would be so tired he wouldn't lie at all.

Leo came in on the 3rd night to get Donnie to go to sleep, and immediately clocked the goggles colors, he figured it was just a classic sleep-deprived-Donnie mess-up, because there was just no way that Donnie did that on purpose.

The goggles looked done, but Leo thought that maybe Donnie was making a different part to go in.

Still, he started making jokes about it, to distract Donnie from what he was doing so he would go to sleep.

Except, Donnie, in all his sleep-deprived coffee-fueled exhaustion, agreed with him. Leo full on froze, not knowing how to react to that.

After a few minutes, Leo started tearing up. Donnie started freaking out and rushed over to him, asking "What did I do? Why are you crying? I'm sorry. Don't cry or I'll cry. Please stop crying."

Donnie ended up panic-hugging Leo.

Then passing out on Leo directly after.

He woke up the next day next to a sleeping Leo, with no memory of what happened except Leo crying. He told himself he would check the security cameras and cuddled closer to his twin. (Spoiler Alert: He didn't check the cameras)

TMayNT Day 31: Redraw of day one. (Original prompt was: the turtles in you favourite style.)

Ok there are so many ways my brain is trying to be critical BUT I am proud of myself for finishing one of these challenges, no matter what. I've tried and failed to commit to so many projects.

Just to clarify: my own style is NOT my favourite style. I am far too self critical for that. I just entirely ignored the prompt ^^

So for one thing I did want to de-centre Leo a bit, cause the original day 1 prompt was favourite turtle and I DO love them all, Leo just has a special place to me. I also wanted them to not be floating.

Now I do prefer some parts of the original, mainly the simplicity. I do want to try and aim for a more simplified style in the future (if I can stop defaulting to the style I have atm). I might have gone a little overboard with the lighting on the more recent one. STFU up brain, I did not get worse. But it was fun. I think it's good to explore and practice parts of the art process even if it isn't something you want to stick to. I do think I learnt a lot of stuff and made some improvements over the month.
