In celebration of Aven's rerun being today, I have to say Tobias would adore this guy. Would he trust him? Hellllllll nah, but would he love being around him? 1000%. Somehow the more he'd learn about Aven, the more he'd find this guy Hilarious 😭

I'm not even going to pretend to be surprised #Tobias really loves resilient people and if Aven isn't one then I don't know who is!!!#Born into poverty; had his whole family murdered & became an orphan as a wee kid; was turned into a slave; murdered his 'owner'#took his owner's position afterwards; then pulled himself up from the bootstraps and became one of the richest people alive #He's also so insanely smart he really orchestrated so many important events in Penacony's storyline w/o having jack shit proof #for any of his guesses so he had to place his own life on the line to test his guesses. AND HE'S LOWKEY UNHINGED a perfect man truly #The only real issue is how hard it is to REALLY befriend Aven bc Aven (<-just like Tobias) views friendships as being transactional #He's never had a friend before (<-just like Tobias) and so he operates on a basis of what he can gain from the friend (<-just like Tobias)#Tbf on that front they'd get along but again... it'd only really be as business 'friends' instead of genuine friends #I feel like... to become True friends with Tobias you need to show him what the hell a real friendship IS first 😭#Same for Aven. So there are sparse chances of them figuring it out on their own in THEIR friendship w/o any external help involved #Also I'm just noticing this but why do all of Tobias' blond genius besties hate themselves.
