i don't post much (any?) of my cosplay on here but these photos turned out so well i had to share!! shoutout to my friend mel (@baroqueblood on instagram) for capturing these incredible shots of my lup last month :,) i'm so so proud of this cosplay, i've slowly assembled it one piece at a time over about 2 years and i think this is the best version of it so far!

These pics span multiple years and multiple outings, featuring a few different iterations on this cosplay at this point—from conventions to Ren Faires.

It has filled my heart with glee every time I heard someone gasp and go, "Is that Taako? From T.V.?!" which gave me the opportunity to spin around and say, "Why, yeeeeeees~! ✨️" in my best Taako impression or give a tip-o'-the-hat and wave and get to see people's eyes light up and smiles spread across their faces. 💖

Taako Apron Details!

No post yesterday because I was having tech issues, but they’re sort of resolved so I’m back! I have recently made an update to Taako’s apron - I restitched the patches with coloured embroidery thread and I think that it looks so fun and cute :D I like giving Taako kind of a mismatched, eclectic sort of aesthetic rather than making him very pristine so I opted for using the odds and ends of my embroidery threads. I really like that the colours compliment the patch fabric while still being all mismatched!
