Diamond and Dolly!

Diamond is a bi queen and Dolly is a Lesbian who likes mullets and tall robots. I agree. Real. I LOVE THEM. GRRR. anyway focusing on their characters I will make them slightly different obviously compared to pearl and Dinah since they aren't the same people in my au. Diamond is more shy, but enjoys the spotlight of a good outfit. And Dolly is headstrong but a total hopeless romantic who would put her and thundercabs initials on a tree. Diamond and Dolly are close friends of course! Childhood friends even. ( Diamond offers relationship advice despite never being in a real relationship before 2024 rusty... ) Luckily Dolly and thundercab work out because they are perfect for each other obv.

Tassita is HE/HIM ONLY!! For mine of course :3 and he is dating Barbara because I like these 2 so much. Tassita is a quiet car and Barbara is a sleeping car. They don't go to parties like ever. and usually never participate or even attend races either. They just don't like loud sound, and honestly- when off the job? They'd rather sleep... Or like read... Probably sleep...

tassita redesign in which i make him show as much skin as the rest of the coaches (among other changes). thought process under the cut

patch notes:

i must admit the only reason i felt compelled to redesign him was to put him in tiny shorts and thigh highs. but the more i looked at him the more i wanted to change so here we are

really bothers me that pearl and belle are pretty monochromatic and then the quiet car of all people is bright contrasting complimentary colors. so i just made him all turquoise.

changed the weird triangle thats glued to his front into a corset

im sorry but im not including the giant clunky backpacks. he gets couplers on his back. also bumpers on the elbows because i didnt realize this production doesnt have those until i already put them. and i wanted to keep them

i couldnt help myself i HAD to put something on his ankles so he got tiny leg warmers

as for makeup i didnt do anything super extreme because he is still a coach and they never have super heavy makeup. i still gave him chin rivets though as the train gender roles suggest

got rid of the weird. ponytails??? on the top of his head. just a simple little haircut for him now

I wanna write an au where all the stex characters work at either a coffee shop or the taco bell next door (rosters tbd) bc they’re all broke college students

They do stuff like organizing trades (burritos for lattes etc) and get stoned out back together on their breaks

So far I think it would go like this as for rosters:

Last night, I had the pleasure (displeasure to everyone who heard me rant about it) of stumbling across Uintah High School's 2019 Production of Starlight Express! Now, there are many fascinating notes about this production, but today I want to focus on the added characters!

I won't be showing all the photos, ofc! This would be the longest post ever if that were true!

This is also zero shade to the school, I just thought this was very very interesting!

Favourite Song/Scenes: I don't know enough about him yet to choose a favorite scene!

Favourite Costumes: I like his color palette and his wig is kinda cute imo ( they're still not a good fit for a quiet coach though!) The two-toned skates are so cool, I really like how the characters in the revival have skates that are color coordinated with their costumes!

Favourite Ships/Friendships: I don't ship him with anyone. BFFs with Belle Jr. and friends with the rest of the coaches

Headcanons: He's trans! He gets very overstimulated by loud noises and often wears noise-cancelling headphones. He doesn't really like the freight trucks because they're too loud and rowdy

Unpopular Opinion: His costume has grown on me a lot. Dare I say, I kind of like it? He looks like a little alien
