i just wanted to add that i think tassita comes from taciturn, which means a person who is quiet, reserved, uncommunicative. so a little less violent but very much the whole silence, doesnt speak. BUT I imagine that word does come from the same as tacita so basically if you dont talk much its like your tongue has been cut out

also full agreement on the secrets and the hitting of greaseball

yooo funny coincidence but basically your greek god post reminded me i wanted to watch that new show kaos on netflix, so i’m watching rn

anyway i’d seen somewhere that the name tassita comes from latin or greek or something (and there’s the english word tacit so) but in this show (and therefore in ancient greece obvs) they have like hera’s prophet thingies called the tacita who are like who the people people go to confess stuff to, and the idea is their tongues are cut out so they can’t repeat the secrets

anyway i just think it’s kinda funny bc like obviously the name tassita comes from that (or they just have the same root word, eg, how we got the word tacit) but like the fact that tassita is literally named after people with no tongues is sending me

so anyway for the greek gods au tassita is basically just one of hera’s priests

unhinged headcanon but demigods learning about the tacita and finding it hysterical that tassita has the same name, so they start a thing where basically they just confess EVERYTHING to tassita. tassita is absolutely sick of hearing about how fit greaseball looked today (dinah), how cute belle is (slick), or how sexy greaseball is (that was from greaseball herself), so he starts charging for a confessional booth.

i’m picturing greaseball just picking him up and trapping him to vent about how dinah is so annoying, how much she hates her, how she does this weird thing to greaseball that makes her go all weird and warm and flustered and she doesn’t understand it. tassita hits her for being so stupid and basically forces her to ask dinah out.

OH MY GODDDD

ok first thing i had no clue that that was where tassita’s name came from that’s so cool!!

second thing tass smacking greaseball and making her ask dinah out is so on brand. i’m convinced that’s what actually happened in the musical canon because they’re both so silly ����

in conclusion tass is making bank off these losers (who he loves dearly)

Diamond and Dolly!

Diamond is a bi queen and Dolly is a Lesbian who likes mullets and tall robots. I agree. Real. I LOVE THEM. GRRR. anyway focusing on their characters I will make them slightly different obviously compared to pearl and Dinah since they aren't the same people in my au. Diamond is more shy, but enjoys the spotlight of a good outfit. And Dolly is headstrong but a total hopeless romantic who would put her and thundercabs initials on a tree. Diamond and Dolly are close friends of course! Childhood friends even. ( Diamond offers relationship advice despite never being in a real relationship before 2024 rusty... ) Luckily Dolly and thundercab work out because they are perfect for each other obv.

Tassita is HE/HIM ONLY!! For mine of course :3 and he is dating Barbara because I like these 2 so much. Tassita is a quiet car and Barbara is a sleeping car. They don't go to parties like ever. and usually never participate or even attend races either. They just don't like loud sound, and honestly- when off the job? They'd rather sleep... Or like read... Probably sleep...

tassita redesign in which i make him show as much skin as the rest of the coaches (among other changes). thought process under the cut

patch notes:

i must admit the only reason i felt compelled to redesign him was to put him in tiny shorts and thigh highs. but the more i looked at him the more i wanted to change so here we are

really bothers me that pearl and belle are pretty monochromatic and then the quiet car of all people is bright contrasting complimentary colors. so i just made him all turquoise.

changed the weird triangle thats glued to his front into a corset

im sorry but im not including the giant clunky backpacks. he gets couplers on his back. also bumpers on the elbows because i didnt realize this production doesnt have those until i already put them. and i wanted to keep them

i couldnt help myself i HAD to put something on his ankles so he got tiny leg warmers

as for makeup i didnt do anything super extreme because he is still a coach and they never have super heavy makeup. i still gave him chin rivets though as the train gender roles suggest

got rid of the weird. ponytails??? on the top of his head. just a simple little haircut for him now
