what soft romance cliché are you?

Love at first sight

let's be real, only children believe in "love at first sight." but you're a hopeless romantic probably sitting around in coffee shops waiting to meet "the one." and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. infatuation at first sight is more accurate. you are the moment when two people lock eyes, and the whole world stills. nothing is there but you and them. and there is suddenly a strong sense of longing. you love love, don't deny it. flowers, chocolates, the whole nine yards. because of this you are loved by many. hopefully you know it too: you are loved.

What Brand of Stupid Are You?

Smart Until Infected With Stupid

You think you're safe don't you? You are probably the responsible one in the group, perhaps even the mom friend. You are relatively smart but all it takes is one little thing to suck all your braincells out. It could be hanging around your fellow stupid friends, it could be being left alone, it could be having a bit too much fun. The stupid lives inside you and it just takes the right environment for it to show.

Mad Scientist Stupid

You might be a genius in one area but you fail hard in other things. You try to apply your knowledge of one thing to something you aren't great at to varying results. You are reckless and do whatever it takes in pursuit of your goal (this usually involves something exploding). You were doing quantum physics this morning but charred your grilled cheese for dinner. Your social skills probably aren't the best but you're "that person that knows a lot about the thing" so that's something to be proud of.

Blissfully Stupid

They say ignorance is bliss and by god you are living your best life. You skip merrily into a bear's cave to pet it as your friends scream at you to run. The world is beautiful and everyone is your best friend, nothing can possibly go wrong! You are incredibly curious and probably believe in magic. This isn't to say you're an innocent little baby, just that you see the world in a more positive light then most. You face danger with a smile, not because you are particularly brave but because you don't know there's danger to begin with.

BASTARD Stupid

Swears are your language and crime is your profession. Your reason for doing just about anything is because you could, no matter how stupid it was. Why did you set that fence on fire? To watch it burn. Why did you put that bug in your mouth? To see what it tastes like. Why did you teach that kid to say fuck? Its funny. Keeping you around is like housing a cartoon villain but at least you know how to pick locks so that's a reason to let you stay.

Taranza had hidden behind Serafina when he noticed the butterfly, Marx watching it in curiosity. Serafina raised an eyebrow slightly as it fluttered around the two, but didn’t seem interested in landing on them.

Mirror World musings

After some thoughts about the Mirror World, plus, reading some articles and papers* regarding the posibility of a real life Mirror Dimension, I think I can spew some thoughts about Kirby's Mirror World onto this post.

[*Disclaimer: These articles could easily be tenuously based on actual science and may have little to no substance beyond speculations. I just thought they are undeniably similar to what we have in the Kirby canon.]

Doppleganger creation:

Basically, The Mirror World only works and replicates in image and will those who stare and interact with it enough. Dark Mind is the responsible to give these copies life. Think of a data transfer.

As he was defeated previously in KaTAM, he finds himself unable to create these copies with the success and speed he previously did, as he was returned to a less powerful state (he's still a powerhouse, don't be confused).

"But didn't he create Dark Taranza?"

Yes, yes he did, and he also gave Sectonia her new vessel. Of course, this took a lot of time and energy. Energy that he was sucking from Sectonia, just enough to feed him, not enough for her to notice.

Mirror Dimension itself:

The Mirror World also has its own flaws and shortsights. Of course, as I said, it can only replicate those who come face-to-face and interact daily with it.

"What happens to those who are just near?"

Good question! It creates a sort of automaton. A silouette that repeats a cyclic animation. And there's a lot more of those than there are dopplegangers.

Think of when an AI tries to replicate and work with off-frame faces (or just faces in general). Its there, but not quite. And its uncanny. (trigger warning for body horror and uncanny valley)

These copies are there for filler, to say the least. After The Mirror World became barren (and you can guess who the culprit is...) it was only fair to fill the world again with this form of "new life". (For reference: See the Nagoro Village in Japan)

These copies are unimterrupted and innmovible, stepping in their way won't stop them.

There was this little noise coming from some kind of area,as if a rat was scurrying around purposelessly. Though,that could be something else...NOT a rat. Who was lurking around..?

Taranza blinked when he heard something scurrying around, the spider mage blinking in confusion. "...uh...?" He started to float cautiously towards the noise.

Daroach: Only if he is in a hurry

Spinni: Jaywalks for sport

Storo: Does not

Doc: Just floats over the cars, the sidewalk laws do not apply to him.

Galacta: He would try not to but if he is impatient he might. Especially since if it is a car versus him, he Will win.

Patch: Surprisingly, no. Though they are kinda terrified of cars and large vehicles.

Dark Taranza: Would jaywalk and then yell at people who almost hit him. Absolutely the type to get into a fight over it.

Magolor: Same as Patch, too scared to. Probably has been hit tbh.

Dark Meta Knight: Absolutely. Wouldn't yell at people like Dark Taranza, instead just jump straight to stabbing.

Hyness: Yes, but probably because he just isn't paying attention.

Zan Par: No, but probably has to tell Hyness to not do so.

Queen Ripple: Would not. Would probably cry seeing others jaywalk.
