Grateful for the Sea and a big announcement!

Tanya Vlach is actually hoping to become a bionic woman, when she gets her current prosthetic eye replaced with another... Normal right? The replacement eye shall contain a blink activated digital camera!
Vlach, who lost her eye in a car crash is trying to raise $15,000 via the Kickstarter website entitled ‘Grow a new eye‘ aims to work with engineers to help her create a new prosthetic eye which has a camera placed inside.
The plan is to have the eye wirelessly transmit the data to a computer recording both still pictures and have 720p video. The shutter release is to work by simply blinking. Pretty cool, huh? Lets just hope it doesn't make that terrible noise that cheap digital cameras or mobile phones make... I can imagine that could get very, very annoying!

Shot low budget in a tunnel in Golden Gate Park on 7/24/2010 as part of the Life in a Day Project Produced by Ridley Scott, I decided to create a music video out of the footage. It's a visceral piece using ambient noise. High on threshold this short is a work-in-progress low res prototype of the final version. Benjamin Brown is a local musician from the band, Devil Said Maybe. Directed by Tanya Vlach, Cinematography by Natalie Wollmann A Colibrita & V³ Production
