watching earthshock tales of the tardis for Reasons (and incidentally because i haven’t seen nearly enough Five, shame on me). this is really really good. like actually. the character work the conflict the creepy androids stalking the darkness of the caves + unfortunately i know the ending but that doesn’t make the foreshadowing hit any weaker. russell take notes ?? i need to watch more 5 i love this already

So, I found out there's going to be a new Tales of the Tardis (TOTT) episode between this coming Saturday and the Saturday after, and mentioned this to Housemate Andy, and thought - well, yer man obviously needs to know what this is.

So we watched the intro to TOTT Earthshock.

Doctor Who: "That's what it wants. Stories being told. Around a fire. Like every story teller across creation."

And then the Memory Tardis makes this weird fucking sound and gives them a fire to tell stories about.

And then I thought to myself: I've heard this sound before.

The Devil's Chord: The Tardis returns from the Dead Future.

Rogue: After Doctor Who says "You make me sound so boring."

It's the same bloody sound.

It has come to my attention that the clips of Tales of the TARDIS uploaded earlier today to YouTube are incomplete. I will be uploading my own edits of the TOTT episodes down to just the new material. Right now I only have Ep 1 to work with (Earthshock) but I hope to get the others up in the next couple days.
