Tales of Graces f Remastered has just been announced for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One/Series X and for PC via STEAM!

The game will be released for the West on January 17, 2025, a day after the Japanese release. Check more here! The remaster features enhanced visuals and gameplay, including the ability to switch enemy encounters on and off, a skip button, an auto-save feature, early unlocking of the Grade Shop, inclusion of the original DLCs from the original games, as well as the Lineage and Legacies after story. The official announcement also mentions "and newly localised scenes that will be available in English for the very first time". A Digital Deluxe Edition and pre-orders have been announced. According to the Japanese announcement, the game is but a part of the "various initiatives" planned for the Tales of Series 30th Anniversary. A message from Tales of Series General Producer Yusuke Tomizawa was also released. This hopefully means we're getting even more remasters, or possibly a new game, for this anniversary! We've yet to see anything on the previously allegedly leaked Tales of Xillia Remastered from online stores.

Tales of Graces f Remastered is a remastered version of Tales of Graces f released in 2010 featuring quality of life improvements and additions, downloadable content from the original version and newly localized scenes that will be available in English for the very first time.

It is included. The “Lineage and Legacies” is a story that depicts the world six months after the end of Tales of Graces. You can enjoy an after-story that centers around Sophie.

Added Elements

Quality-of-life functions have been added to the game to make the game more convenient and enjoyable for the player.

Includes many downloadable contents from the original version (some licensed downloadable content is not available).

Add overseas languages for some groovy chats.

Adjusted Elements

The online ranking mode was removed and converted into Trials of Graces, an offline mode found on the Title Menu.

What is included in the “Digital Art Book & Soundtrack” in the Deluxe Edition?

The digital art book is an excerpt from the “Tales of Graces Official Complete Guide” published in 2010 and the “Tales of Graces f Official Complete Guide” published in 2011.

The digital soundtrack includes the background music included in the “Tales of Graces Original Soundtrack” distributed in 2022, as well as 13 BGM tracks newly added in the ” Lineage and Legacies.”

Tales of Graces f was one of the best Tales games to be released over a decade ago, and while the formula has been improved upon since then, Bandai Namco somehow has been able to make it stand out in 2025. The combat in Tales of Graces f remains a masterclass experience, having some of the most engaging and compelling encounters of the franchise.
