this story is a cycle, and you're spinning around it like a hamster in a ball being tormented by a cat. you know how this story ends. after all, you've told it a thousand times. but you try to change it every time. you love the people in this story more than anything. so watching them fall victim to the narrative breaks you in a way you can't begin to describe. but all you can do is tell the story── their story── with tears in your eyes. you're prone to anxiety and feelings of helplessness. you have so much love in your heart, and for once you wish it would change something. it didn't. it doesn't. it won't. but you refuse to stop telling the story. and you refuse to stop loving the people in it. in this way, no one is stronger than you. you just wish being strong hurt less.

Her legs trembled, shuffled up close to her chest with the way she was seated on her gaming chair. "I hope there won't be a crowd over there. I'm...not good with people."

"I-I'll do my best, though!" She had to be strong and overcome her agoraphobia and social anxiety eventually. "We could even go on a field trip in your world...! My internet pals will be so jealous!" She grinned.

"Yeah I wish it was easier, but I'm sure my little bro wouldn't want to bother them. He's moving on from that and he knows that I got his back and his friends as well."

Knowing that Tails hates talking about his parents, but yet the fox doesn't want to deal with them after what they have done. "Well if they ever see Tails again. I know I'll be at his side to support him. Heh...I'm sure you and Akira and his friends would too." He gives Futaba a grin across his face.

He opened his mouth to say something to defend himself, yet nothing came out. He was at a loss for words. How stupid of him to feel this way about her. Truthfully, she was one hell of a woman and a dear friend to him, but a part of him got jealous when she was seen going on dates with someone he wasn't that familiar with.

Granted, she was allowed to hang out with or date whoever she wished. He had no control over her life.
