*Arabella "Bell" Smith is a character from the Jack Sparrow series by Rob Kidd. She is his first crew member and first First Mate. In the books she take up with Bootstrap Billy leading to speculation she is Will's mom. She also has a role in the Magic Kingdom, as a tavern proprietress.

Congratulations Mr. Gibbs! He has clearly proven himself as a fine first mate time and again in each of the films!

Also good showing for just about everyone else, it's great to see such dedication from a captain to their first mate too. We loved the discussion going on

Just three little notes:

the wiki named Bo'sun the first mate under Barbossa in the first film as well as the boatswain and we imagine he had the former job under Captain Sparrow getting his name?

we love Reggie Lee and while we wouldn't pick Tai Haung first for our team, we are so thankful some of y'all picked him!

some of you are 100% right: Barbossa lead a successful mutiny against Jack (which may or may not have been justified) so keep an eye on him...
