Desdemona had been a fairly new addition to Valentino's roster - that, or Angel had simply not taken any notice of her until recently. This wasn't far-fetched, given that it was rare for Angel to shoot with any of the female actors. However, he had lately found himself in her company in other respects: in the chairs next to each other getting their makeup done, lounging around the studio idly when their breaks coincided, bonding over their mutual disdain for their workplace and eventually forming a morbid but much-needed camaraderie. That day, they had agreed to hang out in Angel's dressing room on their lunch break, with the plan of watching dumb videos and bitching about the boss.

That was until Desdemona entered the dressing room to find Angel crumbled in a heap against the back wall, legs drawn up with all six arms clasped around them tight, black smears of makeup streaming down his cheeks.

It was no secret that Valentino was rough with Angel - everyone at Porn Studios was well aware of this. And Angel despised that the second Desdemona opened that door, she knew exactly what had happened to him. So when she'd stayed, even crouched in front of him, offering gentle words of reassurance... that feeling of vulnerability only got more unbearable.

"I ain't scared of him, Dez," he gritted out. It was a blatant lie, and they both knew it. But he was already compromised, being witnessed in such a state, and he refused to let go of what little dignity he still clung to.

"Look, you should go," he mumbled, wiping his eyes fiercely with the heel of his hand. "We've both got shoots in an hour, ya don't gotta be here for this."

He kneeled, leaning over to rummage through the clutter on the floor. "I gotta fix my make-up," he muttered. Any excuse to deflect the hideous truth.

considering that both eirini and finley were Two Sad Miserable Children That Two Gay Idiots Picked Up Off The Streets(tm) i can see the kids just. being happy they GET to celebrate father's day at all (times two!). so they don't need to do anything special because having two great fathers who wanted to give them that second chance at love is celebration enough <3 maybe a little family trip to lumiose city and some quiet stargazing back home :) also finley 100% handmade a card but it's that classic child "HAPpy fathersday" thing because he too is not immune to misjudging how big your handwriting is and how little space is actually on a folded sheet of paper. that card is absolutely on the fridge now

aubin and lance would def have a nice homemade dinner together via aubin's secret "i'm going to open a cookbook from my massive collection of cookbooks i never read and randomly select a thing to make, i've never made this before bon appetit" trick card. just talking about how cute their kids are and how happy they were to make those big decisions of taking those two in <3 aubin also made lance one of those stupid "world's gayest dad" shirts just to fuck with him (because 70% of their relationship is aubin fucking around with lance to tease him, he's french he can't help it)

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
