5. Are there any instances where your Tav can permanently leave the party, depending on player character actions?

if the player raids the grove, she will leave the party to try get the children out safely- possibly with wyll and karlach. in act 2, she will be found in the cells in last light. due to losing the prism’s protection, she’s feverish and trying desperately to resist the voice of the absolute in her head. jaheira imprisoned her for her own safety.

if the children all escaped and survived, she can be convinced to help the party again- as an extra party member like jaheira in the battle against moonrise towers, and even then ONLY if aylin and isobel are alive, so basically a total heel-face turn for the player. after the battle, riah will leave the player and help get the kids to baldur's gate.

11. Are there any moments in the game that trigger unique dialogue for your character? (Like Gale’s anecdote about the barfight after you save the goblin prisoner)

if entering the zhent hideout in waukeen's rest, she'll mutter something uncomplimentary about the occupants.

when talking to mol in baldur's gate, she'll be outraged that mol took raphael's deal- but not at mol, at herself for not being able to save mol before she felt the need to do that. riah's just started to take up the mantle of 'hero', and in her eyes she's failed immediately.

7. What can they be found doing at the tiefling/goblin party?

at the tiefling party, she's mingling! trying to play along with alfira on a lute she picked up and COMPLETELY butchering it! getting absolutely shitfaced! (if the player talks to wyll after securing a different romance option, they'll find that riah was already there and tried to cheer him up- and even managed to steal a kiss.)

12. Is it possible for your Tav to be kidnapped and replaced by Orin?  How is Orin's deception revealed?  How do they react to the PC rescuing them in the Temple of Bhaal?

ABSOLUTELY she's one of the people that can get kidnapped. when the player reaches the area in the undercity, 'riah' appears, grievously injured and with her horns cut off, begging them to flee.

when rescued, she'll be pissed off at herself for getting captured, but woozy and very out of it. if the players accepted gortash's offer of an alliance, she'll be angry about having thrown a wrench in it by being kidnapped.

i could only feel sorry for you abandoning the already ongoing fics, like the tntduo one, which if think youve said you had already written? and rose, in which youve clearly put much thought and time into. and when it comes to rose its also such a more difficult situation than forgetting as its still not even halfway done.

yeah I am pretty conflicted over what to do with my ongoing fics. because as always, I write characters and not the ccs and I do think we've all mostly reclaimed the dsmp characters as our own. but still, it feels weird, right?

the tntduo one I pretty much had finished so it would definitely suck to scrap, but I feel very strange about posting it anytime soon. maybe in a month or two I'll just throw the rest out there so it doesn't go to waste. but it might also die in my google drive we'll have to see.

as for rose, I really don't want to abandon it because of how much I was excited to write and how much planning and worldbuilding has already gone into it. like I've said in previous asks though, I just don't know how comfortable I feel at the idea of continuing to write his character. I'm going to let my feelings settle over the next week or two before I make any proper decisions.

Again, I just have a question because this AU is just so 👌✨🤩.( I saw the roles post u posted earlier so I had to ask) what do the "vaults" mean? Are they some sort of base or something. And are the minutemen like, the workers? Idk I'm just wack and this AU is so interesting:D

So about the vaults, Fallout (the game) is mostly well known for these vaults that shelter from nuclear bombs or a fallout lol, but there's a twist, each vault has their own little twisted experiment (not in this au all vaults are the same bc I'm not goin through all the fallout vaults again cause that shi was exhausting☠️) but in brawllout au all vaults are similar and they all have these cyrogenic freeze chambers (basically freezes their bodies for decades and still be alive after waking up)

So some brawlers either became ghouls or mutants and somehow survived for the last 200 years or they made it to a vault and froze themselves

Factions are basically like groups that all individuals have the same goal or etc (like a club kinda) and fallout being fallout, they obvi gonna have a shitload and I mean A SHITLOAD of factions 😭

Now about the minutemen/Factions (I changed most of them for this au so)

Minutemen are people that are just tryna survive and help others in the commonwealth

The Brotherhood of Starr is basically a military thingy (okay not rlly they just preserve tech stuff) but they're assholes sometimes

Enclave is the government (changed it up a bit in this au tho)

Raiders are survivors that murder a shit bunch (and are annoying af in the game lol)

The Institute is a society with bunch of bad scientists and etc, they try to advance human civilization basically

New Starr Republic (NSR) is a town that tries to provide for their people and other stuff (the NCR in fallout is still complicated to me so I'm obvi gonna be changing stuff for the au)

Theres more factions in Fallout obvi but I'm only using the well known ones as well as ceasers legion and maybe the unity?(another faction which I'm still trying to work on) hope this helps x3!!

Bonus:

The candyland trio plus nita were in the same vault, Mandy was the 2nd to wake up after 200 years of being frozen, she finds out that the current overseer (leader) of the vault is bad so she decides to kill him before anyone else woke up, when they did she told them that she was the overseer. She obvi made some changes to the vault to kinda match the old candy shop, trying to make everything colorful and similar to her candyland, every once in a while she would send someone outside to the wastelands to get candy, she's never been outside herself (until Amber raids her vault) so she doesn't know what it's like and assumes everything is fine, as well as the candy. The more candy they ate from the outside the more insane she got, she started to see herself more as a candy queen instead of a overseer, she started to slowly lose her sanity and her vault was going into shambles, her people were starting to turn away from her, she even started developing trust issues, but then one day, Amber happened.

Oh this one for sure is from the POV of the Kids. All of the Kids - clouder, cogs, haguer, roysie, key, patty, howdy. jakey. i could go on, but you get the point -

see Max & Mark come out of like, the laundry all rumpled (for innocent reasons) and RUMORS ABOUND. Hauger and Roysie are like "ew, that's like imagining your parents having sex 😫😖😬🤢" and Clouder is like "yeah, but like. you're admitting that you imagine them as a married unit. Your parents had sex, dude." "what ew no they didn't" "How do you think you got here if they didn't?" and everyone is like "ew gross" but they stop fighting bc it's true lmao MEANWHILE: There's absolutely mutual pining going on. They are the two (semi)adults assigned to one of the groups , and they just keep getting assigned to each other bc they work really well together and the kids all love them.

I'm imagining this as a sleep-away camp, but like. It could work as a day camp too. Just have it not be the laundry or whatever & it still works.

Also, a real thing I remember from my own sleep-away summer camp that blew my fuckin mind (in like... the year 2002) was one of the camp counselors during our last night party was wearing like. break away pants. You know, the kind that button up the side and you can rip them off - and he rips them off and does the reasonable thing that you do with a piece of clothing you've just ripped off your body and twirled it above his head. Let me tell you. 10-14 year old girls went w i l d. for that shit. He did not do it the next year. Anyway, that's Marchy - he's got breakaway pants, and he tears them off at the bonfire every year. They tell him not to. He does it anyway. Where does he keep getting them? they check his bag for them EVERY YEAR, and he hasn't brought them. He's not leaving them at the camp??? where are they coming from?????? (It's Karly. Karly brings them. And then when they catch onto Karly doing it, Reilly does it.)
