starting off so strong with such a cute whimmy!! The way you draw him gives him such an innocent aura over his smugness it’s perfect. And omg :’] the Skyfire Whimsy. They made up. So beautiful. Seriously he’d be so happy!! He loves when dragons fuel his ego (especially when it’s smth he’s insecure about)!!! SHEEPY. A WHOLE FULLBODY OF HIM! His body shape is PERFECT. His long thin legs I especially like. And his long tail!! Also the fins :0 really cool how you did them.. reminds me of an eel?! Smth like that! Face shape btww just like Whimsy’s I LOVE IT. Honestly all of their faces are so well done- the different snout shapes oiuugg. Like Insights I’m OBSESSED. I love giving my dragons silly noses and I adore seeing Insight snout interpretations! LIKE THIS ONE. I really like how you enhanced his eyes by drawing his iris!! And my splonge. Last but BEST character (that I’ve written - not in terms of art. I could never decide) She is perfect as always. I love her eyebrow?!! Might be random but the shape is perfectttttf. I also really love how she looks slightly pissed off. But not enough to say anything about it. It’s so funny how everyone is sad and pissed off except Whimsy it makes me laugh a bit. And the lil baby Sponge awww!! HEYYYy!! Cool art btww I'm just wondering how you get all your colours throughout your account looking coherent and pretty? Like they all have the same vibe and the colours all match did you make the pallete yourself?!? If that's too much just answer the first <33

Hii! :3 tysm! I’m big into color theory, the main trick to making things look coherent and consistent is to keep the undertones the same (warm/cool.) a lot of my art has red, yellow, and orange undertones for example and its not disrupted by blue or purple etc. I use procreate and like using the gradient maps, I pick one and adjust the intensity & sometimes I layer multiple! another trick is to find an aesthetic picture and make a pallet out of that. its important to sort of use the same pallet every time to keep things the same but you can adjust them slightly as you please so its not too similar. I hope this made sense LOL

What inspired your artstyle and story? (I love your art btww)

Tysm! This is gonna get long teehee

My art style in my first couple Simonpreg sketches was kind of just a mix of both my main art style and the Adventure time style

It's slowly beginning to take its shape right now but I'm always experimenting! I'm mostly inspired by the Simon and Marcy comic (which is also where my Simon design comes from!) I hope to replicate it someday because I really like how silly it looks

As forr Story inspirationn I don't think I've stolen any ideas from other blogs but I do share a lot of the same ideas with @mushroomnoodles (<- send them some love) their au is very cool and I also love their style which I'm a little guilty of trying to copy 🤭 it scratches my brain nice lol. I really liked the flesh forest thingy they did that I wish I thought of! They've inspired future things in my au fic! @cottagedeer (<- send them love toooooooo) is also extremely talented and has also come up with things I wish I had! The overarching plot for where their comic is headed is something I've been searching for and what made me wanna make a Simonpreg comic in the first place (I still wanna try in the near future but I'm just a wee little college student) lastly @pshattuck (<- send them LOVE THATS AN ORDER) inspired me to start posting my Simonpreg art and gave me the courage to post it on the internet 😅 and they inspired the plot of my fic! (Simon moving in with Finn)
