something that I think could potentially really interesting if it gets explored in twp is how there's kinda a conflict of interest between the main characters and the goal of regaining Idris as a "home" for shadowhunters. like nothing good as ever happened to any of them there. for all three of them, it's not a place of belonging but a collection of some of the worst moments of their lives. why would they care for Idris, which has brought them nothing but misery?
