in his first ever text he made a typo and 5 years later they're still making fun of him

sometimes ash has to @ ty just for an ally but it's a dangerous game because ty will either save him or respond with the most devastating ratio known to man and then it's over 💀

kit is so unserious bc 3 years post his argument with his situationship he's still reciting his morning grudge affirmations in the mirror "I'm still mad at Ty. I do not forgive Ty" and then ty shows up with the big sad eyes like "You're the only one who can help me, I need you" and Mr. Rook Carstairs Gray Herondale immediately folds like a house of cards and is all "🥺🥺🥺🥺 omg you need me? 🥺🥺🥺🥺 ofc baby I'll do anything for you let's run away together"

@wikitpowers made me think about this but thule!kit being taken by the wild hunt and functionally adopted by thule!mark and then thule!kieran

mark seeing this child about the same age he was when he was first taken to the hunt and of course all the horrible things the other wild hunt members said about mark then they are saying about kit, and they're inflicting all the same abuses on him, and mark not only sees his own loneliness and isolation reflected in kit's face but he's also an older brother who recites his lost siblings' names to the stars every night and he sees them in this lost boy too and he can't do nothing

mark convincing kieran to take a risk on bringing kit into their little family and kieran agreeing solely because he can see how important this is to mark but soon enough kit has two big brother figures looking out for him

and the wild hunt is still cruel and the world is still in ruins but they manage, and kit teases mark and kieran for being gross and in love and they mess up his hair and throw leaves at each other and make fun of the other hunters and if it isn't happiness it's pretty close

thinking about jem and tessa encouraging kit to talk and share his perspective more

idk just kit being listened to and for the first time having a home where his family wants to hear his voice and his thoughts

extra emotional because in tda there are so many parts of kit's POV where he doesn't say what he's thinking but in twp... 3 years of being able to properly socialize and be surrounded by people who care about him and his opinions
