riah approves of helping the tiefling kids, including the kid stealing the guy’s amulet in the grove, and even stealing the idol of silvanus for mol. she generally approves of using intimidation and always approves of asking for payment. also being a nuisance to the zhentarim.

6. Do they have any secrets that can be revealed?  What are the prerequisites for this secret coming to light?

after karlach explains her backstory and mentions gortash by name, if riah’s approval is high enough (and a check is passed (persuasion/intimidation)) she’ll come clean about having worked for gortash before fleeing and getting abducted. she knows it’s not good, she knows he’s done bad things- and she’s done the same in his employ. working for him burnt the bridges she had in the guild, as well. that’s why she’s scared of going back to baldur’s gate- she threw in her lot with gortash a year ago to try find an old friend of hers she saw with him. it was stupid, sure, and impulsive- but she didn't realise just how bad it was until she was already entrenched and saw no way out other than fleeing the city.

10. How do they react if the PC licks the dead spider in the Gauntlet of Shar?

OHHHHH yes there are !!!! we have kaneko (he's in the next chapter to be released i believe) and he's Evil. cant go into more detail than that rn. we also have NED OH I LOVE NED he's a violent droid what a little guy. he's probs my fav. i think there r a few more but they're not super relevant so its ok.

Bro the fucking pov switch in this chapter is hell i don't know how to make them blend. in the fic overall i think its getting it to not feel like a book of loosely connected side quests with an occasionally mentioned overall plot. I'm working on it 💪
