What would your OC say their greatest strengths / flaws are? Do you agree with them?

Marianne: "Strengths? Hm. My compassion and my zest for life, darling. As for my flaws, I've hardly grown enough into being a proper lady. I still have plenty to learn and more growing to do." (I don't necessarily disagree with these, though I would add she continues to baffle me and that qualifies as both. Also that feels like a weird humblebrag.)

Toussaint: "Well, I don't know if you'd call it a strength necessarily, but I do try to keep an open mind about things. Oh, and I've been told I've got a gift for reassuring others, and for networking people together! Perhaps those are strengths? As for flaws, I am a bit more sure about those. Is that sad? I know I second-guess my choices a lot, and I struggle to reconcile in my mind when someone I care about hurts me and I never expected them to. I mean, how do you move forward with confidence then? It's difficult, and I tend to get discouraged very easily by that." (I'd personally say that one of Tea's strengths is his kindness and his willingness to see the good in others as much as possible. A big flaw of his is that he can be too trusting and often naive. He definitely does have an open-minded nature among his strengths as well.)

Bertrand: *loud shrugs* "The major flaw is that I am an asshole. The strength is that I'll readily admit it." (...ugh. Rand's greatest strength is probably his loyalty and devotion to the very few people he lets in. His flaws are numerous, and I'd say a big one, if not the biggest, is that he's in denial that he needs therapy.)

What's your OC's favourite flower? Would it be realistic for them to grow it in their room/on the dorm somewhere?

Mari: Apple blossoms. She answered that so immediately and I don't even know why. Not exactly realistic to grow in her room at home or her room at Dame Rose University though.

Tea: Water lilies! Also not realistic to grow in his rooms, though he likely takes the time to tend any he sees growing at school or near their home in Fleur City!

Rand: Not a flower exactly, but he does grow aloe plants, especially aloe vera! He was given one to tend when he was younger and while he initially didn't see the point, learning that most aloe plants have a lot of practical uses for medicine and various sorts of healthcare kept him interested. Since their great-grandmother often uses homemade soaps containing aloe extract, a big secondary reason he grows them is for her.

Can they be trusted in the kitchen? What's their favorite food?

None of the Anatole siblings should be left in a kitchen unsupervised. The least disastrous is Toussaint, as he actually wants to learn how to cook and prepare food himself, but even then he's best kept monitored as he learns. Mari loves strawberry shortcake, Tea loves freshly baked cookies, and Rand is partial to fancy dessert pies. Sweet tooths, all three of them.

BONUS FROM THE NEXTGEN: also do not let Talesin in a kitchen unsupervised. He won't burn it down or anything but he will commit food crimes on purpose. He loves any food made by Uncle Jamil.

[Twisted Wonderland OC Questions]

20. What chapter does your OC get the most personal character development?

It’s actually during chapter three, after Azul’s overblot!

Already having seen people around him being helpless in his world, reliving that memory thanks to Azul temporarily making them homeless and causing him to stay in Leona’s room, something dawned on him. Previously, he was acting irrationally, lashing out at the ‘strangers’ which makes him be feared among the students, and acting tough. But this event in particular brought him to his senses. It made him remember that he promised himself that he was going to change. He had managed to change himself from a delinquent boy to a successful student in his world before, and so he thought, “I can still change... I can still be a better person..!”

And he did change!

He managed to drop his guard and his harsh, rude demeanor became much more softer and he became much more approachable as the time went by. He even befriended some people like Ace, Ruggie, Silver and Trey. The most obvious change has to be his eye color though (lol), because it also changed from brown to gold.

Bio:

A proud and confident man, loves nothing more than himself. He’ll act diplomatic when needed, but that exterior will crack fit if something doesn’t go his way. Mors is bad at compromising, and can be very stubborn. May act passive aggressive in retaliation. Ever the megalomaniac, he will stop at nothing to reach the top. He is a man above pretensions, like morality and ethics. Though he can be boisterous, Mors is well spoken, hurling obscure insults at those who earn his ire. No matter what, he is always in the right.

Elm is the opposite of Mors, a humble and kind man. He’ll do good for the sake of it, not asking for anything in return. Can be a bit of a pushover.

Background:

From the hit series, “Loyalty Lock”, Mors is an antagonist. Was an aspiring doctor of noble birth, that got drafted by mistake. His military career consisted of being a foot soldier, medic, to army officer (through bribery and corruption). Along with him being a controversial political figure in Vostege, Mors has many enemies. This resulted in him buying hiring a special vessel from “Goldbelle’s Facility of Maids”.

Mors had no one else but himself to blame, having taken the life of his one and only ally. If he was still under her protection, would he be a free man? Arms bound by rope, wood digging into his neck, he might as well think of his last words instead of what-ifs.

Elm stepped into the dark carriage and Mors came out the of coffin.

People asking which one we get between Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie, while I'm sitting here in a Comm class thinking "Why not both? Lmao". We all recognize them easily, so having it a twist(heh) of both, with Jack's being a hero character and Oogie being the main bad, could work out with how they actually are.

How Yana could go about it, idk, we'll have to wait and see. But honestly, am so fucking hyped for it. But what exactly do you think could be a possible plot idea or what do you think could happen in the event?

I don’t think it’s strange at all that people are speculating which character will be the one twisted. Yes, Fellow and Gidel were introduced as a pair, meaning that there is no limit or precedent set for there only be one new character revealed. However, it’s very clear that Fellow was the star of the show, as he has the stronger presence (and ended up getting the SSR as well). Ultimately, it does mean they end up being treated like a single character rather than individuals anyway. So really, I think most fans are still running on the logic that only “one” can be twisted.

The problem with Jack and Oogie is that they are both strong presences, neither dominating the other when it comes to being attention grabbing. Fellow and Gidel go together, but Jack and Oogie are opposing forces, not teammates, in their own story. This makes it hard to predict which of them will be twisted and makes it less likely they’d be crammed into the same card.

(ncbsbsvwjwheisn NOT GONNA LIE, I’m really hyped for a twisted!Jack Skellington… but a part of me is also really attached to my OC that’s twisted from Jack 🤡 That’s not to say that I don’t want a canonized one; I think I’d actually ASCEND if we got a twisted!Jack Skellington for real!!! It’s just that I wouldn’t know what to do with my OC after the fact 🤷‍♂️ Something similar happened with my Snow White OC when Neige was introduced in book 5 www)

A popular idea I’ve seen in circulation is another isekai plot where either the students go to Halloween Town or the Nightmare Before Christmas characters come to Twisted Wonderland from Halloween Town. I’d wager that’s a pretty safe guess! Like… they’re doing their Halloween parade prep and there’s a new character disrupting things. Maybe they’ll have to pull off a heist or kidnapping of some kind?? 🤔 It would be funny if the NRC boys had to help play matchmaker for a Sally and Jack/j Personally (and this is a stretch), I really would like to see some kind of casino or gambling element because I love those design details for Oogie’s lair. Not sure if it would make sense being a large part of the event story, but it would be cool to consider.

Oh!! So I was thinking about a story between younger Lilia and my oc Arian (based on Aurora), then I thought hm younger Lilia would definitely have longer hair then my brainrots spiralled from there and here we are two years later 😂 but tbh even if I didn’t create Arian I would still have developed long hair Lilia thoughts.. its just so attractive 🧍‍♀️

Soooooo....kind of a stupid question, BUT-

We know that mermaids based on different species of aquatic animals exist. As do beastmen, right? So, would it be weird to make a character based on a frog? (For context, I'm making a character based on the frog footmen from Alice in Wonderland).

Are beastmen just exclusively mammals? We know from the Sunset Savanna event that a character based on Zazu from The Lion King exists, but is he an actual bird beastman?

Are freshwater mermaids a thing? I doubt it, but frogs are freshwater, and I have no idea how to incorporate a frog-themed character otherwise.

Should I just give him weird eyes that make him look like a frog?

Would he be a fae then, since Malleus, as a dragon fae, is technically a reptile?

...I'm at my breaking point. Please help 🙏
