5 reasons why I love @aakomii

hi hi! it was my twinny's special day a few days ago (well ex-twin bc she decided to age up😔✋) and this is a short appreciation post for the girl who kept me on this app, and can't maintain one theme for more than 3 weeks❤

1) mood maker: talking to ari really energizes me. her spirit is so positive, it's beautiful really. whenever we get time to chat she always leaves me in a better mood than she found me in. i'll never forget the day we were at it for like, 2 hours straight just sending felix memes back and forth💀💀 long story short, I'm so grateful for having her in my life. even if it's from half way across the globe yk😔 there's nothing like a 'bad day' when she's online ♥

2) great storyteller: there are aspects to ari's writing style that i just have to take this opportunity to commend. her stories are really well paced and it's almost impossible to get bored mid-read. ari's also AMAZING at smaus by the way. she manages to keep their cute appeal and at the same time make them intriguing by adding enough drama. in addition, the determination ari has towards her work, even when she's deep in writer's block or lack of motivation, is simply admirable.(can't spell admire without ari tho😻). i know it's all 'just fanfiction', but this trait speaks volumes about the awesome person she surely is even outside of tumblr.

3) AMAZING event host: any time user aakomii has an event, you just know it'll be a success. and she makes them so INTERESTING?? (i still remember the 1k followers one *sobs*) the way she builds on requests is so enticing to read, because she takes these ideas and goes crazy with them in the best way. my girl has a big brain and i'm saur proud of her for it.

4) random rants and life updates: ari's page is full of little adventures that give her blog so much personality :((( it warms my heart so much pls. sometimes i'll just search up her tag ('ari's talking') to catch up on what i missed. i think the current struggle is the insane prices for enha's concert tickets so pls keep her in your thoughts and prayers y'all💀✋

5) in love with choi beomgyu: this girl is chronically and irreversibly obsessed with beomgyu and i love how unapologetic she is about it💀💀 i honestly don't think she'd give a flying fuck if anyone tried to drag her for it bfjukslhkidi she'd probably just be like "and what about it?" and just keep living on w/ life yk😭 it's gotten to a point where i see gyu and immediately think of her lmfao

if disney were to make a live action rapunzel, and the rapunzel would be south asian, would u prefer charithra chandran or maitreyi ramakrishnan as rapunzel?

I would like to point out that I don't EVER want to encourage Disney to make more live actions pls just make more interesting original movies I AM BEGGING!!!! The only three live actions I approve of off the top of my head are my beloveds (Maleficent movies, the Little Mermaid, and Cinderella). But at this rate if they're not going to try and come up with originals the least they could do is satisfy a few billion people and give us an actual South Asian princess

As much as I love Maitreyi, I think Charithra would be a better choice because she played Edwina in a period drama who is a super feminine character an absolute sweetheart who I personally feel matches the vibes of Rapunzel better?? That could also just be because Maitreyi looks visibly younger and played Devi, who is a high schooler in modern times so it would be harder for me to believe she's like a long-lost princess. But Maitreyi has outwardly shown interest to play Rapunzel so?????

Tbh if Disney would let any South Asian actress WHO CAN ALSO SING (looking at you twin <3) play Rapunzel I would be super excited but when I saw Charithra in the casting ideas it just felt right?

if i could spend a day with taehyung, i'd want to have a spa day, whether at home or at an actual spa, where we both can relax! if we do a spa day at home, i'd love to pamper him and brush/play with his hair. maybe do a manicure for him if he wants and some face masks. we'd def watch some dramas/movies while waiting for takeout to arrive. i'm an introvert that loves spending time at home rather than outside tbh. i think taehyung would enjoy doing something like this with me too! i can def picture him putting on his favorite songs while dancing around with a facemask on and hair tied back lol

as for other dynamics in the group, i am very fond of yoonmin! i've loved their dynamic since day 1. (they were actually the first dynamic i grew to love a week into bts' debut!!) their little grandma/grandpa fights make me laugh/look at them fondly. they overall remind me of an old couple that bickers just to bicker lol not to mention, yoongi has stated multiple times how jimin's voice is his favorite! (yet we STILL DON'T HAVE THE MINIMINI SUBUNIT?!?! we are deprived!!!) the way jimin teases yoongi sometimes makes me giggle way too much. i think it's super cute, i adore them so much!

minimoni. they are SUPER CUTE!!!! their moments make my insides all warm sdjjskj jihope! i feel like this is kind of self-explanatory. jimin followed hobi to lollapalooza, and they were in paris tgt recently! they're extremely supportive of each other in general. i love them :( namjin bc they've been married for 2838209 years. vminkook, my beloved maknaes 🫶 they're all attached to the hip and love/care for one another deeply. they're MY BABIES FR!!!!!

note: i adore every dynamic in bts overall!!! the way each member loves one another makes me believe i'll never find another group that loves each other the way they do.
