Rick opened his eyes after hearing her voice.

Someone.

He was resting on a bed, inside a furniture shop. It was abandoned, silent and the interior was actually decent, the place was still preserved. Not being a grocery store or somewhere known for having food, people had been fast to leave the place when the apocalypse started.

"Mnggh...?"

Damn, he had been tired. So tired. The previous night Rick had reached his limit- decided to break into the place and sleep. And now there he was, spread on the bed still holding his backpack with a stranger looking at him.

He had fucked up. If she had ill intentions he already would have been killed- and his journey along the road hoping to find his group or a community to stay for a while...woud have ended pretty fast.

What the heck was he supposed to say?

She didn't look like a threat-

"...how did you get in?"

He thought he had closed all entrances to the store. Maybe...not all of them.

"....in...weeks? You've been wandering as well?"

The man sat, combing his hair back with his fingers. Did she know where she was going? Or was she just...lost...like he was, Just following the road?

"You're not hallucinating. I'm still alive."

helloooo :-) my name is ali, but i go by dorian. i am desperately seeking a descriptive, semi-novella length (or more hehe) roleplay with someone who has similar interests. by "descriptive" i mean / prefer anything well over 1000 words or 3-5+ paragraphs.

i have been in the roleplay / writing scene for a longgggg long time — since i was first granted unrestricted internet access at the ripe age of 12. i am 24 now, and i am not comfortable roleplaying with anyone younger than 20 years of age. i have a lot of rp experience under my belt (oc x canon, mumu — i prefer doubling!) and i would love to continue the hobby! i am a stickler for plotting — i also have way too many pinterest boards and playlists for my characters & pairings. i make edits for my ocs and their respective partners, and i just overall loveeee to yap and yap and yap about my ocs.

while my introduction seems very casual & laid back, my writing style isn't! i just really like lowercase letters LMFAO

my fandoms of interest : bridgerton, game of thrones / hotd & related, daisy jones & the six (+ the tjr universe) (this one is a long shot), marvel / mcu & related, greys anatomy, the walking dead. plenty more but this is what comes to mind!

I’m closer to 30 than 25, still surprised i’m doing this, and live in the EST. i’m half way through my graduate degree in clinical counseling, work part time, and am dealing with some physical health issues. The technical side:

I generally write in third person, past tense. I don’t really care what you write in!

Length can vary pretty dramatically, but thanks to my schedule, shorter posts work better. Usually 500-1k words for responses.

I like to double within the same universe. Having our ocs develop friendships sparks joy.

m/f is usually how ‘my’ pairings go. I’m open to whatever for your pairing though.

I will write (in no order of preference): on site, gdocs, email, discord

The rest:

I am a ridiculously hopeless romantic. I love a lot of genres, but i’m trash for it.

This is a hobby. This is meant to be fun. Let’s work together to keep it fun.

I am terminally unserious. Canon is a guideline or a suggestion, not a law.

While i am inconsistent sometimes with post rate, i will ooc plenty. I love yapping and i’ve been fortunate to make great friends roleplaying.

I also love memes, making fanart, pinterest boards, playlists, and generally being too invested in ALL the ships and characters.

Hard lines:

Please be 21+ (preferably 25+). I’m really not comfortable with writing with anyone younger.

No medical settings as the main setting (like grey’s anatomy or something, idk).

I’m also not interested in exploring heavy substance use, explicitly written sexual assault, genuine love triangles, or abusive relationship dynamics between main characters.

Most highschool settings and no underage characters. I know i have some fandoms listed that have that, but let’s age folks up?
