TV Install Houston
Hey Y’all! It’s a pleasure to meet you. We are TV Mounting HOUSTON – A Copper Castle company. We love installing TV’s, Surround Sound, Home Theaters, Media Rooms, Home Automation, and whatever other crazy awesome techie things you could ever dream of putting into your lovely abode or man cave. And we do it really well. We’re not trying to toot our own horn here but… beep beep.
BEST TV MOUNTING SERVICE IN HOUSTON, TX
TV installation – sounds like a pretty simple thing, doesn’t it? And it usually is, at least until something goes wrong.
Here’s how it goes – you get this huge thing in a box, and then you have to get it out of the box. You struggle, and yank, and rip cardboard, and then you probably end up with packing peanuts all over your floor, but hey, you’re getting there, right?
Now, the next step is to schlep this monster screen over to where you want it. Hanging it on the wall? Great, just make sure you can find the studs, otherwise the whole thing is going to come crashing down. Actually, if you’re going to DIY this thing, you might want to recruit a buddy to help you.
Now, once you do get it hooked up on your wall mount, or pole mount, you need to be sure that your Wi-Fi recognizes your TV. Otherwise, streaming? Fuhgeddaboudit. What about your cable or dish? How’s that going to work? You might want to set aside a weekend to get your flat screen installed and working.
Or, you could just give us a jingle. We promise that’s way easier. You’ll get the best price from the best company, and you can be up and running and binge-watching your favorite show on Netflix in no time.
Listen, not everyone is technology-minded, but we are. We can do in a heartbeat what might take you days. Sure, you could, in the immortal words of Larry the Cable Guy, “get ‘er done,” but isn’t your time worth something?

The Orbitron
The Orbitron is a custom car built by Ed Roth and feared lost until its rediscovery in Mexico in 2007
A second generation to Roth's original Beatnik Bandit, which was built in 1960, the Beatnik Bandit II features a one-of-a-kind fiberglass body with PPG lemon meringue pie paint, stylized Rat Fink designs on the sides, and chrome by Metal Masters of Salt Lake City, UT.
Beatnik Bandit II includes many unique design features, including an electronic console which operates the digital instrument panel and other features such as a digital readout of the car's latitude and longitude.
The lack of a rearview mirror is not a problem on this car. A "TV mirror" video monitor is mounted on the console with the actual camera mounted in the rear panel. The bubble top is also lifted electronically.
Beatnik Bandit II was built entirely by Roth, who credits "Revelations from Father in Heaven" for his achievement. The car has been shown in major U. S. cities, including Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston, as well as in Yokohama, Japan.
The Beatnik Bandit
Ed 'Big Daddy' Roth was an artist, cartoonist, illustrator, pinstriper and custom car designer and builder who created the hot-rod icon Rat Fink and other characters. Roth was a key figure in Southern California's Kustom Kulture and hot-rod movement of the late 1950s and 1960s The Beatnik Bandit was one of his first creations from the early 1960s. It was built from a 1949 Oldsmobile, the chassis was shortened 5 feet, the Olds engine was given the classic hotrod look with GMC blower and twin carbys, everything was chromed except the blower belt. The white interior featured single joystick, that operated turning, throttle and braking. The bubble top was created using compressed air to inflate a sheet of plastic into a dome in a pizza oven. On display at the National Automobile Museum in Reno
Mysterion
Ed Roth built the Mysterion in 1963, he got the idea from the multi engine dragsters he had seen at the dragstrips. He combined two Ford engines, two transmissions, plus two welded rear ends for the foundation. It featured an offset headlight and the typical Ed Roth bubble top. On display at Galpin Auto Sports.
The Road Agent by Ed “Big Daddy” Roth.
Mysterion
Custom builder and artist Ed "Big Daddy" Roth completed the Mysterion in 1963. The bubbletopped custom featured a completely original fiberglass body and twin Ford big-block engines. The weight of the engines was too much for the frame to bear, and the Mysterion fell apart. Tribute versions have been built, including this precise replica from Galpin Auto Sports.
The Surfink
The Surfink, created by Mark Glaz as a tribute to Ed Roth and Ratfink, features a large Ratfink figure atop a surfboard complete with a blown V-8 engine.
The Orbitron
Built in 1964, the vehicle was powered by a 1955 or 1956 Chevrolet V8 and was backed by a Powerglide automatic transmission. The body was hand-laid fiberglass, hiding Roth's extensive chrome work to the chassis. The cockpit, set at the extreme rear of the vehicle in the manner of a dragster, was lined with fake fur and featured an 11-inch General Electric "1-Touch" portable television inserted in the console. Topping the cockpit was a custom-made, hydraulically operated Plexiglas bubble top. One of a series of ordinary doorbell push-button switches atop the hood activated the top from the outside.
Other mechanical features included a 1956 Chevrolet rear end, dropped Ford front axle beam, Buickbrake drums and early Ford brakes. The frame was handmade of rectangular 2x4 inch steel tubing. The engine was a leftover from one of Roth's 1955 Chevrolets, having been removed to make way for a then-new Mark IV big-block given to him by General Motors. It was one of the very few completed cars Roth deemed to be a "mistake" because he felt the car did not show well since the heavily chromed engine and most of the chassis were hidden. The Orbitron was, in fact, one of his few customs to have a hood. Reportedly, the hydraulically operated hood did not fit well due to rushed fiberglass work.
The vehicle's most distinctive feature was its asymmetrical front end with red, green and blue tinted headlamps. It was thought that the three beams when combined would produce an intense white light; the idea came from the then-new medium of color television.

had another one of those angel dreams lol
this time, they were coming through a hurricane, somehow. much of the dream was spent running around with friends in preparation for the hurricane, buying supplies and whatnot, and it seemed normal at first, you know, like, i spent most of my life in houston, it happens, but that feeling was there, that mounting dread. i kept running into this weird guy who kept saying cryptic things while bringing me things i needed or was looking for. he kept implying that i owed him. i also saw a lot of weird things in electronic devices like tvs or computers, like something was interfering with them. before the hurricane hit, i remember looking up into the clouds in the distance and seeing a glow within, and hearing something about a radiation hazard before the weather people on the radio started screaming.
my partner woke me up around this time to say bye before he went to work, and when i fell back asleep, it was still the same dream, but the hurricane had passed. there were a lot of unexplained deaths or murders in its wake, but everything felt very different, bizarrely normal, like nothing had happened at all. nothing really interesting happened after that, it just turned into a typical dream for me. a lot of my family, interstate driving, wandering around residential areas, that kind of thing.
the really annoying thing about these dreams is that they always seem to pop up in the middle of something else. like tonight, for example, i barely remember what i was dreaming about before, but I'm pretty sure it was like, an old JRPG that doesn't actually exist and its impressive world map, or something like that, like my friend was showing it to me or talking about it or something, and then the dread hits and it's an angel dream again. very annoying. they don't happen a lot, but they do happen, and i never sleep well when they do, even if it does eventually transition back into a normal dream like tonight's did.
#sorry for dreamposting#it's mostly for my benefit#i don't really keep a physical dream diary anymore and i like to talk about them anyway so posting them is kind of a win win

Was the Holiday House staged? Staged in a sense to prepare people for the possibility of a Taylor like convention in the future, to see what people liked and what they didn’t. Like a trial and error type shituation? Because IF something was gonna be done to the person responsible for having that event, something would have happened already. But it didn’t, and people are still talking about it. So that makes me think that what happened was what was supposed to happen. Also my adhd is all over the place with this one. Also the Holiday House event had a total of 191 rooms. A little math gets ya, 191-149(number shows)= 48. 48th show was N1/6 LA 8/3/2023 where she played I Can See You (3rd album 19th track) and Maroon (10th album 2nd track). 3+1=4 1+9+2=12… 412 is the area code that covers the Pittsburgh area and its surrounding suburbs. Cities included: Pittsburgh, McKeesport, Bethel Park, Penn Hills, and Ross. Allegheny County and parts of Washington and Westmoreland counties. 412 was one of the first area codes created in 1947.
4+1+2= 7.. Tom Brady has 7 Super Bowl wins, for some reason I feel that this is relevant. And as of 11/2/24 Sidney Crosby scored his 93rd career game winning goal and surpassed Mike Mordano for the 7th most in NHL history with a single franchise.

Things To Consider Before Getting TV Mounting Service in Houston

You first need to consider a few things to get a better understanding of everything. After that, you can be sure to proceed with the installation.

'Netflix's "Ripley" has arrived. The eight-episode series premiered Thursday on Netflix and is a fresh take on Patricia Highsmith's chameleon-like conman, who the world was first introduced to in her 1955 novel, "The Talented Mr. Ripley."...
Like Anthony Minghella's 1999 sun-dappled adaptation, which starred Matt Damon in the central role, and the French take on the story "Purple Noon" released in 1960, "Ripley" follows the titular grifter (Andrew Scott) as he ingratiates himself into the life of two wealthy Americans living la dolce vita on a never-ending vacation in Italy.
Critics have praised the series, citing its striking film noir visuals and compelling cast performances. But for some, the pacing of the show is an issue; the slow, almost languid nature of the episodes (the longest of which clocks in at 76 minutes) means it's not necessarily one you could — or should — sit down and binge in one go.
As many critics have pointed out, "Ripley" indulges in every minute of its almost eight-hour run time. It may take a few episodes to engross audience members, but it's well worth the ride.
The Financial Times' Dan Einav noted that the series "takes its time to establish each location with a scene-setting collage of images," pointing out "wonderful details like the liver-spotted hand of a bus driver shifting gear to climb up towards Dickie's village and the bubbles of champagne in Ripley's glass as he acclimatises to a new life."
"The careful mapping of Tom's every move, whether in furtherance of his deceit or the covering up of his crimes, allows the tension to mount exquisitely," Lucy Mangan wrote for The Guardian.
"This kind of meticulous artistry deserves equally attentive viewing," Lena Wilson argued for IGN, adding: "Despite streaming in full on Netflix, 'Ripley' works best when watched in moderation."
However, Aramide Tinubu, writing for Variety, disagreed, arguing that "the episodes are painfully overlong and full of dead space."
"'Ripley' unfolds too slowly — as the trail of events attracts the attention of an Italian detective (Maurizio Lombardi) — while creating the risk that some people will bail out before the series reaches the good stuff," CNN's critic Brian Lowry stated.
In her review of the series for BBC, Caryn James wrote that Andrew Scott "brings a hum of sinister energy to the role of Tom Ripley."
The New York Times's Mike Hale said the Irish actor "does a meticulous job of portraying Ripley's transition from shifty timidity to insolent confidence, from lost boy to aesthete, through subtle shifts of expression and posture."
"Charismatic and scary in equal measure, Scott has never been better, and he's aided in his exceptional cause by Zaillian, whose writing is razor-sharp and his direction just as assured," the Daily Beast's Nick Schager said in his review.
But, as Daniel Fienberg wrote in his review for The Hollywood Reporter, Scott is "too old" to play the fledgling sociopath.
"It's one thing for Tom Ripley to be an unformed if still protean grifter at 21 or 22, but another thing still to be scraping by without an identity at 35," he argued...
"In an era where huge TV budgets often equate to cheap-looking visuals, Ripley is staggeringly, starkly beautiful," John Nugent wrote for Empire.
Cary Darling, writing for The Houston Chronicle, said that Elswit's monochrome palette is "almost a character of its own, one that throws the story into a sharp, film-noir relief."
Writing for Collider, Remus Noronha stated: "Every shot in 'Ripley' is perfectly composed, worthy of being showcased in a gallery as high art."
Ultimately, "Ripley" feels like it has been cut from an entirely different cloth to that of the 1999 film version of "The Talented Mr. Ripley," which is the best-known adaptation. Most reviewers agree that distinction is a good thing.
"The story may revolve around imitation, but 'Ripley' is a show determined to do its own thing," Einav wrote in his review for the Financial Times.
"'The Talented Mr. Ripley' has often been adapted in a way that felt sweaty, hot, and impassioned — this one is ice cold, drained of color and most human emotion. The choice really serves the reading of Ripley as an amoral creature, someone who doesn't cross boundaries of right and wrong as much as he never even considers them," reads the RogerEbert.com critic Brian Tallerico's review of the series.
As many reviewers pointed out, Zaillian's main point of reference for the series may have been the work of Alfred Hitchcock, the filmmaker best known for "Psycho," "The Birds," and "Strangers on a Train" (the last of which was adapted from another of Highsmith's novels).
"'Ripley' plays as if it were a Hitchcock series Hitchcock never made," reads the BBC review.
Rolling Stone's Alan Sepinwall called it "a masterpiece of Hitchcock-style suspense."...'
