And the new #Rheem tankless #water heater is installed!  Excited.  Broke it in with a hot #shower for the first try.  Like a champ:  quick, consistent hot water.  It’s my first one, so we’ll see how long it lasts.  Beauty is, it only uses #electricity when it sense a flow of liquid, and none the rest of the time, so I expect real savings on the utility bill each month.  There’s some ‘green’ for ya, in more ways than one. 

My good friend Andy helped me on the install; we used to work in HVAC together.  He dealt with the #electrical, and I leaned for the #plumbing.  Got filthy, but glad to say it still feels good to do a real day’s work in the process (but I still hate crawlspaces and attics.  #lol.)

The red is the new color for my #kitchen renovate:  cashmere “bolero,” from #SherwinWilliams.  Love it; very deep and rich. 

I just did the same weight bearing technique for wall mounting my 50″ flat screen #TV recently.  I use a ‘backing plate’ to distribute the load instead of relying straight on the drywall and stud directly.  Was going to paint the 1/2 inch pine, but I had stain and clear coat, so went that way.  Glad I did; much butter contrast and it shows the #wood off.
